The Reaction
Harry dropped me off, and quickly drove away, I guess he sensed that something was wrong, but didn’t want to upset me even more.
I rushed inside and went straight upstairs to get ready for dinner. I put on this beautiful new dress I just bought specifically for the occasion, and some black pumps. I quickly reapplied my bruise cover up, then put on some more eyeliner.
I looked in the mirror, gave myself an approving nod, then ran down stairs as Mason and Amber were sitting down to eat with the unusually cheerful Aaron…

After my brother and best friend left for the night, my stomach started doing little flips. I didn’t know what Aaron was going to do to me. I felt like I was going to throw up. Fuck! Aaron slowly started turning around to face me. Yep. Nice Aaron was gone. Long gone.
He stormed up to me, face full of pure, uncontrollable rage, and smashed his fist into the side of my face, causing me to spit blood on the floor, and then black out for a second. When I regained my site, he pulled me up off of the floor, and licked the blood off of my chin. What the fuck? I didn’t have much time to process that little action before he threw me against the stair case, causing me to crack my head on one of the stairs. I could feel the blood trickling down the back of my neck. I tried to stand up, but my legs stopped working, and I fell to the ground and started vomiting massive amounts of blood before passing out in the pool of my own vomit.

I woke up in a cold, white room. I could hear beeping in the room, but it sounded distant. The room was fuzzy and spinning, but as I started to regain my ability to see, the beeping got increasingly closer. I realized I was in a hospital bed. I tried to sit up, but my head started pounding, and a huge wave of nausea rushed over me. I started throwing up, but someone was holding a bucket thing under my mouth to catch it.
After I was done vomiting, I looked over to see who all was in my room. Only one person sat by my bed, saying absolutely nothing to me, just watching me…
