Chapter 2- Let's Talk

Bella's Point of View:
Without saying a single word, he slowly lifted Mia from my arms and sat down on the floor with her. She wrapped her hand around his big finger and tried to stand up to grab his curls. A small smile was hiding in the corner of Harry's mouth but he wouldn't reveal it. "She's got your eyes." He muttered making silly faces at her. I nodded my head and slid down to the floor next to him to join in playing with Mia. "When's her birthday?" He asked playing with her tiny hands.
"January 21st." I uttered softly through my cracking voice. We sat there in silence beside a few chuckles at Mia's silly behavior for maybe twenty minutes. After a while, I decided this really wasn't the best idea. "Come to mommy." I whispered scooping Mia up in my arms.
"Where are you going?" Harry asked getting a little emotional following me up from the ground.
"I have to go back out there... Jamie's burial is in an hour and..." I covered my mouth and let out a few tears. There was no way I could finish that sentence. "We just need to go. Mia and I." I stated firmly.
"You can't keep her from me forever. I'm here now. Things are different." He insisted.
"Yes Harry, things are so different." I whispered through my clenched teeth. "You can't just come when I'm most vulnerable to meet Mia and start this whole thing up. That's selfish." I spat letting a few tears roll down my cheek.
"Oh my mistake, I'm the selfish one." He growled sarcastically. I lifted my hand and struck his cheek strongly. "Seriously?" He asked putting a hand on his face. Immediately I felt a little guilty.
"I can't do this today! Jamie's fucking dead Harry!" I whispered shouted covering Mia's ears. I looked at his puzzled face and watched it go soft when I said that. He nodded his head and looked to the ground.
"Isn't that more of a reason to let me be a part of her life?" He asked looking down at Mia.
"Why don't you come by tonight to mine and Niall's and..." I was cut off.
"You and Niall?!" He gasped. "Shoulda saw that coming." He muttered.
"Don't even act like you haven't dated since me." I rolled my eyes at him. "Why don't you tell everyone from LA to come over to my apartment tonight... I'll send Perrie the address." I said. She's the only one I've spoken to out of all of them, accidentally of course. She manages the Twisted in New York and I saw her out for lunch one day. That's probably how they all found out about Jamie.
"Alright. Will Mia be there?" He asked bending down and kissing her forehead.
"Of course." I laughed wiping my eyes. We gazed at each other for a few more seconds before a knock at the door made us both jump.
"Bella, it's me, love." Niall whispered through the door. "It's time to go." he said sadly.
"See you tonight." I whispered to Harry before stepping outside the room first with Mia.

"Are you sure it's a good idea that they're coming here tonight?" Niall asked feeding Mia her dinner adorably.
"Yes, Harry and I have a lot to talk about." I whispered sliding on a fresh outfit. I watched Niall roll his eyes which only angered me a little bit. "I'm sure you and Chloe have a lot to talk about too." I reminded him. "Did any of them mention the letters?" I asked straightening up the apartment.
"Nope, but it was clear that they read them. I barely remember what I wrote." Niall laughed putting Mia's dishes in the sink. I smiled a little and pulled out my phone.
3 New Messages:
Drew: Be right over, love you sis.
Olivia: I hope you're doing alright babe. xx Everyone misses you!
Perrie: On our way up! :)
Drew's text made my heart break a little... We're really not taking anything for granted anymore especially each other. Olivia is my best friend from work and Perrie...
Knock, Knock!
"Fuck! They're here." I shouted quickly covering my mouth. Niall headed towards the door and opened it, letting in all of them including Drew whom I guess they picked up in the parking lot. "Hi everyone." I said nervously. The only one I've really hugged yet was Liam, and that was just for a moment. Harry immediately went past us and went towards Mia, Drew shortly following him.
"How's my favorite God daughter!" Drew laughed leaning down and kissing her cheek. Harry smiled and waved at her, and she giggled back. I honestly didn't think I'd ever see them together, so this is making my heart melt. My gaze was interrupted by a small push on my shoulder.
"Hey twinkletoes." Zayn whispered with a small smile on his face. I looked at him with sad eyes and felt horrible inside.
"Do you hate me?" I said barely audibly.
"I could never. Was I pissed off? Absolutely... but Jamie's passing shows me not to taking anything for granted. So come here." he smiled with open arms. I immediately rushed forward and crashed into his embrace.
"I'm happy you're alive." I laughed kissing his cheek softly, not letting go of his embrace.
"It was all thanks to you... Right before you snuck out of the room when you were leaving LA I saw you." He laughed. I thought back to that time when I was saying goodbye to Zayn in the hospital and his eyes fluttered open.
"Oh my gosh." I laughed a little bit.
Slowly I greeted everyone and caught up slowly with Chloe and Liam, but eventually it was time to face the music.
"We have a few things to discuss." Harry whispered from behind me in the kitchen. I nodded my head and kissed Niall's cheek.
"Do you need me?" He asked bouncing Mia up and down on his lap. I glanced at Harry who looked annoyed at that question.
"I think I'll be good." I whispered following Harry to a closed off room, which happened to be mine and Niall's bedroom.
"You know I'd never hurt you again...." he started off, I guess regarding Niall's comment.
"I know." I nodded laying down on my side of the bed. Harry jumped onto the other and flipped over so he was looking at me.
"Let's talk." He whispered. I nodded my head and took a deep breath.
