Gabby’s POV:
“Well, excuse me for thinking that you slept with that girl!”
“Why does it always come back to that right now?” He yelled.
“Because that’s the problem!” I yelled back.
“Why don’t you believe me?” His voice got softer.
“Like I said, it looked very suspicious.” I took a step closer to him.
“Do you really want to know what happened?” He questioned.
“Yeah. The truth too.” I crossed my arms, trying to be intimidating.
He sighed, “I took her upstairs and I really was ready to fuck her. I really was. Then we started, but I could only think about you.”
“Ew.” I interrupted.
He shook his head, “Not like that. I thought about how you would hate me forever.”
“Why should it matter what I think?”
He looked down at the ground, “I also knew that, if I slept with her, that nothing would happen between me and you.”
I uncrossed my arms and walked to the other side of his room, where he was.
I brought my hands to his cheeks and brought his head level to mine, “I believe you.”
He shook his head, “No you don’t, you pity me, so that’s why you believe me.”
“I don’t pity you.”
He pulled his head out of my hands, “I think you should leave.”
“What?”
“Did I stutter?”
“You’re the one who asked me to stay…”
“Now I’m telling you to leave.”
“Fine Harry, I’ll go, but don’t expect me to stick around for you anymore.”
I went to the door and opened it and slammed it behind me. I was so done with Harry being hot and cold. I got outside of his apartment and realized I had no ride home. This was just perfect.
I pulled out my phone, “Dad?”
“Yeah, Gibs?”
I told him not to call me that. “I need you to pick me up.”
“Is everything okay?” The worry in his voice was evident.
“I will tell you everything when you get here okay?”
“Sure, Gib. I will leave now.” I gave him the address and hung up the phone. I sat on the steps that led to the front door of the apartment.
About ten minutes later, my father showed up. He must have sped because it took Liam and I about seventeen minutes to get here.
I got into the car, “What are you doing here?” My father said right away.
“This is Liam’s apartment.”
His eyes went wide, “Excuse me?”
I shook my head as he started to drive away, “Not like that.”
“Then like what, Gabriella?”
He never called me that, “Dad, he went upstairs to change and I waited in the car. Harry came home and he was very drunk. I helped Liam get him upstairs. Harry wasn’t feeling well, so I said I would stay. Liam went out with Niall. Izzy picked up her car. Harry asked me to leave, so I did.”
“Why did he ask you to leave?”
“Because, he didn’t want me there.” I looked down at my hands.
“Why though?”
“Because he doesn’t like me.”
“Why not?”
“Why are you asking so many questions?” I snapped.
“I am trying to understand this!”
“Harry is hot and cold okay. It’s just the way he is.”
“Do you like him?”
“No, well, I don’t know.”
“Either you like him or you don’t.”
“I don’t know.”
“Whatever.” He sighed. I think he was done trying to figure this out.
I let a tear stream down my face.
My father looked over at me, “Gibs, why are you crying?”
“No one ever stays with me.”
“What do you mean?”
“You left, Quinton left, Harry’s given up on me. You have all given up on me.”
“I did not give up on you. And, Quinton lost out on a great girl. Harry too.”
“You left me. I bet mom would have left me too if she could.”
“Don’t say that.”
“You know it’s true.”
We pulled into our driveway and I got out of the car and slammed the door shut. I ran up the walkway and opened the front door. I ran up to my bathroom and locked the door. I needed to get away. I just needed this all to end.

i am so sorry i didnt get to update yesterday :( i had homework and i was visiting my brother at college, but here is the newest update :) i will most likely update again tomorrow, if i dont have too much homework or if i can get another chapter written tonight! :) i love you all <33 i never thought i would get almost 100 people reading this story, thank you guys so much <33
