Harry POV:

I sat up and looked at her. She's right; I told her I would tell her later on.

"Alright. Where do you want me to start?" She closed her eyes, "from the beginning."

I sighed and began: (A/N: the italicized is him talking in his mind in the flashback and their actions, the bold is the talking, and what’s in quotation marks is the present harry talking.)

"Well before I officially start, just know our relationship isn't real. I met her when Simon made us go to a Justin Bieber concert. She was backstage with Selena Gomez and I couldn't take my eyes off of her. She smiled a beautiful red lipsticked smile and I smiled back. The lads' girlfriends, Taylor, Selena, and Justin joined us for breakfast the next morning at IHOP. Taylor sat by me and we exchanged numbers. We stayed in La for 3 more days; Taylor and I spent every day together. We did it all in private or near private places because we didn't need all the publicity. 2 weeks later, she told me they were coming to London and we hung out for 2 weeks straight. I noticed that she wanted to go to places a little more public than my liking but I didn't care because I liked her, a lot. It wasn't until we were approaching New Years that I found out. I made it my own personal challenge to never kiss Taylor in public; I always only hugged her or kissed her cheek but that's normal for Europeans. I didn't want to kiss her because the few times we did kiss in public it ended up in a magazine and that's embarrassing. However I wondered why management never called me in about that. Then about 4 days before Christmas they finally called me in. I walked in with and saw Taylor sitting there. She kissed me on the lips, hugged me, and sat back down. Simon and she told me that basically I had been pretty boring with Taylor and needed to spice it up. I was confused why Simon was here and what did they mean by that.

Simon: Harry, you and Taylor are dating correct? Then you need to show people that by kissing her public, taking her out on public dates, tweet about her, and put pictures of each other. She does it why don't you?
Harry: It's not that important to me to have a public relationship.
Taylor looked at him: He doesn’t get it.
“But I didn't know what there was to get. He then stood up and gave me a speech about it.”

Simon: Imagine it Taylor Swift is now dating One Directions' Harry Styles! The fandom will rise, sales will rise, everybody will be happy but we won't accomplish that without you. You need to give her a big present on Christmas and you need to kiss her on New Year’s.
I recited his speech perfectly. I would never forget that. I looked at them both confused.
Harry: What do you mean sales and fandom will rise? I'm not dating her for that. I'm dating her because I genuinely like her. I said getting a little angry.
Simon: Well if you must know, Taylor and I talked about a year ago and came to the agreement that you two would make amazing news together. She went to the party and flirted her way to your heart. In turn, I promised her that she could write a song about you and you can do something mean to her as well.
I hung my mouth in full anger. At first I looked at Simon and then her. So our relationship wasn’t real? I really liked you and you fucking played for a new hit song?!
She calmly said: Yes, but I do like you a little.
I attempted to walk out but was stopped by Simon’s security, Harry get back here. We have to discuss some details.
Just text it to me. Can I leave now? With that the bodyguard moved out of the way and I left the building.


“Is that why you danced with me? To make her jealous?” Demetria asked me. “What? Never! I danced with you because you’re a beautiful girl and you excite me. I didn’t even think about Taylor when I was with you.” She looked me in the eyes and pulled out a tired smile. “Can we sleep now?” I laid down and she soon followed. I pulled her closer to me and held her around her waist. I snuggled into her neck and kissed it goodnight
