Finding Georgia Rose

Chapter Two

Harry’s POV
“It’s been nine months mate,” Niall said, “Aren’t you going to give up on her just yet?”

“Not a chance Niall,” Harry replied, “I don’t what it was about her but there was something. It was almost an instant connection when we started talking. She was witty and smart and even though I couldn’t see her face, she was stunning.”

“You think the song will get her to come out?” Liam asked as the boys were waiting in the waiting room for Grimmy’s show.

“I sure hope so,” Harry replied, “Do we have somewhere we need to be after this?”

“Yeah,” Zayn said, “We have to go to a dinner party James Wilson is hosting for some of the label’s artists. Simon said we have to go.”

“Great,” Harry groaned

Harry just wanted to get the release of the song over with and then go back home and try to think of another way to find the Georgia Rose that plagued his mind since the night of Simon’s Halloween Masquerade Ball. He went through the motions of releasing the song and now was the wait game to see if Georgia would come out from hiding. All Harry had was small information that she let out about herself. She said her father used to be a dentist and that her parents died a long time ago and she moved from the United States to live with her uncle who had a very good job. He was taken out of his thoughts when Grimmy came out and they all greeted each other and they got ready for their interview. The interview was pretty painless and Harry was the first one to leave the studio and headed back to his flat. Harry was walking into his flat when his cell phone rang.

“Hello,” he answered without looking at the caller ID.

“Hey baby brother!” Harry heard Gemma’s voice and he smiled.

“Hey Gem,” he replied as he walked into his kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water, “What’s up?”

“Just calling to say I heard the song,” she said, “And I want to know who is mysterious Georgia Rose is and why I haven’t met her.”

Harry just laughed lightly and smiled. Only Gemma would pick up on their new song being about a girl that Harry had met. Gemma and his mum were the ones who could read in between the lines tell when they needed to know something.

“Well,” he sighed sitting on his couch, “About nine months ago I met this girl named Georgia Rose at one of Simon’s costume party. I’ve been trying to find her because I didn’t think to get her number at the party. I then thought that maybe if I put a song out that had something about her she might try to find me.”

“Well have you tried googling her at all?” she asked.

“Yes,” Harry sighed, “And I don’t know if Georgia Rose is her first and a last name or if it’s just her first name or if it’s a first and middle name. I don’t know that so it’s be hard trying to find her.”

“You just got me in on trying to find your mysterious Georgia Rose,” Gemma said and I will
call you if I find anything.”

“Thanks Gemma,” Harry smiled lightly.

Harry and then Gemma spent the next hour catching up with each other since they hadn’t talked to each other in over two weeks. Harry was home for a few days before the boys had to go back to the states to finish up their tour in the states. Once Harry and Gemma were finished with their conversation Harry decided to get ready for this dinner party that the boys had to go to before the boys came down to his flat and they all left. Harry hopped in the shower and got ready for picking out a simple yet professional outfit. He was fixing his hair when he heard his mate’s voices and quickly finished his hair.

“What time is it?” he asked.

“Six-fifty,” Liam said looking at his phone with his arm wrapped around his girlfriend, Sophia’s, waist.

“Let’s go,” he said, “If were late I’m pretty sure Simon will kill us.”

“Nah mate,” Niall said throwing his arm around Harry’s shoulders, “We’d just send you in to talk to him and we’d be golden.”

Everyone just laughed at Niall’s comment but it was pretty true. Harry could talk to the boys out of trouble any day of the week. Harry just had enough charm and wit to get out of trouble and punishment since he could remember. Harry smiled at Niall and just shook his head as they headed down to the van that Simon had already called for them. On the ride there Harry was hoping that this dinner wasn’t going to be boring and somewhat enjoyable.

“Ready to go eat some free fancy food?” Louis asked.

“As we’ll ever be,” Harry said.

They all walked up to the flat and knocked on the door. They were expecting James to answer the door but they were all taken aback when the door opened to reveal a girl who was laughing at someone.

“Oh hello,” she smiled at the group, “Please come in. Let me go get my uncle for you all.”

She then disappeared into the kitchen and the group walked in a bit confused. Harry however was following the girl with his eyes. James then came out of the kitchen but the girl who answered the door was nowhere to be found.

“Oh great you boys made it,” James smiled at the boys.

“Thanks for inviting us James,” Harry heard Liam say but his main concern was finding the brunette that answered the door.

He knew she wasn’t a part of this party because of what she was wearing but he had to talk to her. She was absolutely stunning and he had only seen her all but of two minutes.

“No one is here quiet yet but you boys are more than welcome to make yourselves at home,” James said as they made their way into the living room.

Harry was about to ask James when he saw James scolding the girl who answered the door.

“Georgie you said you’d clean this mess up,” James said laughing as the two girls who were in the living room were in mid bite of a licorice rope.

“Sorry Uncle James,” Georgie giggled, “Liv offered me candy.”

“You girls I swear,” James chuckled as Harry just kept staring at the girl named Georgie.

“We’ll be in the TV room if you need us,” Georgie replied.

Harry then watched the girls quickly put all their food in the bags and quickly disappeared down a hallway of the giant flat and they heard a door shut.

“Sorry about that lads,” James said, “My niece and her best friend are having a girls’ night.”

“It’s not a big deal James,” Louis smiled at the man the boys all considered a brotherly figure.

As the boys continued talking to James while the other guests arrived, Harry decided that he needed to talk to the brunette beauty called Georgie before the night was up.
