Girls' Day Out
Olivia’s P.O.V
It’s been a week since I’ve seen Harry and I’m happy that I haven’t bumped into him again. Nothing I repeat nothing is going to tear my family apart…again.
“Mommy..Mommy time to get up.” Bella said opening my eyes for me. I closed them but she just opened them again. I figured she won’t give up until I’m awake so I might as well get up.
“Good morning.” I said hugging her and pulling her into my lap. “What do you want to do today?” I asked her.
“I don’t know.” She said shrugging her shoulders.
“How about we wake Clair up and then figure it out from there?” I asked her. She nodded her head and jumped off of my and she ran to Clair’s room to wake her up as I climbed out of bed and walked to the kitchen. I looked in the refrigerator to see what we had to eat. I figured that Bella would eat her apple sauce. As I was taking out the apple sauce Rachelle and Katie walked in.
“Hey lazy bones. Where are the girlies?” Katie asked walking to be cabinet and taking out my jar of Nutella and grabbing a spoon. She then hopped up and sat on my bar counter.
“They are in Clair’s room doing who knows what.” I replied reaching for a bowl. As I set it down Jason walked in.
“Hey girls.” He said sitting on the stool next to Rachelle. We all waved.
“What are your guys’ plan for tonight?” I asked putting the applesauce in the bowl. I don’t get how Bella can eat it but she can.
“All three of us are going to a baseball game and then we are going to have a sleepover/ movie night.” Rachelle said. I turned and looked at her.
“All three of us? Sorry girls but I don’t have anyone to watch Clair and Bella.” I said.
“Sis I’ll watch them. Go have fun!” Jason said. I gave him a look questioning if he was serious. He nodded his head.
“Well looks like it will be a girls’ day. Anyways whose baseball game is it?” I asked as the girl ran into the kitchen.
“Remember Cody Fields?” Katie asked me. I nodded my head yes. “Well it’s his.” She said closing the lid of my Nutella.
“Ok…Um Jason. Do you mind maybe taking the girls out for breakfast since I only have apple sauce and I know Clair hates it.” I said. He nodded his head and the girls ran to get dressed. I ran after Bella so I could help her get dressed. When they were done they left with Jason for the night.
“Now you have to get ready girly so we can stop at Starbucks before the game.” Rachelle said turning me in the direction of my room. I quickly got dressed and did my hair and then we were ready to go. After we left Starbucks with our drinks we went to the field and sat in the bleachers.
“Remember when Liv had the biggest crush on Cody?” Katie asked laughing as I blushed.
“Yea that was before I found out he was a jerk and before he began to call me a slut once he found out about Bella.” I replied. They nodded their heads. The game began shortly. Cody was up to bat now.
“I can see why you liked him. Look at his butt.” Rachelle said. I rolled my eyes and laughed.
“Wow. You sound like a hormonal high school girl.” I replied as Katie began to laugh with me.
“Every time he turns around he looks at you.” Rachelle said. Katie agreed with her.
“No he doesn’t. Lets pay attention to the game.” I said glancing at my phone to see if I got a text from Jason. I didn’t so I watched the game. When the game was over we got up to leave but then Cody ran in front of us.
“Umm hey guys. I was wondering if you wanted to go out to lunch with me and two of my buddies from the team.” He asked us. I looked at the girls and they shrugged their shoulders so I agreed to go.
“Great! We have to take quick showers and change then we’ll be right out. You guys can wait here if you want.” He said as he walked away. We all sat back down on the bleachers.
“Told you he kept looking at you.” Rachelle said nudging my shoulder. I rolled my eyes.
“Whatever.” I said staring up at the sky. We sat there for 5 more minutes before Cody and his two friends walked over to us. We all stood up as they stopped in front of us.
“Rachelle, Olivia, Katie this is Brad and Mark. Brad and Mark this is Rachelle, Katie, and Olivia.” Cody said introducing us. We all said hi. “Umm Liv I want to apologize for what I said in high school.” Cody said.
“It’s fine. We all did stuff that we regret back then.” I said. I looked at Katie who seems to be getting along well with Brad and Rachelle seems to be getting along well with Mark. “So where are we going for lunch?” I asked.
“Well I was thinking maybe McDonalds since I only have cash with me.” Cody said nervously.
“That’s fine.” I replied. We all walked to the cars. The girls and I rode in my car and the guys rode in Cody’s. When we got to McDonalds the girls and I gave the boys money for our lunch, even though they protested, and found seats while they ordered for us.
“You and Cody would be so cute together.” Rachelle gushed.
“And what makes you say that?” I asked her.
“Look at you too together. Both Katie and I thought you guys would have dated in high school.” Rachelle said as the boys walked back with the food.
“SO how have you guys been? I see you are still the three musketeers.” Cody said as he took his spot in the seat next to me.
“Not much. Taking care of Bella and Clair mostly. You?” I asked him.
“Baseball, Baseball and more baseball. Do you have a boyfriend?” he asked me. Well he just likes to get straight to the point I see. I shook my head no.
“It’s kind of hard to not many people are accepting of the fact that I have Bella.” I said taking a bite of one of my fries when I finished.
“Oh ok.” Cody replied with a hint of a smile on his mouth. We continued eating and making small talk until we were finished. We walked to the cars and stood in the parking lot talking.
“I would like to do this again.” Brad said to Katie who had a smile on her face ten miles wide.
“So would I. Maybe we could exchange numbers.” Katie said shyly. Rachelle and I shared an amused look because we have never seen her like this around a guy before. They gave each other theirs phones to put their number in.
“I had fun. We defiantly need to hang out again sometime. Could I possibly have your number?” Cody asked me nervously. I figured might as well as I handed him my phone and he handed me his. After I put my number in I took a selfie and set it as my contact photo. We gave each other our phones back. I looked at Rachelle and Mark and they were hugging. Ok we are all going to have a serious talk when we get back to mine.
“We got to go, but talk to you later babe.” Cody said kissing my cheek. Ok did he just call me babe and kiss my cheek? I’m guessing he did because of the way Katie and Rachelle was looking at us. The ride back to my apartment was silent and when we got in we all changed into our pajamas even though we just had lunch. We walked into the living room and sat on the couch.
“Rachelle what is happening between you and Mark?” I asked wiggling my eyebrows.
“It was just a friendly hug. Nothing else. I should be asking you what is going on between you and Cody.” She said crossing her arms as she and Katie both looked at me for an explanation.
“I would love to explain but I don’t get it myself.” I replied. They nodded their heads in fake belief. We watched TV for a while before we got bored. I looked at the clock and it was now 7:30.
“Pizza for dinner?” I asked them. They both nodded their heads and I ordered the pizza. The delivery guy was at the house in 15 minutes. I paid for it the brought it to the living room and we decided to watch Nick and Norah’s infinite Playlist.
“I love this movie!” Katie said as it began. We all loved it.
*Beep Beep*
It was my phone alerting me that I got a text.
Cody: Hey babe I was wondering if you would want to hang out tomorrow.
Olivia: I’ll have Bella tomorrow so I can’t sorry.
Cody: You can bring her. We can go to the park.
Olivia: ok. What time?
Cody: 12:30 I could pack us a lunch
Olivia: Ok sounds like fun
After that he said bye because he had to go to work.
“Why are you so smiley?” Katie asked me. I just shrugged off her question and turned back to the TV. After Nick and Norah’s infinite Playlist was over we watched 500 Days of Summer and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. All three of us fell asleep in my living room.

Sorry guys things have been crazy and I have had writer's block! Working on a new chapter now though :)
