Undercover

Sara's p.o.v.

I walked into the restaurant with Harry next to me. I stopped walking the second I saw them they didn't see me yet. Now I was having second thoughts about this. I wanted to run away and don't look back.

*Flashback*

"Why is everything spinning?" Scarlet asked.

I looked at Justin. "How high is she?" I asked

"I found her at Ben's place. Everyone was really wasted." He told me.

"I told her mom that she was staying with me. Thank god she bought it" I said

"We are home darling!" Me father shouted. My parents just came back from a little vacation.

"Quick take her to my bathroom and get her sobered up. I'll be up in a sec." I told Justin

And he gladly did, now I know why.

*End flashback*

We helped her. We hid the truth from her parents. From our parents. We thought that that was what made us so close. Those damn secrets. I wished I had told our parents everything and that Scarlet went to rehab then and not some years later.

Someone pulled me out of my thoughts by taking my hand in his. I looked at our hands and then at Harry.

"Are you okay?" he asked

"I'm fine just thinking about something."

"Sara! Sara over here!" Justin shouted

Harry and I walked over to them hand in hand. "Hi guys. This is Harry my boyfriend" I said

"Hi Harry I'm Justin and this is Sara and my friend Scarlet" Justin stood up and shook Harry's free hand.

"Wow you got yourself a hot one" Said Scarlet. She then gave me a hug and Harry one as well.

We all sat down. "So what's the big trouble that your in?"

"What are you talking about?" Asked Justin

"Well Scar called me and....." I began

"Oh that! I was kidding. I don't do drugs anymore. I drink occasionally but that it. I just wanted to catch up with you since I have seen you since.....When did I see you.......Oh right in hospital after you and Jake got shot and he died." Scarlet said

"Scarlet!" Justin warned her

Oh great she just had to bring him up. Now Harry will know. And she called me for no reason what so ever.

"Who's Jake?" Harry asked

"You two haven't had the exes talk. Well you see Harry. Sara here has had 2 boyfriends before you. One of them being Justin." Scarlet started.

Justin looked ashamed.I found out about them right after Scarlet returned from rehab. I forgave him after a while. I also forgave Scarlet. But she has kept making mistakes. She always messes it up even after I get her on the right path.

"Then she dated Jake and he was a ..." Scarlet couldn't finish her sentence

"That's enough Scar! No need to talk about the past. Why would tell me that you needed me?"

"I don't know. I hadn't seen you in a while nor Justin. And I was in town so I thought why not catch up with both of you." She said

"I know you. Why did you call me?" I asked. At this point we were completely ignoring Justin and Harry.

"Okay fine. Look at my hand and tell me what you see" She said

"I see a ring. Wait a sec... Are you engaged?!?" I asked. Is she engaged to Justin?

"Yeah" She happily clapped

"Oh my god" I hugged her. I didn't care what happened . My best friend or ex-best friend is getting married. I happy for her. "When? Who? Where? How? " I asked

We both ended up talking for 3 hours. She was getting married to a guy named Daniel. And she wanted me to be a bridesmaid. I agreed. Justin and Harry seemed to like each other. I really hope he didn't tell Harry about Jake. That's the last thing I need right now.

"We should be leaving it's getting late" Harry said

"Yeah we have dinner with my parents" I told them.

"Well say hi to you parents and brothers from both of us" Scarlet said and Justin nodded. "And tell them about my wedding"

"Will do" I said standing up and giving both of them a hug.

Harry and I made our way back to the car. "You know I didn't expect whatever happened to go like that" Harry said

"Huh?"

"I thought that you two were going to fight or something"

"Weirdly enough that how our relationship works" I laughed

Harry started driving just then the rain started falling harder. We still had 2 hour driving ahead of us in this weather. We had to be at my parents by 7 and it was 2 o'clock right now.

"Because of the rain and traffic it going to take 3 or 4 hours. Luckily we have to be there by 7" Harry said

"I know a shortcut" I told him

"Yeah which one?" He asked. And I gave him instructions.
