As I walked back tothe classroom and sat, I could feel daggers shot at me.
I gulped down my saliva and sighed. "That girl has been spilling out wrong things about me and him. What should I do now?" I thought. Just when a voice interrupted my thoughts. I looked up.

"You should stay away from him, nerd." Jade said seriously. I could see my friends coming up to me.

"What's your problem, Jade?" Olive demanded. I gripped her arm.

"Um, its nothing Olive. Nothing." I answered her. she didn't seem persuaded.

"Eh? Nothing? Just admit that you are clearly flirting with Harry!" she yelled.

"I wasn't flirting." I said. she laughed wickedly.

"Stick that up to your nose. And don't ever think that he'll like someone like you, cause your too far from someone like him." she teased and smirked then walked away.

"Ow...that hurt." I whispered, touching my heart. My friends laughed a bit but then turned serious.

"Be careful next time, okay?" Dawn begged. I nodded and smiled.

"Don't stay near with that Harry boy first, I think they were just jealous, Winter." Nicole teased. I smiled a bit.

"Jealous....you should make them more jealous then." Lady said. My eyes widened.

Anne nudged Lady's arm and she just shrugged. Anyways, just tell us if they ever do something horrible to you." Lady said.

"Girls, I can do this on my own. Its not a big deal...they just misunderstood." I said.

They all shook their heads and I sighed. During lunch break, I sat on the cafeteria and ate some fries and a vegetable meal. Mom stuffed it in my bag earlier.

I took a bite and choked. " Ugh, the taste seems a bit disgusting." I told myself and continued eating.

"Are you okay? You don't seem to be loving your food." a voice said. When I saw who it was, I began looking around the cafeteria. Gladly, the gossip girls weren't here.

"Oh..yeah, veggies. Mom wants me to have a healthy diet." I said and smiled.

He laughed cutely. "Your so cute when you smile." he complimented. I felt flattened like a dough.

"Thank You." I managed to speak.

"No problem, and yeah, its really true." he said. I blushed very hard and he noticed! Uh oh...he looked concerned.

"Uh..I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to flatter you or something. Did I creeped you out?" he said, almost laughing. I'm glad that wasn't awkward.

"Nope, uh..you know, I'm just not used to that. Haven't tried someone tell me that before..." I said. (Shucks! why did I say that?!)I thought.

He nodded with his lips pouting. So charming...he began to chew his burger. I proceeded to eat my own banter and we talked about small things.

After lunch, we both went back together in our classroom. When I was about to go inside, I heard a whisper behind me.

"See that? she's really owning him. what a fool..." A girl said.

"Shh! I think she heard you!" another said. Then I faced them and they smirked guiltily.

"Backstabbers"....I whispered to myself and went inside.


"The skull or cranium is the upper part of the skeleton. Then here is the sternum, part of the axial skeletal division." our Biology taught while pointing to the parts of the skeleton model.

I lied my head on the table, feeling tired and sleepy. My eyes were like dropping.

"Excuse me, Mrs. Laptonne. Would you mind sleeping outside?" the teacher angrily asked. I shook my head, embarrassed.

"All right. Sit up straight everyone." she ordered us all. That was embarrassing, Harry saw it! Ugh...


After Biology, I walked by my own back to our classroom. Then someone nudged my arm.

"Feeling good while ago? You shouldn't just have awoken." Dalia teased in a mean manner. I frowned.

"See ya, loser!" she teased again, running up to her friends.

"Looks like I'm not so popular with the popular students...anyway, I don't care." I told myself.

"Winter! your paper fell!" I heard someone running up to me, and saw it was Harry.
he handed me out my assignment paper. I was surprised.

"Oh my! Thank You very much! I don't know what to do if I ever los this! Thank You!" I yelled happily.

"Glad to help!" he answered and smiled. I smiled back. The temperature always gets warmer everytime I'm close to him. What is this feeling? I thought, confused.


Now class, you'll be grouped into pairs and will sing a song for tomorrow. Our music teacher said. I was paired with Pearl, gladly. And Harry....well, he was paired with the queen bee of our classroom, Vanessa. she was all smiles right now...pathetic.

"Don't mind them Winter, it'll just pass away right after tomorrow anyway." Pearl assured. I flinched.

"Huh? Oh, its not what you think. I was just staring at them...you don't have to tell me that. I laughed softly. she smiled.

"I know you like him. right?" she asked, tickling my waist. I laughed.

