I woke up to the sound of my alarm in the morning. It was Monday already. I put on my outfit and slumbered downstairs, literally with my eyes closed as I bumped into Louis.

"Whoa, watch where you're going missy" He said laughing at me.

We had a small breakfast and left for school with Zayn. I was sleeping through the periods and when it was lunch, Elena and I went to our lockers to put our stuff in it.

"Praise the lord for lunch breaks" I said as I locked my locker. "Holy shit!" I yelled as I felt something cold as hell on my back.

Then Elena held my arm and rushed me to the girls bathroom. Bam! Mermaids.

"Ouch" I said as I fell on my elbow.

Thank god it was empty but then someone tried to open the door so Elena hit it with her tail.

"Girls let me in, it's me" He said as he tried to open the door.

It was Liam. We both looked at each other in disapproval so Elena hit the door harder as I looked at myself in the huge mirror. My scales really matched my eyes. Then I was distracted from admiring myself by Elena who was sliding back with Liam bursting in.

His face was priceless. He was just turning his head, looking at me then at Elena repeatedly. He was dumbfolded but Elena snapped him back to reality.

"Liam, we're still Ali and El" She said trying to make him believe this was okay.

"At least help us now" I sighed.

"Starting with the door" Elena added, making him to close the door.

He just looked at us confused, poor guy. The shock on his face was still there.

"We'll explain everything later but for now just keep the door closed" I said firmly before turning to Elena.

She dried us both and yet again, Liam's face was priceless when we turned back to human. We all agreed to meet up after school so we could take Liam to the moon pool; where it all started. I tried to ignore Harry, Fabian and Jesse the whole day so I could focus on the mermaid thing. Thank god the school ended and we were on our way to the Elesmere Port.

"What are we doing back here?" Liam asked us confused.

We both giggled and didn't answer him. Elena was leading the way as I didn't remember the entrance. Then she jumped into the hole.

"Whoa! We're going down there?!" He asked me in shock and I could feel the tension in his voice.

"Oh Liam, don't be a whimp" I said jumping, holding his arm.

As we were standing beside the moon pool, he was just admiring the place. Then Elena and I decided to jump in the pool. We put our arms on a rock so our upper body was out of the water.

"Wow girls, this is so weird" He said looking at us.

Then Elena told him what happened as I just made sarcastic comments to her story.

"Guys I'm hungry" Elena said as he hold her tummy.

I sighed, knowing this would happen.

"Liam, pull me out will you?" I said as I put my hands up.

He did before he pulled Elena too.

"Wow those tails are heavy!" He said as he took a deep breath.

I just glared at him and turned away as Elena started giving him a piece of her mind.

I reached over to my bag to pull out my lunch and gave it to Elena.

She shared it with Liam and we were just drinking coke as he asked us if we had any powers. Smart guy, I said to myself and nodded. Elena turned his coke into jelly making him playing with it like a child.

"Do. That. Again" He said after he turned the coke back to liquid by playing with it.

"Wait there's more" Elena said looking at me.

I grinned and put my hand up. He expected something from me but something touched his back. He turned back and saw a water tentacle.

"Holy- You control water?" He yelled so I made a huge amount of water go up in the air. "Awesome! You're like a water bender" He added laughing, making us laugh too.

He said we were amazing but Elena said he'd think we were even better after a couple of minutes.

I made a ball of water and looked at Elena, knowing what she'd do. She evaporated it and looked back at me. I took some amount of water and got it in the shape of a dolphin and put my other hand out to freeze it. We talked for some time then Elena said we should be getting back home as it was getting dark.

"But how am I gonna get out?" Liam asked confused, making Elena and me smile wickedly.

She knew what I was thinking. We both held Liam's hands and I said he should hold his breath before we jumped in. We swam to the shore in no time. He was amazed. Elena dried as all and we dropped her at her place. Liam then insisted on dropping me too.

"You'll keep our secret, right Liam?" I asked as I got out of his car.

"Of course Ali, you can trust me" He said getting out too.

I thanked him and we said our goodbyes. After I got in the house I was welcomed by an angry Louis and a worried Harry.

"Oh crap" I said turning around hoping I could make a run for it.
