Chaianne’s P.O.V
It’s been a couple days since I have got out of the hospital and one of the girls is always with me now. Christmas is in two days and all of the presents are at Harry’s. The kids and I haven’t seen or talked to Harry since the day I told him to leave the hospital. He hasn’t stopped calling me but I don’t answer because I think we need this little time apart. I have thought about it. I don’t know if I can ever fully trust him. I have to try to work things out for the kids, but if I didn’t have them I would have filed for divorce papers. The kids and I are going to surprise Harry at Anne and Robin’s on Christmas.
“Pres, I still need to get presents for Harry, Gemma, Anne, and Robin.” I said while playing with Haleigh.
“Well I think you and the kids coming back to Harry is enough but we can go shopping. I’ll call Louis and see if he will come to help us.” Pressly said. I nodded my head then place Haleigh in the bassinet and went to Colton so I could get him dressed. When I finished dressing Colton Louis came.
“Ready to go girlies and little guy?” He asked. I nodded my head and we left. The double stroller was already in the trunk so I didn’t have to worry about that. When we got in the mall I found something for everyone but Harry.
“Louis what does Harry want?” I asked him.
“He honestly just wants his family back.” Louis said seriously.
“Told you! So we can go now.” Pressly said dragging my arm forgetting that I wasn’t fully healed yet so I flinched.
“I’m sooo sorry.” She said.
“It’s ok. Lets go back to the hotel.” I said as Louis pushed the stroller and Pressly carried Kayla. When we got back the twins were asleep for the night so I put them in their bassinet and Kayla laid in bed with me. Louis and Pressly left.
“Mummy I miss daddy.” Kayla said turning towards me as I was playing with her hair.
“I know bug. So do I.” I said looking down at her. We both soon fell asleep.
Christmas Day
This morning when I woke up I looked outside and saw snow on the ground. I then called Liam so he and Kaitlin could help me put my bags and the kids in the car. We were going home first so I could put the bags inside the house. Gemma, Anne, and I have this perfectly planned so that when we got to the house Harry will already be on his way to Anne’s. I got the Twins and Kayla dressed and then I took a quick shower and got dressed myself.
“Mommy someone is at the door!” Kayla shouted as I finished curling my hair. I walked out and answered the door and saw Liam and Kaitlin.
“Hey not to sound rude but we have to hurry so I can get to my parents.” Liam said as he entered.
“Ok I’m ready any ways. If you guys want to then you can start loading the car while I put the kids in their carriers and pack up both bassinets.” I said. They nodded their heads and grabbed a couple bags. I raced into the bathroom and put my bow in my hair and then walked over to the bassinets. I put the twins in their carriers and packed the bassinets. Liam and Kaitlin came back and grabbed Haleigh and Colton while I grabbed the last two bags and Kayla’s hand. I checked out and then we got to the car. They followed me back to the house to help me bring the bags in. once all the bags were in the house I put all the kids back in the car and I drove to Anne’s house.
“Mummy where are we going?” Kayla asked.
“We are going to see Nana, pop-pop, Cam, Daddy, and Aunt Gemma.” I said.
“Yay!!” she shouted making me laugh. The drive there took almost an hour and all three kids fell asleep. When I pulled into the driveway I saw Harry’s car. I parked in front of the house and texted Gemma.
Lil Sis: Hey we are out here. Need your help!
Big Sis: ok I’m on my way out! :)
I locked my phone and put it in my packet and waited for Gemma to come out. When she came out I stepped out of the car and I got Colton and Kayla out while Gemma got Haleigh out.
“Hey how are you feeling?” She asked me.
“I could always be better. These three goofballs have kept me busy.” I said as we got to the door. Gemma nodded her head.
“So how are we going to do this?” I asked.
“Well I’ll walk in and saw look who I found. Easy as that, but I need Kayla to be quit.” Gemma said looking at Kayla. Kayla nodded her head and zipped her lips. We walked in and Gemma closed the door.
“Look who I found while going to get mum’s present.” Gemma said as we walked into the living room. Everyone but Harry looked up. They all smiled and came and hugged me.
“Harry aren’t you going to see who it is?” Robin asked.
“If it’s not Chai, Kayla, Colton, or Haleigh I don’t want to know who it is.” Harry said still looking down. Gemma and I rolled my eyes.
“It just so happens to be all of us.” I say smiling. Harry’s head shot up from the sound of my voice. When he saw that it was actually me he stood up and smiled.
“What are you doing here?” Harry asked walking towards me.
