Heartbeat
Buzzing
Harry's POV:
I left the room, unable to look at Anne's still figure. I hoped that she would wake up soon, but for now, I needed fresh air. Once I left the hospital, the fresh breeze immediately hit me.
I glanced at the phone buzzing in my pocket; probably the boys asking if I was finished yet. But I just ignored it and kept on walking.
"OH MY GOD, HARRY STYLES!" I heard a fan scream. I would usually flasher my signature cheeky smile but today was different. I merely looked at the now growing crowd of girls chasing after me, arms stretched out.
I started running, running away from the desperate fans, from the annoying paparazzi, from everything. What would the tabloids come up with now?
I turned a corner and into the woods, where I knew that even the fans wouldn't go. Tears started welling up in my eyes, and as the unremorseful wind slapped at my face, the tears rolled down.
But suddenly I could feel nothing. Tears were just tears, not a hidden pain or sadness. My eyes could stare at only nothing and in my ears, I could hear the words echoing over and over. She's going to die. She's going to die. She's going to die.
The numbness spread all over, and soon, I could feel no bitter cold, no sharp wind. Just nothing.
And then a faint buzzing started growing louder and louder, drowning out the voice that told me that Anne was going to die. I clapped my hands over my ears but still there was that loud buzzing. I collapsed onto the ground covered in dead leaves. "Stop it," I cried into the air, but the buzzing only grew louder.
And then the buzzing formed into one horrid voice, and each word was torture.
She's going to die.
She's going to die.
She's going to die.
The tears streamed down my face until no more could be shed. My body trembled against the ground. I couldn't stay strong, not for her and not for me.
Anne's going to die.
