Samantha's POV:

"Niall, do you have to go?" I complained as I held onto my boyfriend's hand. It was the day before he was going on tour, so it had been a month since we had our relationship. It was September, so it had been a month since I talked to Louis.

I had avoided him after I told him we weren't meant to be, or should I say, he had avoided me. Whenever all of us were together, Louis wouldn't talk to me, so I wouldn't talk to him. But there were times when I tried to talk to him, but he only turned away. And once our lips were so close... I shouldn't be thinking that! I have a boyfriend!

Niall interrupted my thoughts by kissing me lightly. I smiled into the kiss, and wrapped my arms around his neck. "I'm sorry, I have to go."

"I have university anyway," I sighed disappointedly, staring down at the bed I was sitting on. "When do you think we'll ever see each other again?"

"Hey, don't think like that," Niall said, placing his hand on my cheek, "We'll skype every night. And you'll call me everyday, right?" I nodded and tried to smile, but failed miserably, letting a few tears out.

"Don't cry," Niall mumbled softly in my ear, and he pressed his forehead against mine. "Because, no matter the distance, I'll always be there for you." And I knew he would. But the question troubling my heart was, would I be there for him?

He smiled, and without hesitation, I leaned in. The kiss was long and sweet and so innocent. He loved me, he truly loved me. I could feel it because he always was bad at hiding his emotions. But did I love him?

The door swung open and Niall and I jumped apart, like we weren't supposed to be together and we were caught. But judging by the tension in the house, it felt like we weren't supposed to be together.

Liam stared at us, and shook his head slightly. But even though Niall didn't see it, I did. And even though it was just a small head movement, I felt like crying because I knew he disapproved of us. And his judgement meant a lot to me. And for a split second I wondered why he disapproved, he didn't want me with Louis-- wait, how did I know that? I thought I only remembered things when I faint! But I guessed it was just because it was a such a tiny detail.

Liam left without saying a word, and there was a sad silence between Niall and I. But then he broke it by saying, "I'm going to pack..."

"Goodbye, Niall, I'll miss you!" I whispered in his ear, trying not to listen to the screaming fans. I didn't want our relationship to be known, per my request. I didn't know why, I just did. I just followed my gut.

"Remember to call and text me!" he shouted, and then he said something else, but his words were drowned out. I waved to him and then he disappeared.

I was a bit upset because I knew I was alone, not even with Miranda, but I couldn't stop the tour, so I just went along. The paparazzi shouted questions in my face, but one caught me off guard.

"Are you and Louis still together?"

And I as I walked on, I whispered to myself, "Not anymore."