“I couldn’t miss our first Christmas together as a family.” I said as Harry hugged me.
“I’m so sorry babe. I don’t know what I was thinking.” Harry said.
“We’ll talk about this later. Right now lets just have fun.” I said as Harry picked Kayla up.
“Daddy!!” Kayla shouted as Harry hugged her.
“Hey buggie. I missed you.” He said kissing her forehead. She then hopped off his lap and ran to Robin. “Gemma I would like to see my other daughter.” Harry said. Gemma stood up and brought Haleigh to Harry.
“I have a question I would like to ask Gemma.” Cameron said standing up and walking over to Gemma. Robin and I were the only two that knew what was going on.
“Gemma Anne Styles. You are on crazy, fun loving chick. I didn’t realize how boring my life was until I met you. You are a great aunt and sister. It would make me the happiest man on earth if you would be my bride.” Cameron finished getting down on one knee in front of her. Anne, Gemma, and I were all crying. Gemma couldn’t speak so she just nodded her head yes. We all cheered.
“Well welcome to the family.” Harry said bro hugging Cameron.
“I think its present time!” Gemma said walking over and getting the presents that she brought.
“These are for Kayla.” She said placing 5 boxes in front of Kayla. She got Kayla a new dress, a necklace, and many toys. Once everyone got and opened their presents, well except the kids and I hadn’t gotten our presents from Harry yet, we decided to just watch the Christmas parade and movies. During “The Polar Express” Harry asked me if we could talk upstairs and I said sure. I followed Harry up and when we got to his old room we both sat down on the bed.
“Babe I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to. I love you and only you.” He said looking at me.
“We’ll have to work through this. You’ll have to gain my trust, but I know we can do it. Love prevails anything.” I said looking up at him. He bent down and kissed me.
“I love you.” He said when he pulled me into a hug.
“I love you too. Maybe we should go back with the others. Plus it’s the polar express which we both know is my favorite Christmas movie.” I said standing up and taking hold of Harry’s hand to pull him up also. He stood up and pulled me into another kiss and then we began to walk. When we opened that door Robin, Anne, Gemma, and Cameron all fell onto the floor. Harry and I looked at each other with raised eyebrows.
“Did you hear everything you wanted to?” Harry asked laughing. They all stood up and brushed themselves off.
“If all four of you are up here who is watching the kids?” I asked.
“Well I told Robin to.” Anne said.
“I told Gemma to.” Robin said putting his hands up.
“I told Cameron to.” Gemma said pointing at her fiancé. Cameron shrugged his shoulders nervously.
“Well maybe we should all go down there now.” I said walking down with the others behind me. I looked at all three kids and saw that they were all asleep. The movie started over so we decided to watch it again. Harry and I cuddled under a blanket together while Gemma did the same with Cameron and Anne did the same with Robin. Later that night we had Christmas dinner and then we all left. Gemma and I agreed for her and Cameron to come over to mine and Harry’s. When Harry, the kids, and I got back to the house we gave each of them a bath and put their pajamas on and then put them to bed. Once they were in bed I took a shower. When I got out and was in my pajamas I found Harry lying in bed in just his boxers. I began to walk out the room when Harry spoke up.
“Where are you going babe?” Harry asked me. I took a deep breathe then turned around and looked at him.
“I refuse to sleep in the bed that you slept with her in. also I think it’s better if we maybe don’t share a bed for a while.” I said. I saw Harry’s smile fade but he nodded his head. I walked to the guest room next to our room. I was lying in bed staring at the celling for what seemed like forever. I looked over at the clock and saw that it was 2 A.M. I rolled over onto my side and cuddled the panda that Harry won me that day at the fair. I began to cry remembering when everything seemed so simple between us.
“Babe are you crying?” I heard Harry ask from the door way. I turned and looked at him and once he saw the tears he closed the door and came and picked me up off the bed and sat back down then placed me on his lap.
“Why are you crying?” He asked me.
“Everything was so simple before.” I said looking up at him. He nodded his head.
“I know but we’ll get through this together.” Harry said holding me closer.
“I don’t know if I can.” I replied while still crying.
“Are you having second thoughts about us? I can’t lose you.” He said tightening his grip on me.
“No I’m not. I just know I’m not strong enough for this.” I said looking up at him.
“Babe don’t worry. I’m here to be your rock. Go to sleep and everything will be better in the morning. I promise.” Harry said kissing my forehead. I nodded my head and closed my eyes. I soon fell asleep wrapped in his arms where I feel somewhat safe.
