Chapter 4 <3
Maddy's POV
Oh, gosh. What did he have in mind? "Like what?" I asked him suspiciously.
"You'll see. But first, I need to go tell my mom. Come with!" He headed towards the door. I guess I didn't really have a choice, so I followed. After we were out of the house, he stopped and said, "What was that about? Don't you want to spend time with me?" He smirked at me. Why is he always so flirty? It was annoying... but I liked it all the same.
"Oh, come on Harry. Let's just go tell your mom already so you can tell me what we are going to do!" He chuckled and continued walking towards his house. I realized he never said anything about his dad. "Where's your dad?"
"Oh. My parents got divorced when I was 7. My mom's house is here." Oh. How come I never knew that?
"Oh, sorry." He didn't respond back, except a lazy attempt at a smile. When we got to his front door, he didn't walk right in, he knocked. Why? When I get to my house, I just walk in! Well, unless the door's locked, then I knock. "Why didn't you just walk right in?" I am so confused.
"I'm not sure, really. I just respect my mom's privacy, so I don't jump in if she is in the middle of doing something. I wouldn't want someone doing it to me, so I don't do it to anyone else." Oh. That was weird and kind of sweet! Right then, his mom opened the door.
"Hi, Harry!" She was about to say something else, when she saw me out of the corner of her eye. She smiled at me. "Who's this pretty, young lady?" I blushed.
"Hi, mom! This is Maddy. She just moved in next door! Her mom has a meeting tonight, so she is going to hang with me. Is that okay?"
"Sure, honey! Do you want to come inside?" He thought for about 2 seconds, then said,
"Okay! Come on in, Maddy!" I followed him inside. I didn't know where I was supposed to stop or what, so I just continued following him until he entered what I assumed to be his room, where he stopped, let me enter, then closed the door.
"What are we going to do?" I was really confused at this point. He sat on his bed, and got out his phone.
"Well, I thought you felt awkward spending the whole night with me, so I decided I would call up some of my friends to come hang too. Is that okay with you?" Oh my god. If I knew right, he would be calling the other 4 members of One Direction! Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik!
"Yeah, sure! Are you gonna call Niall, Liam, Louis, and Zayn?" He looked at me and smiled.
"You bet I am! It's never awkward when they are all around. So, he called all four of them, and they all said yes! They were all coming over at 5:45, and right now it was 4:00. That left 1 1/2 hours until then! What were we supposed to do then?
"Since we have 1 hour and 45 minutes until they get here, I'm just going to go and change. I will text you!" He got off his bed.
"Okay! I'll walk you out!" We walked down the stairs and out to the front door. I said goodbye, and headed back to my house. And again, what was I supposed to wear?!
