Chapter 18
Chaianne's P.O.V
It's Saturday and I promised Clarissa that she and I would go shopping.We are walking down town and she is holding my hand.
"Sissy is that Harry?" she asked me pointing to a guy across the street kissing a girl.I rolled my eyes but continued to walk.
"Want ice cream?" I asked her.She nodded her hed vigrously.I laughed and then we walked into the ice cream parlor.I ordered myself cookies and cream and ordered Clarissa choclate.We were sitting and eating when someone cleared their throats.I looked to find Harry with the girl looking down at me.
"Hey stranger.Want to come over to my house to work on our project later?" Harry asked me.I rolled my eyes.
"You seem a little bit busy and I'm having a girls day with my sister.Now if you will excuse us we have to go." I said standing up and holdng my hand out for Clarissa so we could walk to my car and go home.
When we got back to the house I found a note from my parents saying they will be gone for two weeks since they were taking Charlie on college visits.
"Well miny me it's you and me for the next two weeks." I said as we both plopped on the couch.
"Does this mean pizza every night?" Clarissa asked me in excitement.
"Nope.Sorry." I said walking to the door since the doorbell rang.I opened the door to fins Harry standing alone.
"Umm hey.I so I was thinking you and Clarissa could come over and have dinner.My mom wants to meet you also." Harry said rubbing his neck.
"Why does your mom want to meet me?" I asked crossing my arms.
"Because I told her you and I would be spending alot of time with you.Also you and I do need to work on our project." Harry said.He did have a point we really did have to work on our project.
"Ok fine.Let me get Clarissa.Is it ok if while I'm there is she sleeps in your bed since I'm pretty sure we are going to work past her bed time." I said.He nodded his head.I let him come in while I got Clarissa's pajamas and bear.We then walked to Harry's car and got int.
Once we got to his house he led us in.When we walked I heard laughing coming from the room I'm assuming is the living room.He took Clarissa's stuff out of my hands and took it to his room while I stood there holding Clarissa.When he came back he told me to follow him.
"Mum,Gemma,Robin this is Chaianne and her little sister Clarissa"Harry said.I waved and set Clarissa down to have her hide behind my leg.
"Nice to meet you.Are you staying for dinner dear?"Harry's mum asked me.
"If that's ok with you Mrs.Twist." I replied trying to get Clarissa to come from behind me.
"That's fine dear but I insest that you call me Anne."She said coming and hugging me.I smiled and nodded.For the rest of the night Harry and I worked on our project and then we ate.We then worked on it and I put Clarissa to sleep in Harry's bed.When we finally finished our project it was 11:59 and I was too tired to do anything and so was Harry.
"Why don't you stay here tonight?I'm sure Gemma will lend you a pair of her pajamas and you and Clarissa can stay in our guest room." Harry said.I nodded my head while yawning.He smiled and got me pajamas and then brought them to me.
"Thanks.I'll get Clarissa." I said begging to walk to Harry's room before he blocked me.
"No you go change and I'll bring her to you." Harry said.I nodded my head and walked to the guest room and changed.When I was finished Harry brought Clarissa in and laid her in bed and covered her up.
"Thank you." I said as we stood in my doorway.
"It's no big deal love." Harry said before he kissed me.I began to kiss back and then we pulled away.I looked up at him and saw he had a smile on his face.That made two of us.
"Get some sleep. I'll see you tomorrow love." Harry said walking to his room.I closed the door and leaned against it.What am i doing?Harry is a known player.I don't believe in love.
