Mel POV
In the morning, as Mel hugged one of the pillows closer to her and sighed deeply. She looked carefully at the contract that her sister had signed without reading it first.As mad as Mel was at her sister, she just couldn’t bring herself to sell Lilli out.
But her main issue because she had no clue how the hell she’d inform her friends, her parents, her grandmother. She was the one who would end up in a relationship with a cold-blooded crazy man for three years. All for the sake of family, God help her because she had no way out.She tried calling her sister. No response- the phone went straight to voice mail.
Ok let examine the facts, she thought. I don’t want to marry that cold reptile of a man and to be honestthat cold reptile of a man is probably the most sexy man I have ever laid eyes on, and in my situation if he showed any speck of warmth, I would allowed myself to actually fall in love with him. But warmth is not a word I’ll used to describe him.I still want to murder my sister, so her staying away is the best opinion for now.
Lilli was bolted the moment she had the chance to avoid being married to Mr Styles. Now Mel had a choice to make. Agree to marry the hot (physically) but cold like a fish (emotionally) man, or prepared to send her sister to jail because there was no way harry wouldn’t sue Lilli for taking his money and breaching the contract.
Now if Mel chose to marry harry, and finally she was going toned to tell her family. But how was she going to tell them especially grans. But most importantly what would their reaction to this news be? She was going back and forth with her thought process.
Mel headed to the office, to finalised most her case for a child who lost both parent in a car crash. Today would be Aries’ first trial because her parents left no legal guidance’s in case something was to happen.
After the hearing, she had to draft some potential foster parents for Arie. She had also written the contract for harry to sign. She now really needs a distraction for everything and work has provided that for her.
Mel didn’t think that scheduling a work happy hour on her wedding night seemed entirely appropriate.
