What I Don't Remember

Awake

I woke up to the smell of coffee and the comforting sound of teenage boy. The voices were muffled because there were so many people speaking at once and all of which had British accents. I groaned and almost opened my eyes, but kept them shut because I had no idea who these people were and what they planned to do to me.
“Should we call the police?” I heard a voice say.
“No not yet, I want to see if she’s okay first.” I heard a second voice say, and I could even smell the mint gum he was chewing while he talked. The deep and raspy tone of his voice made me flutter and soon I was imagining a face that could live up to the sound.
I slowly opened my eyes hoping to see some type of goddess, but what I got was something more. Sitting right next to me in a stool was a curly brown-haired beauty that I never thought I’d live to see. His only flaw was a scar that ran down his cheek which looked fairly new. It was still dripping with blood and looked as if someone had taken a knife to his face.
“She’s up.” He said, brushing away the blood that was running down his chin.
Four other boys that looked to be about the same age came running over to me. It was then that I noticed I was laid out on a plush couch with a cool towel placed over my head. I removed it swiftly and sat up. This movement welcomed a lot of pain in my lower back and especially my head which was throbbing. I tried not to look like I was in pain with all these strangers watching me, but it was incredibly hard. I squinted in an attempt to hold back the tears and then focused my attention back to the gorgeous boy I first saw when I woke up.
“Where am I?” I managed to say in an unfamiliar voice that didn’t sound anything like mine. I looked at each boy briefly and they all stared back at me in utter confusion.j
“You’re in a bus. You had an accident.” The boy said, looking back and forth between me and the others. I felt my eyes grow wide as I lifted my shirt to inspect the damage, but his hand carefully pulled it back in place. “I’m sorry; I just don’t want you to be worried.”
“Is it that serious?” I asked, almost reaching for my shirt so he could touch me again. I looked up at him and for some reason I couldn’t keep my eyes off the scar. “You look like you need more medical attention than me.”
He tried to smile but it did not reach his eyes.
“It’s nothing. I’m okay.”
“Are you sure?” I brushed my thumb against his cheek where the scar was. When I brought it back down it was covered in blood. The boy’s eyes widened at my straight forwardness. The other boys who I forgot were even there snickered and chuckled amongst each other but I hardly noticed. The boy whose name I still didn’t know shook his hair out and walked over to a nearby table to get a napkin. When he returned he used it to slowly wipe my thumb which resulted in even more hushed laughter from the other four.
“So, what’s your name?” He said, crumpling the blood filled tissue in his hands.
I had to think for a minute because for some reason this entire situation had my head in knots.
“My name is Paris.” I finally said after a long moment of silence. He smiled and this time it actually reached his eyes. “What’s yours?”
He looked at me wide-eyed for a few seconds and then turned to the other boys who also looked shocked. Once again they were acting like I was speaking In a different language.
“Is there a problem?” I said, slightly annoyed.
“No, I’m just surprised you don’t know who I am.” I rolled my eyes. Someone was obviously a bit full of himself.
“How would I know? I’ve never even seen you before.”
“Well, weren’t you at the concert?”
“What concert?” I said, confused. The last I remembered I was at some boring school picnic. The boy slapped his face with the palm of his hand as If I had said something really stupid.
“Oh, jesus. Someone call an ambulance.”

I really hope you update soon. Because I was hoping that you were aactuallly done and this story was literally complete...

I'm sorry. Idk why my massages repeat themselves. Ughhh.

I know a girl who had jumped over people in a basketball game at my school and when she came back down, someone tripped her and she hit her head which caused her to lose her memory for the rest of the year. She didn't remember who her boyfriend was. She wasn't snobby. She even began to like sweet tea, unlike before :) then she eventually got her memory back.
