Chapter 3 <3
Maddy's POV
As soon as we got home, we went into my house. Oh crap. I forgot this wasn't the home I was used to, and the were 500 boxes filled with different things in each one! I started tearing open the boxes and throwing out everything in the box. A rubber duck? A piece of gum? Why couldn't we have packed these more organized?! I must have started to seem panicked, because Harry interrupted me by saying, "Love? Is everything alright?" What was I supposed to say? That I lost my schedule 1 day after I got it?!
"Uh, no actually. It may seem pretty stupid, but... I kind of already lost my schedule..." He looked concerned and took a look around my house, then he started laughing hysterically! Then he told me why he was laughing by saying,
"Love? Have you checked in your backpack yet?" Oh. I feel so stupid. I walked over to my backpack and opened it. Of course, my schedule was the first thing I saw as soon as I un-zipped it. Wow. I was so embarrassed!
"...Found it..." I turned back around to face him again, and walked towards him, just to find him chuckling again. Wow, Maddy. Nice first impression.
"So what's your first class?" I checked my schedule. Wow these looked much different than they did at my old school. He must have seen the confused look on my face, because he took my schedule out of my hands and looked at it. "Hmm... Social Studies... Uh huh..." I interrupted his little dazed moment by asking,
"So? Do we have any classes together?" He looked up from my schedule and smiled.
"Yes, love! Every single one!" Yay!
"Really? Cool!" We smiled at each other, then started to lean closer and closer to each other... *SWISH* The door opened. It scared Harry and I. We jumped nearly 5 feet backwards! It was just my mom.
"Hi sweetie! I went to the grocery s-..." She looked at me, then looked at Harry. "Is this a neighbor of ours?" I was still trying to regain my normal heartbeat, but Harry answered her for me.
"Hello Mrs...?"
"Mrs. Walsh," She smiled at him.
"Mrs. Walsh. My name is Harry, and I live right next door."
"Oh, that's nice! Now Maddy has someone to hang with while I go to a meeting tonight!" She looked at me and smiled. She had a meeting? Since when?!
"You have a meeting?" I asked her, a little less loud than when I said it in my head.
"Yes! Sorry I haven't had a time to mention it to you, but you were off somewhere when I got the call. Would you be alright staying with Maddy, Harry?"
"I'd love to!" Harry turned to me and smiled, his green eyes twinkling with excitement. I guess it'll be fine...
"Oh, I wish I could get to meet your parents, Harry! Are your parents doing anything tomorrow night?" Now she wants to meet his parents?
"I'm not sure. I will be happy to ask her tonight, though!"
"Oh, that would be great! Well, I have to go get ready for my meeting, you all can go do something! I will be home at about 12:30! No staying up too late!" Oh, mom.
"Mo-om!" I whined at her. All she did was wink.
"Have a nice night kids!" And after that, she was up the stairs.
"Well, what do you want to do?" I asked Harry. He grinned.
"I have some ideas"
