Samantha's POV:

Honestly, I felt guilty. I really didn't lose my memory. I was doing this for Niall, even though my heart was yelling at me to go with Louis. I was breaking Louis' heart while mending Niall's. It didn't seem fair, and especially to me, since I wouldn't be at the full extent of my happiness, but life isn't fair.

His sad blue eyes were pooling with tears, and he said, "Is it true?"

I blinked back a wave of my own tears, because I knew I shouldn't show any sign of emotion to a 'stranger'. Did Louis really believe me? I should be an actress.

"Who are you?" I repeated, and with every word, every second, and every moment I could feel Louis' disappointed eyes on me, my heart was shattering into millions of pieces.

Louis knew perfectly well that without him, I could barely breathe, eat, live. Or did he? Why was he questioning the fact that I didn't know him? Didn't he believe in true love? You'll always find one, no matter what? So didn't my memory not change anything?

I guess one big problem is Louis' spirit. He gives up too easily. Like right now.

Niall burst into the room, eyes darting wildly, and then finally, at me.

"Are you alright?" He asked me, grabbing my hand.

I stared blankly at him. Louis sighed, and when he walked out of the room, he bumped shoulders with Niall, and I heard him hiss into his ear, "She's finally all yours."

Yup. Louis really did give up.

Pushing down the urge to leap up and kiss Louis, I reminded myself that this was for Niall's sake. He's been through enough already.

Niall seemed to realize what was going on, and a huge smile spread onto his face. "Samantha," he beamed at me, and the familiar feeling of guilt was once again eating at my insides. "I'm in love with you."
