Chapter 5 - Will
"Shawn?" Harry look's at him, "Harry?" Shawn look's at him, "Jennifer?" the three of us look at him confused, "Louis?" Shawn question's. I roll my eye's and just looking at the water, thinking of how I'd cool down just as I wade into the water. "Oh, I see you want to go in the water." Harry give's me an evil grin, my eye's go wide, but before I could run, Harry sweep's me off my feet and we both come crashing into the wave's. I shriek at the cold water, but soon get comfortable with the temperature easily. I swim over to Harry on the shallow side and start splashing him with water for payback.
After I splashed him plenty of time's, he tackled me into the water. When we both resurface, I see Shawn give me a disappointed look as I saw the rest of One Direction run in after us. I look back at Harry and shove him underwater, then swim back to shore. "Well done my little Brook", Shawn give's me a high-five and a happy smirk. I grab his wrist and we both run into the water.
I float in the water in peace, but was interrupted when my bully from school came outta nowhere, "Oh look at Bitchy Brook just floating here alone", Kelsie talking in a baby tone. I stood up, only to get pushed back down into the water. I stood up again, but was shoved back down and was held underwater. I didn't panic, for I knew it would cause me death, but just to get a kick out of Kelsie. I screamed letting a lot of air out and stopped for just enough air to survive. I held my breath, but it seemed I let out just a tad bit more than I expected and I felt like I needed to choke for air. Then luckily, her hand's were finally removed, and I jumped out of the water, gasping for air.
"WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU TRYING TO DO TO HER?! KILL HER?!" I head Will's voice, instead of Shawn's. "I was just-", Kelsie started, but then Shawn yelled at her, "TRYING TO KILL MY SISTER! YOU BITCH! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH SHE MEAN'S TO ME?!" Will came to my side, I instantly hugged him and began to cry. I started to cry because that was how my step-mother died. She jumped off a cliff and into the water, but never resurface. I assumed she drowned and sunk to the bottom, since her body was never found.
"But-", Kelsie started again, but Shawn cut her off, again, "NO, DON'T YOU DARE BUT ME! NOW GET OUT OF HERE!" I heard him yell, with the mix of Will's calming word's, "shh... your fine. Don't worry, I'm here." he cooed into my ear. I looked up into his dark brown eye's, making my tear's stop, and before I knew it, our lip's crashed together. My arm's instantly wrapped around his neck and his hand's settled on my hip's.
We were both soon interrupted when a huge wave came in and hit us, making us fall into the water. Will and I resurfaced laughing. I looked up into the sky and noticed the sun was beginning to set. "Common, I think it's time to go Brook", Will hold's a hand up for me, I take it and he help's me up. We both walked to Shawn and I spot on the beach and I quickly put my cloth's on, not caring if they get wet. "So. Can I take you on a date sometime?" Will look's at me nervously. I nod my head, rummage through my bag to find my phone, then hand it to him so he could put his number in.
Once he does, he text's himself so he could get my number, give's me a kiss goodbye, then leave's. I get a text from Shawn and I look at it quickly.
From: Shawn
To: Me
I'm waiting in the car, so let's go... I also got a picture of you an Will! Good luck with the relationship ;)
I smile at the picture then look at Shawn who was in the car with a happy grin on his face, but that slowly turned into a frown. I looked around until my eye's locked with green orb's. Harry looked like he was on the verge of tear's. I looked at him curiously, but he just continued walking. I shrugged it off and jogged back to Shawn's car and got in. "Look's like someone's got a date!" Shawn made his eyebrow's go up and down. "Oh shut up!" I hit his arm playfully, then he started up the car, and he drove us home.