"No! No! No!" I argued slowly, still laughing a bit. she laughed with me then patted my head.

"I admit you two look cute together. don't you know?" she teased. I blushed at the comment.

"Oh..stop that..I said, follding my eyebrows.

"If I were your mom, I would approve your relationship with him. But even if as a friend, right now, I'll be super happy for you." she whispered. I laughed and hit her arm softly.

"I said stop it! Your making me blush you know...."I told her softly. she covered her mouth with her hand to prevent from laughing so hard. I folded my arms and pouted at her.

"Pearl." I pronounced her name.

"Yes"? she asked. I sighed.

"Need some help there?" I asked. she laughed again then turned serious.

"Nope." she said in a sarcastic way.

While Pearl wrote the song's lyrics, I glanced carefully at Harry and Vanessa. They were so happy together. And Vanessa even hit his arm a lot. he would just laugh them out. Then I heard a word.....that tore me.

"Your really beautiful. You should hear that more often." Harry complimented her and she looked as if she was staring at a thousand shining stars.

"Thanks." Your really cute too. she complimented back in a sweet voice. I rolled my eyes.

"Thanks." I heard Harry replied.

"I guess he tells that to everyone then, maybe I really wasn't cute at all. Maybe he just said it to make me feel better." I thought.

"Sparksfly is done!" Pearl yelled at me while waving the paper. I grabbed it and took a peek. As I scanned below, a line caught my eye.

"Cause I see, sparks fly, whenever you smile, get me with those green eyes baby as the lights go down....

"I paused my eyes on the line, green eyes...Harry. When he smiles, its like I'm electrecuted...."I thought.

"So, whatcha think of it? Is it good? she asked. I smiled and slowly nodded.

"Its perfect. I can't wait to sing this awesome song." I said, giving her a high five.

"Neither do I." she said and returned the high five.


Dismissal time came and I wore my shoulder bag on me. Then stared at Harry again, I was about to go to him but then, Vanessa came to the picture. I rolled my eyes.

"Lets go together! my mom will be so glad to have you! she said. My eyes widened. "woah..where would they go?" I thought hard.

"For the practice? sure." Harry replied. "Oh...right." I thought.

Then they went outside the room together side by side. I watched them walked to the center hallway and felt flabbergasted.

"Cute pair! Good Luck guys!" one of Vanessa's popular friends, Hannah yelled.

"Gee, thanks!" Vanessa yelled back and proceeded talking to Harry. Harry was just all smiles and didn't even seem to care about anything right now.

"Its all right, Winter." someone patted my back and I turned around to see Nicole.

"Yeah, it is. I don't really mind though, um, its none of my business anyway." I said. she nodded.

We went to our carpool together right after we placed our things inside our lockers. Our driver has been waiting for us.

"Late again girls...that teacher of yours should know time well." he said. His been lately, complaining about our dismissal time. Our teacher is just so strict but kind as well.

I gazed outside the car, feeling the evening air. Its so fresh and pure. I was dropped to my house and I greeted my mom with a kiss on the cheek.

"I'll be off for work now honey. Take care okay?" she asked and gave me a hug.

"Who's my company for today? you didn't tell me who it is." I said. she smiled.

"I'm sorry honey, but he'll be coming here shortly. I forgot his name though...but he's a year older than you." she said.

"Okay. Bye mom, I love you!" I said as she bid back and gone outside. I went upstairs to my room and changed my clothes to bedtime ones. A blue shirt and pajama. I feel so comfortable with them.

I went downstairs to watch TV, but the doorbell rang.

"That must be the boy!" I thought happily. I opened the door and saw a tall looking boy with light blue eyes like the sky, he's so magnificent.

"Uh, hey. you must be Winter? Nice to meet you. I'm Daniel." he said.

"Yes, I am. Its a pleasure to meet you too. Please come in." I said, gesturing my hand to him inside.

"Your house is really cool." he complimented. I clapped my hands.

"Thanks! me and mom decorated it." I said. he nodded and smiled. Wow..he's smile is so innocent and decent. But I could picture Harry's.....Harry's is better though, especially his eyes.

"What's your age?" He asked me.

"I'm thirteen. I guess your fifteen then? mom said your a year older than me." I replied. he nodded.

We ate dinner together and he helped me with my bed. He's such a gentleman.

"Good night, Winter." he said.

"Good night, Daniel." I said and smiled. He smiled back then turned off the lights and closed my door. Then I fell into a deep good sleep.
