All of the sudden, there was a weight on me in the darkness, crushing me. I tried to breathe, but I couldn't, I just couldn't. I immediately started panicking, trying to free myself, dying for air. My arms were pinned, but I kicked my legs as hard as I could. Oh, my god! Crap! SHIT! God, oh my god! Tears filled my eyes as I continued to struggle. My chest felt like fire, and my eyes stung horribly. Oh, my god, I'm gonna die. I'm gonna die.
And then I was free. I tumbled to the floor, sobbing and gasping for breath, desperately sucking in air. Arms closed in around me. I shrieked and started elbowing the air around me until I made contact with something.
“Gods, Aspen, I think you poked a hole in my spleen!”
“Wha-?” I couldn't talk through my tears.
Harry's hands found my face in the black. “Shh, love. It's okay, it's just me. It's just me.” He tucked my head into his chest and held me while I finished bawling my eyes out. I'm pretty sure snot was getting everywhere. Not pretty.
“I'm so sorry.”
“Shh, it's okay. Don't even worry about it. Besides, I'm nearly certain that I'm the one who rolled over onto YOU.”
“God, THAT'S what happened. Thanks!” I swatted him. “I nearly died. Pretty sure you almost fucking killed me.”
“Well, do you feel dead?” He asked, getting up to find the light switch.
“...Yes.”
“Okay, then. Well,” Harry put his hand over my heart.”Still beating.” He kissed me. “Lips still work. I think you'll live.”
I couldn't keep the smile from blooming on my face. Freakin' charming Brits... I thought lovingly. “So now that we're up, why don't we watch a show or something until my heart rate gets back to normal?” Harry met my suggestion with a chuckle and a comedy. “And this is why I love you.”
“I thought it was because I'm devilishly handsome and have a sexy British accent.”
“That, too,” I said, snaking my arms around his neck. “What do you say we get this show on the road, hmm? Before you try and murder me again,” I quipped, winking.
“Nah. I think I might enjoy just sitting here listening to your witty remarks all night. Who needs cable?”
I grasped the remote,” I do. So shut up and cuddle me, okay?”
Harry laughed. “Oh, how could I resist?”
One kiss. Two kisses. Three kisses. Four—CRASH!
We quickly pulled away. “What the hell was that?!”

Harry untangled himself and grabbed the fire poker. “I have no bloody clue. But I'm going to find out.”

Dun. Dun. DUHHHHN!!! What the heck went boom? Is Aspen in danger? Will she make it through the night?! ...Probably, but asking these dramatic questions is fun. ;)
So, this is still Lalagirl1995, filling in for icedragon456 while she's on sick leave. I never cuss in real life, but there's curse words in the other chapters, so I'm trying to remember to work them in. Am I doing okay, Faithful Icedragon456 Fans? I know I'm not her (sigh), but I'm updating, at least! She'll be back soon to continue working her storytelling awesomeness. Until the, I'll remember to update everyday. And if her story isn't enough, you can check out mine, Before You Found Me. It's very different from icedragon456's (not so much romance yet), but it'll go on for...about forever, so at least you'll have an investment! ;)
Anyway, I'm gonna stop plugging my story to say that it makes me so happy that icedragon456 has such wonderful followers waiting anxiously for her updates/return. She's a wonderful person, so keep tuning in! Or reading or whatever, since this is a fanfic, not a radio or television show. Ha! Anyway, she's awesome, her story's great, y'all are sweet--LET'S KEEP THIS THING GOING!
