Madi's POV:

i woke up this morning feeling different. i don't know why.

while i was getting ready to head off to work, i couldn't stop thinking about last night.

Harry was surely different than i had thought. he seemed so genuine. i could see his eyes light up with he would talk about his family. His smile was so adorable, i just wanted to poke his dimples. his laugh was adorable also, i couldn't help but smile at him when he laughed. he really was just a normal guy. and he was all i could think about.

once i got to work we had a meeting. so i took my usual spot next to Macy as our manager explains to us the new lines and who should model which one.

"you seem different..." Macy whispered to me

"yeah? i feel different" i whisper back to her with a smile

"oh boy i know that smile! you met someone!" she whisper yelled at me

"no i did not!" i objected.

"or really? i think you did. you have this kinda of glow" she presses on

"a glow? i think you are going crazy." i laugh at her

"maybe... so what did you do last night?" she changed the subject, she must've known i didn't want to keep arguing about it.

"i went to dinner with a friend. no big deal." i whisper trying to focus back on the meeting

"oh did you go with another one of the girls?" she didn't seem too curious, honestly

"no. i went to dinner with harry." i say nonchalantly

"HARRY WHO?!" now she seemed interested

"Harry Styles. why are you freaking out? it was just dinner!" i don't see the big deal

"oh my gosh! ok so on saturday isabelle ran into him at nandos. they got to talking and she asked for his number and if he wanted to hang out sometime. BUT he said that he couldn't hang out or take her number because he already is into this other girl and he didn't want to ruin his chances with her!" she said excitedly and without taking a single breathe.

who does harry like? if he liked someone else why would he ask me to dinner if he didn't wanna ruin his chances with that girl?

"ok.... so what are you saying?" i'm sure she say something ridiculous now.

"i think he fancies you!"

"no he doesn't. we went to dinner last night because he is best friends with Louis and i am best friends with El and they are dating. so he wanted us to get to know each other and be friends too. We are just friends. Honestly, i don't think i am the girl you are talking about" i tried to reason with her

"honestly i think you are! you can deny it all you want! but when he admits that he has feelings for you, i will be waiting her to say i told you so!" she seemed proud that she figured out the mystery.

but she didn't. harry didn't like me like that. or does he?

no he doesn't Madi. he was just being polite.

"whatever you say Macy" i smile at her and turn around to focus on the meeting. again.

but now i couldn't. i couldn't stop thinking about what Macy had said what happened between Harry and Isabelle on saturday... i was with harry that morning... maybe Macy was right. No! she couldn't be. i mean a lot can happen within a few days, so maybe he ruined things with that other girl and so he decided to be my friend...? ugh, all this thinking is giving me a headache..

Harry's POV:

it has been a long morning. right now we are on our way to our interview with Allan Car on the Chatty Man. i always have a good laugh when we do interview with him

"alright you guys are up!" one of the stage hands told us

"let's do this!" Louis shouted as he walked infront of us all.

"It's One Direction!" Allan cheered and came over to great us.

as the interview went on we talked about the album, what to expect on tour, our movie that came out.

"alright so enough of the usual boring chit chat. what of you boys are still single?" allan asked us

only me and niall raised our hands so he knows

"oh really Harry? you are single?" he asked he in a mischievous tone

"um yes i am." i answer causually

"well then would you like to explain these pictures to me please?" he points to the tv screen behind us

and on the screen were pictures of me and madi on our dinner date last night. i could feel myself start to blush a little

"it doesn't look like you are single based on these pictures, Harry. It looks like to me that you went out on a date last night with Madison Hollingsworth." he said with a smirk across his face

"uh, we were just out having a friendly dinner" i tried to lie

"mhm. and did you take a trip down Madison's avenue?"

i laughed you hide my face

"um no. we're just friends." i tried to cover again

"mhm. whatever you say. i don't think by the look on your face that you two are 'just friends'" he used air quoted around the words just friends

from then on, Allan had made fun of all the boys so i didn't feel the most picked on anymore.

once we arrived back to mine and Louis' apartment everyone was relaxing on the couch playing Xbox.

"Harry, you never told us how you date went last night" Zayn said as he was focusing on the tv screen

"i don't think it was a date." i said in a low tone "but it went really well."

"what do you mean you don't think it was a date?" liam pressed on

"well i think it was a date, but if you were to talk to Madi, she probably would say that it wasn't." i said a bit said

"well you did say that you wanted to go on the dinner to become friends with her. that's porbably why should would say that" Louis explained. he was right, of course.

"i thought you liked this girl Harry? i mean we could tell when we saw the pictures and how you acted at the interview today." Niall added

he was right. i do like her. i like her too much though to risk losing her before i even have her. i guess i should have taken a risk and called it a date. maybe she would have agreed. or maybe she would not want to have anything to do with me.... that thought made me sad. i could tell that the lads had noticed my mood change.

"Mate, if you like this girl i think you should ask her out again. but not on a friendly dinner. Ask her out on an actual date this time." Liam said to me as he wrapped an arm around my shoulder to comfort me.

"your right guys. i do like her. i just don't want to freak her out cause we haven't known each other long." i tried to explain to them

"well sometimes you gotta take a risk!" Louis said cheerfully

just then my phone went buzzed. as i looked at it i hoped it was Madi. and it was.

i saw your interview today...

*to madi-
oh yeah? and...?

*from madi-
i was wondering if we could talk?

*to madi-
ok? want me to come over so we can?

*from madi-
sure.

*to madi-
alright. i'll be there in 10

"who are you texting harry?" niall asked while focusing on the tv screen

"it was Madi. and now i gotta go lads." i said getting up and heading towards the door

"be safe! use protection!" louis shouted at me as i left the apartment and shutting the door.

as i made my way to Madi's apartment i couldn't help but get nervous. what did she want to talk about? did i say something the offended her in the interview? WAIT... did she not like that she was seen in public with me and that i was asked about in on live tv? was she mad about what i said? so many question were running through my head.

as i pulled up to the street infront of her apartment complex, most of my nerves have calmed down and butterflies started to erupt in my stomach. wow. my feelings are on overload right now. i am so nervous and excited all at the same time.

as i walk up to her door i knock on it quickly. i am to anxious now.

as she opened her door, there she stood. the most beautiful person i have ever seen. she was wearing just a simple outfit. a pair of jeans and a old rolling stones t-shirt. but she took amazing in it.

"hello harry. come on in." she said to me with a smile while moving out of the way so i could make my way in.

i hope my nerves won't get the better of me now...
