"Charlotte! I have someone here you have to meet." My mother yelled, waking me from my much needed nap.
What could it be? Let me guess, she got the cheese on sale?

"Coming." I reply, walking out of my bedroom.

I made my way into the livingroom, where apart from my mum, two other figures were there.
They were engaged in a conversation, excluding the younger looking guy, who looked around my age. I didnt want to disrupt so I just sat on the opposite couch of the boy and went on my phone.

"Lottie! Why didn't you tell me you were here!" My mother exclaimed. Why is she so peppy? Turn it down, women.

"Sorry, I didn't want to interupt your conversation. Who's this?" I asked.

"Lottie this is Daniel.. my fiance, and his son Harry." Come again? Fiance?? When the hell did this happen?

"Oh." Was all I managed to croak out. I was beyond shocked, not only that, but I'm dissapointed. She didn't even have the courtesy to tell her daughter she was even dating.

"Hello Charlotte, Im Daniel. Nice to meet you." He said, extending his hand. I stared at it for a moment and shook it.

"Harry, come introduce yourself." He spoke. Harry.. I like that name.

"Hi, I'm Harry." The curly-boy said from his seat. Well, so much for manners.

"Hi." I said coldly, causing him to raise his head and roll his eyes. Whatever, bitch.

"Lottie be nice, he's going to be your step-brother as of tomorrow." Tomorrow? Where the hell have I been?

"Tomorrow? Mum when did you think you were going to tell me? The day before you get married?" I shouted. I dont care if I looked mental, I can't believe she's doing this.

"I'm sorry Lottie, I must've forgotten. The planning took forever. Lottie, I'm happy and I'm convinced you're going to be happy aswell. Let's move on, shall we?" She said, trying to reason.

I guess I just have to exept that my father is dead and my mother is ready to move on. I'm doing this for her.

One things for sure, I won't get along with Curly. I don't care, as long as he stays out of my stuff, Whatever.

"We shall." I smiled. Her face was beaming, she was truly happy.

If she's happy, then I'm happy.

From the corner of my eye I saw Harry rolling his eyes. I cleared my throat and gave him the finger. He just sat there, his eyes glued to his phone.

I don't know how I'm going to do this.
