Marcels' P.O.V

Hopefully Cathie wouldn't have any doubts about me. I put on my white tee-shirt and then wore the heart necklace mother gave me for my birthday. I fixed my hair up and went for my shoes.

"Where are you going Marcel?" mother asked when she saw me. I looked at her and smiled.

"On a date!" I cheerfully said and grinned cheekily. Mothers' expression lit up and hugged me. She took a look at what I was wearing and nodded.

"At least you take a break on those scruffy outfits you go to school with everyday." she commented. I rolled my eyes and closed the door quietly. I took a huge puff.

Don't act to nervous Marcel. Make Cathie happy is what you're going for. Don't stray off interested in something else.

Thoughts were running through my head constantly reminding me of what to do, and what not. I kept my head down so no one from school could figure out who I was right now. Once I meet Cathie, I plan on turning into Cupcake Marcel. Evergreens Park wasn't that far off, and it was a beautiful one too. The fountain in the middle of the park looked extremely marvelous at night when the lights are glowing. It's like Vegas, but fountain-ish. It's a perfect spot for dates. I've watched movies about romantics with Gemma because she begs me too, while I prefer sci-fi and that other stuff.So because of that, I know what to do in a relationship.. I think. When it becomes silent and everything around is beautiful, wrap your arm around the girls' stomach. I pictured that in my head, and nodded assuming it was the right thing to do. I was at the entrance of the park and from afar, I could see Cathie standing waiting for me. I smiled at her.

I took another deep breath. It's time Marcel.

I walked towards her and she smiled at me. Her smile filled with joy and surprise. I guess she liked the way I looked?

"Hey Cathie." I softly said to her.

"Hi Marcel." she replied.

Cathies' P.O.V

Am I the first one to see him looking like this? Besides his family, possibly. He looked a lot better in this new look. This new look was hot, if I have to be honest. But his geeky, nerd outfits were always adorable in it's own way. It became quiet and I looked down to see Marcels' hand on his side. I held it tightly and looked at him. He seemed confused, but soon his expressions' changed to a smile. I walked hand in hand towards the fountain with Marcel. I remember this fountain. My favorite fountain of all time.

That's when memories had flew in my mind. I remember my ninth birthday. My family and I were going to celebrate it in Evergreens Park, and the fountain was still around by then. My cousins, aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, and friends were there. I played the regular birthday games you would usually expect at normal parties. I walked to the fountain and stared at it for a while. It was beautiful, even during the day. The powerful water looking magnificent. It didn't take long before my cousin, Rylee, just a year older than me, came to watch the fountain also. Her dad came along and gave me a quarter. I looked at him confused. He told me to make a wish and never tell anyone about it, because it won't come true. I nodded and then faced the fountain once again. I closed my eyes, relaxing myself and casted my wish onto the quarter and threw it into the fountain. I reopened my eyes and grinned. I really hoped it would come true.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" Marcel asked snapping me from my memories. I nodded and looked at him and it was finally a good chance to take a look at his face. Piercing, emerald green eyes sparkling, dimples forming whenever he smiled, and his full lips.. Not to mention he had huge hands also for a little adorable nerd like him. I put my attention back at the fountain and wondered if my quarter was still in that fountain, and if one day my wish would come true. I felt shocked to feel an arm snaking around my stomach. I looked at Marcel alarmed but he gave me a reassuring look, making me loosen a little. I put my head on his his arm, since he was surprisingly taller than me.

"Marcel. This is great." I said after a moment of silence looking at the fountain. I could sense him agreeing.

Marcels' P.O.V

Cathie was adorable. I had no idea what to do now. I already wrapped my arm around her waist and have said a few words. Maybe I could just put a kiss at the top of her head? I did, but I hesitated. I put a soft kiss on her head and she looked up at me once more in shock.

"Was it that bad?" I asked embarrassed of myself. Jenna smiled and shook her head. I started blushing.

"It was good." she replied. I mentally took a breath. Thank god.

"Are you offended by that? Be-because I won't do that again if you don't like it." I said.

"No I'm not Marcel." Cathie replied. She seemed really easy to be with.

"Uhh.. so maybe can we go out another time?" I asked, this time much more clearer. She nodded into my torso and I smiled. It was already six'o'clock, two hours since I arrived.

"Want me to take you home?" I asked when the skies started turning much darker. The fountain was glistening more than ever by this time.

"That would be nice, thank you." she answered and I took her hand and started walking out of the park. It was quiet for most of the walk, she'd swing my arm with hers back and forth from time to time. We got to her house a short fifteen minutes later and she turned around to look at me.

"I'll see you soon?" I asked, taking a step closer to her. Cathie nodded and smiled.

"Of course." she said. In the heat of a moment, I stared into her brown eyes. I was lost. I leaned in and went for the biggest thing I've never done before. Kiss someone straight on the lips.
