Madi's POV:

i was so nervous. my palms were starting to get sweaty.

but i had to tell him. gosh, i honestly want to be with him. but, i don't know him. and i don't trust him. i need to get to know him better before i reveal these feelings to him. i don't want to get hurt. and i also don't wanna hurt him.

as we were walking through the hall to the living room i could tell that harry was examining the place. taking in every detail. he makes the cutest face when he is focusing. stop it and focus!

"do you want anything to drink Harry?" i ask him trying to break the awkward silence.

"no i am fine, but thanks." he says flashing he a dimply smile.

i have the urge to just poke his dimple. i can't stop it!

"alright." i say to him as we sit on my couch.

he continues to examine the place. "you have a lovely home, Madi" he turned to me and said with another dimple smile.

"thanks, Harry. El helped me set it all up.... Anyways i want to talk to you.." i said in a bit of a serious tone

"alright, love. i am all ears." he says giving me his full attention.

"i just wanted to say that i genuinely like you. and i really would like to get to know you and become friends with you. not just for the sake of our friends so things wouldn't be awkward when we all hung out. i want to get to know you and be friends with you because you really seem like a great guy and i had fun with you when we were together. so can we be friends?" i explain and asked him hopefully.

he remained silent for a few seconds before smiling back at me.

"of course we can be friends. i like you too. and you are right. i do have fun when i am with you. so, it would be my pleasure to be your friend." he said smiling at me.

i couldn't help but smile back at him.

"great! so do you wanna hang out here for a little? maybe watch a movie?" i asked him again with hope.

his eyes seemed to light up when i asked him. i could tell earlier when i was explaining how i wanted to be just friends with him that his eyes seemed to grow sad inside. as if what i was saying wasn't what he wanted to hear. but now, i could tell that he was happy that i asked him to stay.

"sure, i-" his phone vibrated before he could finish. he sighed before turning his attention back to me. "i'm sorry Madi. but Louis and the guys want me to go back to them. Who know's what has happened since i left them" he laughed to try and lighten the mood.

"oh that's fine. we can hang out some other time." i said while getting up and heading towards the door with Harry.

"definitely. I would love that." he said smiling down at me.

"great! so i'll talk to you soon then." i said smiling back at him.

"for sure." he leaned down and kissed my cheek. "bye love." and with that he went out the door.

i closed the door behind him and leaned against it. my cheek was tingling where he had kissed it. oh how i wish it was my lips that he had kissed and not my cheek. what what am i saying?! we are just friends. we need to take this one step at a time before i even think like that about him! i am just glad that he is now a friend. maybe once i do get to know him better he'll ask me on a date... a girl can only dream.
