Loving You

Unexpected

I woke up between Eleanor and Louis. I couldn't remember how I'd gotten there, but I wiggled off of the bed, careful not to wake anyone. I checked the mirror once in the bathroom only to find mascara smudged down my face. I thought about what could have made me upset last night. I'd had more to drink than I'd realized and my head was pounding. I couldn't remember much - just streaking down the hallway, and something about truth or dare and getting angry with Harry. But my head was hurting too badly for me to worry about it. Plus, it wouldn't have been the first time that we had a little drunken argument. I was a dramatic, fun drunk and usually made a big deal out of everything while Harry was a sensitive, fun drunk who took everything to heart. The fun drunk in both of us usually took over, but I assumed last night was different. I brushed whatever it was off, wiped the makeup out from under my face, and peed.

Once my business was done, I went back into the main room of our hotel room to look for some Advil. I downed two and climbed into bed with Harry. I cuddled with him, causing him to stir.

"Ooops, sorry!" I whispered. He smiled and stretched. He lazily lifted his head to glance at Louis and Eleanor, who were still asleep. He grabbed a pillow and chucked it at Louis, hitting him in the head.

"Waaaake up!" Harry groaned, laying his head on my chest.

Louis simply raised his hand and flicked Harry off. I giggled. Eleanor didn't move.

Eventually, everyone peeled themselves out of bed to get things together to leave.

"We have so much fun on nights like the last, but hell is it really worth it?" Eleanor rubbed her head as we made our way out of the elevator.

"Is that a serious question?" Harry looked at Eleanor with a smirk on her face.

"Of course not you idiot! It is SO worth it!" Eleanor laughed and Louis hooked his arm around her neck, pulling her close as they walked in front of Harry and I.

Harry looked at me, his expression growing serious. "Are we okay?"

"Of course. How many silly arguments do we have while drunk?" I laughed.

"A few, but we always make up for them later." He growled, slipping his hand around my waist. I smirked at him as we made our way onto the street to get a cab.

"I'll miss you so much!" I hugged Harry as he stood at the door.

"I miss you two already!" Harry turned me loose and scooped Devon up from the floor. It was Tuesday and Harry and Louis were going off to LA for a business meeting. Devon and I would usually tag along, but Harry would only be gone for two nights and lugging a two year old half-way around the world is quite the job. We decided that it would be best to avoid the hassle, and that Devon and I would stay in London.

Eleanor and Sophie were doing the same, so a two-night sleepover was planned. The kids were excited, but I think Eleanor and I were looking forward to it much, much more.

I kissed Harry goodbye one last time and he trotted down the steps and into the cab that was waiting to take him to the airport.

"Let's Skype Dani!" Eleanor chirped as we lounged in my living room. The babies were playing and Eleanor and I were keeping an eye on them.

"Please! I miss everyone so much!" I grabbed my laptop off of the side table and logged onto Skype. "She's on!" I exclaimed as I clicked on her name. Soon enough, her beaming face appeared on the screen.

"I MISS YOU TERRIBLY!" She screamed into the camera. I giggled and tilted my laptop so that she could see El. "Oh my God. You two are having a sleepover and I'm not there. Fuuuck I want to come home!" Dani made a pouty face.

"We miss you too! Buuuuut there are kids in the room. Don't say 'fuck.'" Eleanor giggled.

"Ahhh my babies! Let me see them!" Danielle shrieked.

Eleanor scooped up Devon while Sophie crawled into my lap. "Hi Aunt Dani!" Sophie waved at the screen.

"Hi, baby! Aunt Dani misses you! How are you?"

"I'm good. Just hanging out with mommy a lot - shopping, watching Sesame Street and eating ice cream mostly." Sophie counted the things out on her fingers. She was unbelievably smart. When she finished, she flipped her hair over her shoulder, sending El, Dani and I into bouts of laughter. She had quite the personality.

"Well sounds like you've been living the life!" Dani smiled at Sophie.

