Chapter 43
Jenna P.O.V
* One month later *
It's been a whole month since I've been working as a designer alongside my bestie, Alyssa. It's been very tiring but fun. All day coming in with warm smiles towards us and being able to create clothing that expresses your true self. It's also been two weeks since I've seen the boys and I've missed them dreadfully. I wonder what they've been up too, and I wonder what Zayn has been doing also. I can't wait until I see them.
"Another one done Miss Sanders?" Earl asked. I nodded and stood up showing him the sweater I had recently finished. He smiled at my piece and brought it out. When he came back, he was still smiling at me.
"You're doing such excellence Miss Sanders. And you are doing fine as well." Earl complimented facing Alyssa. Alyssa blushed and she continued working on her tube top.
"Earl, what time is it?" I asked.
"Almost time for you to leave. You two have made much progress these days. Your designs are indeed wonderful." Earl continued. I nodded and took a drink from my water bottle.
* Two hours later *
"Got everything Alyssa?" I asked standing in the doorway. Alyssa nodded and started following me out of the building. We walked home. I never noticed how rich we were becoming. From poor store workers to clothing designers. Such a big step. The cold air started brushing against my cheeks. The night air was always cold. Once we got home, I threw my purse on my bed and crashed down. I was exhausted. Work tomorrow also. Maybe I should take a break. I've already went to work every day. Only two days. Alyssa went into my room with the late dinner.
"What's on your mind Jenna?" Alyssa asked.
"Let's just take a break. Only for two days. Not seeing the boys is killing me inside." I replied. Alyssa shrugged as response and I took a sip from my water.
"Alyssa, do you want to know what I realized?" I asked. Alyssa looked at me confused and I continued.
"Before meeting One Direction, we were just normal girls that were poor. Now look at us, we are barely famous and rich. I'm starting to think that One Direction is changing us.." I replied.
"That's a bad thing?" Alyssa asked.
"I never said that.. it is just something I've noticed." I replied. We were silent for the rest of the dinner. Something else I've noticed. When we finished dinner, Alyssa brought them out and I snuggled myself in my blankets. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
