Chapter 1
I laughed and took in more smoke from the cigar. Then puffing out smoke in little O's.
"Hurry Up Kaitlyn before The cops come!" Keith said drinking some more of he's beer laughing. I turned around and finished spray painting on the side of the building. Keith was like a brother to me I have known him sense I was a little girl. we both knew we were never getting adopted.
"ok and...done" I said backing up to look at my master piece there were different colors every where. in bubble letters I spelt 'Fuck it' Keith laughed.
"FUCK IT!" He shouted I laughed so hard
"Fuck Youuuuuu!" I screamed at him dragging the u out.
"Shut UP!! People are trying to sleep Kaitlyn!" there was a shout and a window slammed shut I laughed so did Keith. keith threw he's empty beer bottle on the floor causing it to shatter. I threw my cigar onto the floor and stepped on it putting the light out. We walked out of the Alley way.
"Who The Hell wrote on our territory?!" we heard a roar Behind us and several Boys angry screams. Me and Keith laughed and ran down the street.
"now we did it!" keith said out of breath as we slowed our past to a walk. I looked up at the sky and gazed at the stars.
"Do you think we well ever get adopted?" Keith asked out of the Blue. I looked at him he was looking straight at me with a serious face. I frowned at him moonlight shinning on he's dark skin and afro.
"You probably will people love you" I said quietly as we continued to walk. he stayed quiet.
"do you remember our promise?" he asked breaking the silence. we were seven when we made that promise.

"kaitlyn promise me that we well always be friends... even if we get adopted?" Keith asked looking down sad. I felt bad I took he's hand and entwined our pinkies.
"I promise well all ways be best friends through everything" I said smiling he smiled
"and I promise to protect you" he said we smiled breaking our pinkies and hugged.

"yeah" I said looking down we made it to La Seirra Orphanage Keith opened the door for me I walked in.
"were the hell have you been!" auntie, our man care keeper asked her arms crossed
"Havin' fun" I replied she gripped my wrist
"why is there spray paint on your clothes and you smell like smoke and beer you know what never mind kaitlyn go take a shower and pack your stuff you have been adopted" she said walking away my jaw dropped. Keiths did too I ran towards auntie.
"There has to be a mistake Auntie" I said grabbing her arm she jerked away from me and opened up two wooden doors. in there sat a boy with Brown Hair and bright blue eyes and a very pretty girl with long brown hair they held their hands together and rested it on the Table.
"kaitlyn This Is Eleanor Calder and Louis Tomlinson there adopting you." she said my jaw dropped I swear it was on the floor
"holy shit" keith murmured behind me. Of course I knew who they were. I mean its not like I life under a rock.
Eleanor and Louis came up to me. Eleanor gave me a hug. I furrowed my brow in confusion was I dreaming? I looked at Keith he's mouth was now closed and he's eyes were wide. I couldn't leave my best friend. Eleanor pulled away and Louis gave me a hug.
"do you have you stuff ready?" Eleanor asked
"w-where are we going?'"
"London your going to be living with us. El. why don't you go help her with her stuff?" Louis said. Keith disappeared. I frowned. Auntie pushed my back I realized that Eleanor was already walking away I ran up behind her. We travelled up a flight of stairs and walked down the hall way towards my room in silence. I opened my door and she walked in.
"look Eleanor-"
"Please call me el"
"ok... El there has to be some mistake... I mean your a very lovely lady... its just why me im almost 18" I said "and a mess"
"Look kaitlyn i'm absolutely positive your the right one I know about the drugs and gangs-"
"and you still want me?" I asked shocked she sighed and sat on my bed.
"yes we still want you Kaitlyn?" she said I turned around and grabbed the dusty duffel bag and walked to the small bathroom. I grabbed my brush and tooth brush along with deodorant. I zipped the bag up and turned towards Eleanor. her eyes widened shock.
"That's It?!" she exclaimed I shook my head yes.
" I give all my clothes to the little ones." I said I looked around at my bunk then at Keiths bunk he wasn't there.
"look I know you don't want to leave you friend but we plan for you too have a good life" she said those words ringing in my head we plan for you too have a good life. We walked back out and down the stairs in silence. Louis was waiting for us I saw keith leaning against the wall I didn't go over to Louis with Eleanor I went to keith. I gave him a huge hug. he hugged me back
"don't forget about me" he said into my ear.
"never in a million years I would do that I promise I well come back." I said he pulled away
" no Kaitlyn you have a chance for a good life take that oppertunity don't ruin it" he said
"no Keith I promised we would be friends forever i'm not going to stay there long I well find a way for them to bring me back" I said he opened he's mouth but was inturupted by Louis voice
"sorry kaitlyn but were going to have to go now a crowd has grown out side." he said I gave Keith one last hug.
"I promise" I said before Louis drug me away. we went out the front door.
"don't answer any questions just ignore them." Louis said I nodded we walked outside too dozens of flashing lights
"did you guys adopt her?"
"what's your name?"
"how old are you?"
I was pushed into a black range rover Eleanor sat in the passenger seat and Louis in the drivers seat. soon we were off Eleanor kept talking about their Place. I tuned her and Louis out. I only looked out the window as small ringlets of rain drops padded against the window. I needed to go back. I need a plan. A plan that well hopefully have Louis and Eleanor bring me back.
