Chapter 1
*Crystal's POV*
My eyes blink open and I roll on to my back. Looking at the ceiling I stretch and make a noise that sounds like a baby dinosaur calling its mother. Yawning, I reach for my phone and check to see if I had gotten any texts. Nope, of course not, I'm just a loser. Well, I better check Instagram. I scroll through my apps and find Instgram, I tap on the app and scroll through the pictures. My old friend from Texas, Lexi, posted some pictures with her boyfriend. Amy posted a picture of the beach from a month ago, but that was all. Slipping the covers off, I drag my sleepy body into the bathroom.
Looking at yourself in the morning is a scary sight! My hair is frizzy and knotted, there are big purple bags under my eyes, and my breath is probably horrible. I go to the bathroom and them strip and step into the shower. The warm water is relaxing, yet it wakes me up. I scrub the knots out of my hair and rub the crusties from my eyes. I walk out into the kitchen and pour myself a bowl of Chex cereal. Sitting down at the counter I shovel cereal into my mouth. I wonder where Amy is, wait I don't have to wonder, she takes forever to get ready! I finish my cereal and place the bowl in the sink. Opening the fridge I pull out the sliced turkey and Swiss cheese. Why does Amy have to put the bread on top of the fridge? I can never reach it. I drag a chair over and hop up and grab the bread. I bring it down and lay down four pieces of bread. I spread mayo on two of them and slap some turkey and cheese along with it. I throw some lettuce on Amy's and some Mustard on mine. Throwing them both in sandwich containers I search for the lunch bags. I throw Amy's in the pink one and mine in the grey one and set them on the counter.

"What?" Amy exclaims
"Nothing, but you work at Shop Rite, aren't you a little dressed up?
"No."
"Okay, anyway I made your lunch."
"Thanks, well, I better get going."
"Okay, see ya later."
"Bye." Amy said as she trudged out the door.
Well, it's time that I should be leaving to go to Pet Smart. I love animals! When I save up enough money to go to college I'm going to be a veterinarian. It's such a nice day, I think I'll walk today.
