Chapter 13
Gabby’s POV:
I cant believe I just told him to kiss me. I could feel the cold metal from his lip ring. His breath tasted like mint. I pulled away first, our foreheads were touching. My breathing was abnormally fast.
“Why did you want me to kiss you?” Harry’s voice was almost a whisper.
I shrugged, “I don’t know.”
He smirked, “You do know, and you just don’t want to tell me.”
I smiled a little, “I couldn’t help myself.”
“But, you didn’t want to be the one to kiss me?”
I shook my head.
“That sounds so stupid.” He remarked.
I took a step back and tried to look offended. I swatted at his arm, “It does not!”
He laughed, “Ouch, that hurt!” He rubbed his arm, I knew he was trying to give me a hard time.
“Do you think Liam is wondering where we are?” I asked.
He shrugged, “I don’t know.”
“Why did you even bring her?” I had to know.
“Are we seriously going to bring Jessica up again?” He rolled his eyes.
“I have to know why you brought her.”
He sighed, “I wanted to make you jealous.”
I let my mouth hang open.
Harry stepped closer and took his hand to close my mouth, “Don’t look at me like that.”
I shook my head, “We should get back to them. By the way, where are your other members?”
“Niall, Louis, and Zayn? They’re all here. Zayn is with some girl, Perrie. Louis is with some girl, Eleanor. And Niall is with other members of our gang.”
I nodded my head, “We should get back to Liam and Jessica.”
I started to walk and he followed behind me. When we got back to our seats, Niall was with Liam and Jessica was nowhere to be found, which I wasn’t upset about. I took Jessica’s seat as Harry stood next to me.
He looked up to Niall, “Hey mate. Where have you been?”
Niall shrugged, “Hanging out.”
Liam interrupted our conversation, “Where did you two go?”
Harry looked at me for help, “I just needed fresh air, and Harry came to make sure I was okay.”
Liam smiled and nodded. I felt bad lying, but I didn’t even know what just happened.
The game finally got over and Niall asked Liam for a ride home. Liam said he would drive him and then he asked where Jessica was.
Harry shrugged, “I don’t know, let’s just go.”
Liam nodded and we all got in the car. What if I was the one that wasn’t there? Would Harry leave without me?
The ride home was awkward and silent. Liam pulled into my driveway first. I thanked him for a ride and got out of the car. I heard the door open and I would recognize those shoe sounds from anywhere. Harry. He was walking up my walkway behind me. I slowed down to let him catch up.
We got to my door, I had no idea what was going to happen now.
“Bye, Harry.”
I put my hand on the door to open it, “Wait, Gabriella.”
I looked back at him; he was looking at the ground, “I don’t know what I’m supposed to do now. I don’t know whether to kiss you or leave.”
I shrugged, “Do what you want, Harry.”
He nodded his head, “Goodnight.” He turned around and walked down the walkway. That wasn’t the right thing for him to do.
