Three of a kind

A good day

Mackenzies P.O.V.

"Are you sure you've never been ice skating before?" Niall asked me, grinning as I managed to skate faster than him. I nodded turning to face him. "I guess your just naturally talented then, huh?" he grinned. I felt myself blush.

We skated around a couple more times before we decided to go to the edge to get a bit of a rest. A couple of people came asking Niall for pictures and autographs and he gave them happily.

"Does it never bother you?" I asked curiously. "What?" he asked back confused. "Never getting privacy" I replied. He shrugged. "I love our fans. Without them we'd be nowhere" he told me. I felt myself grin. "That's cute" I replied absent mindedly. He chuckled a bit at that.

WWe skated around a bit more before we got something to eat. Then it was time for him to drop me back to the dorm. The whole drive back to campus, we chatted. I found ot strange how comfortable I was around him. I normally wasn't so good with guys.

"So Mac.." Niall began as we made our way back to my dorm, my bouquet of flowers in my hand. "Yes?" I asked back. "Did you have a good time?" he asked sounding slighly worried. I chuckled, rolling my eyes. "No" I replied. "What?!" he asked panicky. We had made it to my door now. "I had a great time" I corrected him. He grinned. "Oh..right..good" he said grinning widely.

"Really though. Thanks Niall. I really did have an amzing day.." I told him. "Me too" he replied. Then before I had a chance to think about what I was doing I leaned in and pressed my lips to his. It took him a second to respond but I felt his lips begin to work against mine.

Suddenly the door to my room opened causing us to spring apart. "Woah! Sorry didn't mean to interrupt!" Sam apologised quickly. "No, no, its ok. I was just leaving.." Niall told her. "Bye Mac" he said quickly pecking my cheek. "Bye Sam" he added to her before turning and walking away. "
