To add a coauthor to any story, the very first thing you have to do is start a new story (if you haven’t already) and fill out all of the requirements before submitting it. Then, just follow these instructions:

1. Go to MY STORIES.
2. Under the story that you want to add a coauthor to, click the AUTHORS button.
3. On top of the first white box (that also has further instructions in it), to the right, click the ADD AUTHOR button.
4. Type in the author-you-want-to-add’s username and click on the correct user when it shows up in a dropdown (you can add more than one at a time).
5. Make sure that the name is ‘colored’ with an ‘X’ by it, before hitting SUBMIT.

After you hit submit, the user you want to add as a coauthor will receive a notification asking them to accept or decline the invitation. Once that person has accepted, you will receive a notification that the user has accepted. The story will then show up under all authors’ stories lists and changes can be made from all parties, so be careful with who you choose to write with.

Coauthoring can be really fun; so don’t be shy to expand your writing experiences on here and partner up to write a story. I honestly love sharing and comparing ideas with my coauthor (of my new story that is coming out August 2 that I hope you all check out), and even though we have some creative differences, it’s really nice to be able to work with someone else for a change. So everyone should at least consider doing a collaboration of some sort with a coauthor. :)

Also, my wifi is being really spotty (on and off) at the moment, and I tried doing this when the opportunity window opened (fingers crossed this went through), so to anyone waiting for a review, thank you for your patience and I will hopefully get to it soon.