"Yeah, I have." Sophie said in her cute, four year old voice. She was insanely adorable.

"Hi, Devon!" Danielle waved to him through the camera. Devon smiled and waved.

"Hey!" He couldn't quit smiling. Danielle giggled.

"So what have you girls been up to?" Dani turned her attention to El and I as the kids climbed out of our laps to continue playing.

"Exactly what Sophie said. That's my life." Eleanor let out a laugh.

"What about you, Le? What's new?" Danielle looked to me.

"Not much. Just taking care of Devon, and recording a duet album wiTH HARRY!" I squealed. No one but Louis and Eleanor knew, so I was excited to tell everyone.

"What?! Are you serious?" Her jaw dropped. They all knew how badly I wanted to start writing and performing again, so this was a big deal.

"Yeah. We're performing at their big promotional event coming up. So you'll all get to hear then!" I clapped my hands, unable to contain my excitement.

"I cannot wait! I'm so happy for you, Le!" Dani smiled. We continued to talk for another hour or so. It was good catch-up time, plus we planned a tropical getaway after Harry and Louis' promotional event since the whole gang would be back in town. My life was perfect and I couldn't understand what I'd done to deserve such happiness.

"What about these?" Kirsten asked as she brought a few bananas over. We were grocery shopping and I had to be sure Harry had his bananas when he arrived home. El and Soph had gone to their home for the day, but were returning for the last night of our sleepover later.

"Those look good!" I nodded and she placed the fruit into the trolley.

"I'm going to check out the candy aisle. Devon, you wanna come?" Kirsten held her arms out for Devon who reached for her. Any mention of the word 'candy' and he suddenly became alert and interested.

"Meet me at the register, okay?" I continued to stroll down the main aisle of the store, reading through my grocery list to be sure I had everything we needed. I nodded my approval as I checked off the last thing on my list. I headed for the register, looking for Kirsten and Devon. I spotted them and they followed me to the shortest line. I turned my attention to the cashier as she began to ring up our items.

"Daddy!" Devon shrieked and pointed to the magazine rack.

Kirsten quickly scooped Devon up and tried to quiet him. That's odd, he wasn't doing anything wrong. Why is she telling him to keep quiet? I glanced at the magazine rack, expecting the usual headline of Harry - something about his business or our family. But what I saw wasn't what I expected, and it knocked the breath out of me. I stumbled to where Kirsten stood with Devon.

"Get in the car." I motioned.

"Ma'am, what about your groceries?" The cashier summoned me as I headed for the door.

"Keep them." I spat. I clutched my chest, trying to breathe, doing my best to make it out of the store without collapsing.

This made me happy, then sad, then happy all over again!!! I was devastated with Leah when she learned about him having another child, especially when it was a girl. Then I was absolutely ecstatic when Raya became apart of their family!! Although, my favorite One Direction child has to be Sophia!! She has just as much sass as Louis and it made me smile like an idiot!! Although I know the odds are against it, I'm still holding out for the third story!!!

I always imagined Harry and Leah having a girl. I never wanted to be cliché, but I couldn't imagine her name as anything but Darcy. Raya's grandmother would continue to live with the Styles' for the rest of her days, spending time with the children and helping out in any way she could. I never planned out the other girls' pregnancies as much, but I thought about Dani and Liam having twin boys and Darcy falling for one of them in the far away future, thus connecting the group in even more ways.

I'm so happy you enjoyed my writing! If you have any more questions, feel free to let me know! :) @Harry's big green eyes

@hayykayy
I've loved your story from the beginning. I spent 3 days ignoring my family to read the first book. If you wouldn't mind( I'm going to pull a fouls in our stars ) can you share what you thought would happen. Such as: the gender and name of the baby, what happens to rayas grandmother, what about the other girls pregnancies? It would mean a lot to me if you and answered these questions and if I missed anything, more. Message me:)

@JennStyles
