The Games (DISCONTINUED)
Chapter 6
Alana's POV.
BEEP BEEP BEEP. I wake up to a horrible screeching sound coming from the announcer.
"Sorry everyone that wasn't the emergancy alarm, It was to make sure everyone woke up. *cough* Rachel *cough* Snow *cough*." A robot like voice said. Rude. Wait I think it was Lucy. Typical.
But today was the day the games begin! I walk to the washroom and brush my teeth and hair etc.
I didn't want to wear something to fancy because they were going to change our clothes anyway. I made my way down and I was welcomed with a table full of delicious looking food.
Yum. I love food.
I look and see that Jana, Sydney, Victoria and Rachel are already seated, I guess I'm the late one today.
"I can't believe that Lucy lady called me out like that, it's not my problem that I sleep in, plus the boys say Harry sleeps in too! So we are even more made for each other now!" Says Rachel. I laugh at how obsessed she is of Harry. Kind of like me with Liam, and Victoria with Niall, and well you know what I mean.
Anyways we continue to stuff our faces with food until it gets to the point when the servants have to tell us to stop. Dang.
Then we hear Lucy coming down, we could tell it was her because when she comes down, it sounds like an Elephant. Jana made that up.She told us that we had to come to the main hallway for some last minute tips.
So we all went back upstairs to check if we forgot anything, And then I left. I was happy about that because I kept getting more and more nervous.
I met all the girls back downstairs and we hooked our arms and walked to the main hallway where we will meet Lucy and the rest of One Direction's management.
Victoria's POV.
It's been a whole 20 minutes and we're still listening to Lucy yibber yabber. I thought this was only going to be a few tips. Not a million, but I guess it could help us. I just wanted to get a bag with supplies. I will go hand to hand combat for it. Anything for my little Nialler. About 10 minutes later Lucy is finally finished.
"Now we will call your name and send you to a seperate room to be taken to the arena." She says with no emotion.
When I hear my name I walk up, and a girl takes my hand and starts to lead me down the hallway. It was awkwardly silent.
We finally arrived in a room with walls made of solid metalic gray metal. At the end of the room, there is a tube big enough to fit one person. I guess that will transport me to the arena. She hands me a pair of plain pants, a plain shirt, a plain jacket with just my district number on it and a plain pair of brown boots. Who picked out these clothes?? I need to give them a fashion lesson.
She starts to make sure I didn't bring any weapons with me, because that's considered cheating, if you do they automatically cut you out of the games. Which means byebye to you.
She escorts me to the tube so I get in side. All of the sudden the glass door shuts, startling me a little. Then a voice booms throught the speakers,
10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0.
Then the tube goes slowly upward. I could make out a forest a river and a field. A pretty good land for the games, with good recources, and hopefully animals too.
I stand on a small metal plate. A bunch of metal plates form a huge circle. I spot the other girls amoung it. In the middle is a bunch of bags full of supplies. I need to get one. This must be the Cornicopia. In the first part of the games lots of people die here.
I hope I'm not one of them.
Rachel's POV
OMG!! I can't believe this is finally happening! Let me start singing my favourite happy song 'Oh yeah! It's your birthday! Oh yeah! Oh yeah!' wait Rachel? What are you doing!? Don't die because you were daydreaming! Focus. Then we heard a man's voice, he started counting down from 60, 59, 58, 57, 56, 55.
I'm think about a safe way to get a bag of supplies, I spy one with a bow, hopefully I get it because I'm pretty good at archery.
35, 34, 33, 32, 31, 30.
I see Victoria eyeing the bags too. Same with all the other girls.
20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15.
I get my legs ready to run fast.
10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0.
I start running towards the bags
Jana's POV
As soon as the voice said 0, I took of running, same with everyone else. I could see Rachel wrestling Harry girls, I could see Victoria in hand to hand combat with one of the Niall girls, I could see Sydney pushing Zayn girls out of the way, and I could see Alana dodging the Liam girls.
I was looking all over the place I didn't notice one of the Louis girls jump in front of me, I quickly kick her in the face and she falls to the ground. Fucking weakling.
I see the other girls all already ran off with each other with bags. But I see Sydney stop behind a tree to wait for me. I quickly grab a bag and run to Sydney. I looked back and I could see about a dozen dead bodies. Ew.
Sydney's POV
As soon as Jana was beside me we ran to the other girls. We were all smiling because we survived one of the hardest parts of the games. We hoped the boys were watching over us right now.
We don't want to stay to close to the river because a lot of groups will be stopping there. We all stop for a minute to look at what's in our bags.
Alana had: Ropes, paint, and some water.
Jana had: A large sword, A bow (She gave it to Rachel after.), and some food
.
Rachel had: Some matches, a spear and some water.
Victoria had: Bandages, some net, and some water.
And I had: Some knives (I gave them to Jana.) a standard fishing rod, and some food.
I think we might do okay for a bit.
Lucy's POV
I was hoping at least one out of those girls would get killed! But guess what? None of them did of course! And I thought they weren't paying attention to my lesson's that really, actually help! But I still have hope. In each boys district, one girl is a robot, they are extremely hard to kill. There is only one way. Hopefully they don't figure it out because I can get fired.
But these girls need to be gone.

At the end of each chapter in the games we will put down how many are alive still. This chapter 11 girls dead. Only 39 left.Notes
