Chapter 25
Gabby’s POV:
I sat against the door of the bathroom with my head in my hands. I just needed a way to get out of this house, to get out of this city.
“Gabriella!” I heard my mother call from the kitchen.
“Coming!” I yelled back between sobs.
I got up and looked in the mirror. I quickly dabbed my eyes with a tissue and put on some cover up to mask the redness in my cheeks. I ran down the stairs to the kitchen. I saw my mother sitting at the table while my father ordered lunch from a pizza place.
“What is that?” I asked my mother. I gestured to the envelope that was in her hand.
“This is from Boston College, Gabs.”
“It’s my letter?”
She nodded, “Open it.”
I took the envelope out of her hand and opened it. I scanned the first sentence, “Dear Ms. West,
The administration at Boston College is happy to inform you that you have been selected as a member of our 2018 graduating class.”
I didn’t need to read any further, “I got in.” I said quietly.
“What Gibs?” My father asked as he took a step forward.
“I got into Boston College.” I smiled. I had worked so hard to get into BC. I couldn’t believe I had actually done it.
My mother got up from the table and swung her arms around me, “I am so very proud of you.”
I hugged her back, “Thank you mom.”
She stepped back and my father stepped in. He took me in a tight embrace, “You are a star, Gibs.”
I didn’t hug him as tightly as I hugged my mother, “Thanks.” I kept my voice stern. No excitement, no disappointment, no nothing.
He stepped back and smiled. “I ordered wraps!”
“Wraps?” I questioned.
“Yeah, from your favorite pizza place! I got you a buffalo chicken wrap, I got your mother a meatball sub, and I got myself a chicken ceaser wrap.”
I nodded, “Thank you.”
I walked out of the kitchen, “I’m going to call Izzy to see if she got her letter.”
My parents nodded as I left the room.
I called Liam, “Hey, remember when we talked about how you all applied to BC?”
“Yeah?”
“I just got my letter.”
“I just walked into the apartment, hold on.”
I waited about two more minutes on hold, “Hey, Gabs?” He sounded crushed.
“Yeah?” I asked, I was very worried about what he was about to say.
“I got in!” I heard the excitement in his voice.
“Oh my god! Let’s celebrate tonight!”
“Yes! By the way, Harry got in too!”
Liam didn’t know that Harry hated me, and that Harry was slowly, but surely, destroying me.

i know it's a short update :( i am just so so busy that i was lucky to have time to write this chapter! i should be posting double updates this weekend i think ;) so look forward to that! i love you all and we are so close to 100, i may have a surprise for you once we hit 100, so the sooner the better ;)i love you all <3
