Chapter 12
Cathies' P.O.V
Marcel was a charming, great young man. I smiled through our kiss, never breaking it. I just felt like, it was right. I also have to admit that Marcel was also the kisser, and as a popular, I'm proud to say that I enjoyed kissing a nerd. We broke free about a minute later, and Marcel was a blushing puppy. I couldn't help but blush too, I couldn't blame him, nor I. Marcel didn't say anything, so I guess it was my turn to speak up.
"Thank you." I said and pulled him in for a hug. But that just brought up another thing in my mind. What happened with Shawn? Did Marcel literally took over my mind that it had me forget about my past relationship with another boy? I don't think I've seen him around the school either. If I did, surely he would tell me something.
"Bye." Marcel said smiling, waving his goodbye to me. I nodded and went to my door, opened it and closed. I looked out of the window to see Marcel walking home running his hand through his slicked back hair. I've never felt this way before about a guy, even with Shawn, whom I had been in a relationship with the longest. The house was quiet, like always. Dad had a job that paid well, but it drives me and him apart. He goes to work at ten in the morning when I'm at school, so that means that he can't say goodbye to me every morning when I go because he's catching up on sleep. He gets home at about eleven at night, and it's to late to catch up on things. It is pretty depressing, but I guess it is what it is to keep the house, and have some extra things to buy like clothing. I don't want to bring up my mother in this, it just rubs a bad memory.
I walk upstairs into my room and open up my Facebook and I looked on Marcels' page. He had posted something.
"<3 C J C E <3"
That is weird. CJ is my initial. Catherine Jewels, but where does CE come from? Is the C my nickname? Cathie? Is the E something else? My nerdy brain couldn't figure it out.
Marcels' P.O.V
I tapped on the 'post' button on Facebook and smiled. I was overjoyed about this night.
My post was simple. Catherine Jewels / Cathie / Emerald. Yeah, pretend there are imaginary slashes! I decided to give her a nickname, Emerald. Since her last name is Jewels, why not give her another nickname of a specific jewel? It goes well. Catherine Jewels, Cathie Emerald. Besides, the nickname matches with my eyes. I smiled at the thought and arrived home moments later, walking to the bathroom to soak the gel out of my hair.
"How was your date?" Gemma asked at the door. I faced her and smiled.
"The best. Thanks Gemma for the advice." I thanked her and reached for the towel and started drying off my curly head.
"Can you tell me more about her? You only gave me her name and you know that's not enough." she begged. I smirked at her and shrugged.
"Goes to my school. Has tons of guys liking her. Popular." I began.
"Wait. Popular?" she asked. I nodded.
"And she goes on a date with someone that always dresses up like a nerd?" she continued asking, while I kept nodding.
"That just doesn't seem right little Marcel." she said and I rolled my eyes and put the towel back on the towel hanger.
"Doesn't matter Gemma." I replied.
"What did you do?" she asked being the nosey older sister she was.
"Went to the park, like I said. Stayed at the fountain for a bit. Went home, and kissed. That's all." I answered.
"Wha-what?! Kissed?!" Gemma asked shocked. I nodded grinning.
"It was the best moment of my life!" I cheered and hugged her again. Those times when you are so happy that you could hug someone, yep.

Did you guys hear the song 'Just Can't Let Her Go'?!!??!?! The NEW LEAKED SONG for the Where We Are ALBUM!?!?! I AM LITERALLY DYING AT THE SONG.So, to help calm down my feels, I am now typing this chapter while eating some Oreo Yogurt.
