Sammy's p.o.v.

Everything was going great. My dad was talking to Harry. My siblings were asking questions about one direction. And no major secrets were being spilled about me. That was until my mom spoke.

Harry's p.o.v.

Sammy's mom was telling me a embarrassing story about Sammy. I was amused but she on the other hand wanted her mom to stop talking. I decided that she had suffered enough.

"Mrs. Reynolds ehm I mean Meera. Is that a British accent you have?"

"Yes Harry, I was born in London.My dad was British and mom was Indian. I moved when I was 18 and met James."

"So you are half British Sammy" I told Sammy

"I would say 1/4" She said

"Okay 1/4 British, 1/4 Indian and 2/4 American"

"Actually 1/4 American and 1/4 Canadian" James informed me "My mom is Canadian"

"Oh. Well must be interesting to have 4 grandparents with different accents"

"Yeah it is" Chloe said

I smiled at her. Sammy told me that her mom left alex and her with James and she ran away with some guy. And how Chloe saw Sammy's grandparents as her own. I felt bad for her. Her mom, Lindsey abandoned her.

"They would like you Harry" Ian said

"I hope so"

"Harry did we ever tell you how Sammy used to call her dolls...." Meera said

"Mom!" Sammy shouted stopping her mom which made me chuckle.

"I'm sorry Harry, my wife is the most talkative doctor ever" Luke laughed

"It's okay I don't mind. Now I get where this one gets it from" I said pointing towards Sammy

"Oh we never told you what are professions are" Mia said "I'm a lawyer"

"And I"m a doctor but Luke already told you that. He is a architect" added Meera

"Oh so Alex you work with than?" I asked

"Yes I do. He was my inspiration to become one." Alex told me.

"I'm a businessman. I'm sure you have heard of Williams corporation" James bragged a little

"Yes I did" I replied

We then went silent for a while and focused on our food. I was trying to talking everything in. And thinking what I could ask her parents or siblings. I was pulled from my though by a woman's voice. She was walking towards the table and talking rather loud.

"Well well would you look at that, The Williams family. Oh i'm sorry who are you married with now Meera?" The women said

"That's Lindsey" Sammy whispered in my ear. I nodded

"What are you doing here Lindsey?. After all this years" James asked

"Don't pretend you were hurt you remarried after I left I can see. Who are you?" Lindsey asked Mia

"That is Mia my wife and I actually got remarried twice" James answered for Mia

"Well lucky them" She seemed a little drunk "Oh my Alexander and Chloe White. Did you miss me?"

"It's Williams now. And why would we miss someone who didn't think for a second before abandoning us?" Alex snapped

"You didn't even look back. You never visited or called or even wrote. Why are you here after 18 years? Chloe asked

"I'm going to take the kids upstairs" Sammy informed us "Harry can you help me?"

I picked Sana and Zoey up. And followed Sammy.

"Sammy come back when the kids are asleep. And bring mr.niceass with you" Lindsey shouted after us

"Ignore her"Sammy told me.

We put the kids in the playroom. The youngest ones started playing or watching tv. The older ones started asking questions.

"Why would she return?" Asked Ian
"She looked drunk" Said Drew
"Alex and Chloe looked really angry"Said Aaron
"So did dad and my mom" Ben added
"My mom wasn't happy either"Said Brandon. He was right Meera was far from happy with Lindsey's arrival.
"What's going to happen now. Is she going to take Alex and Chloe away from us? Jay asked

Sammy ran her hand thru her hair. And she was thinking what she could tell her younger siblings.

"She can't take them away. They are over 18 and even if the weren't they are dad's kids now. Dad adopted them. Nothing's going to happen. Our parents are going to make sure that she stays away" Sammy said in one breath

Her siblings started keeping each other busy. Sammy asked Ian and Brandon to take care of them and not let them go downstairs in any case. Sammy and I on the other hand joined the fight. We were on the stairs when Sammy spoke "I'm sorry for getting you involved in this. You can go home if you want to"

"You didn't get me involved in this I did. You told me you had a bad feeling and I didn't listen to you"

"But still"

"There they are! Sammy tell your dad dad you missed me. Afterall I was the one who took care of you" Said Lindsey "Oh where are my manners. I'm Lindsey White,Sammy's 1st stepmom"

I stood still I didn't know what to do.

"Is he deaf?" She asked Chloe

"No he isn't but you are insane Lindsey. Go away you not welcome in our family" Chloe snapped

"What did I ever do to you, you little unthankful slut. Because of me you can call this your family. You are my blood not their?" Her mom snapped

Chloe got tears in her eyes. Sammy quickly hugged Chloe.

"You don't know what being a mom is. You were never there for us. Meera,Claire and Mia took care of us. Dad and Luke protected us. Even if we aren't blood related. They are our family" Alex said

Luke had called the cops. They were taking Lindsey away. Yet she kept shouting.

"They can never replace me. I'm your mother. You need me" She pulled Chloe's arm

"I have survived the last 18 years. I think I can manage"

"Don't let them take me away, please Alex" She shouted "I will come back and ruin all of you"

The cops took her away.

"Harry do you mind if I stay with Chloe tonight?"

"No not at all"

"Harry can stay in the guest room" Mia said

Alex showed me the room. And he gave me some of his clothes to wear. It was dead silence in the house. The silence after the storm.

Notes

Sammy is going to meet Anne and Gemma in the next chapter. She is also going to get the chance of her lifetime. But she has to choice Harry or her dream. Taylor Swift will be returning soon.
