My birthday is in another week and I will be turning sweet 18, but not so sweet. I had my fair shares of heartbreak and anguish, with me being the only daughter and girl in my family, well immediate family that is. My mom was long gone before I turned 6 and me being a total daddy’s girl, got whatever I wanted, epically if it was illegal like my 14th birthday where I got a tiger. Yes a real life tiger, fun it is but scary it was. My dad got in major trouble that day, not with the cops and all but with the animal rights people. Since then I was careful of what I asked of him. High School wasn’t so bad either, with my dad gone most of the time and our very big house with loads of ‘drinks’ I was the popular one. He didn’t mind of course as long as we cleaned up after ourselves. Yeah I guess you can say I had it all, except for the one guy I gave my heart to.
Tommy was my first love in high school but that was a bust. The minute I turned my head was the minute he hooked up with one of my closest friends. I gave him everything, my love, my trust, and my virginity. A few months later I met Steven who was the most caring and funny guy I have ever met. Little did I know I was not his type, but man was he really into Vick, my older and hot friend I met at one of my dad’s gigs. Since then I was a little weary of boys and decided to focus on my education. Now a new graduate at Carson High School and at an almost legal age, I was ready for a new adventure. Life on the road.
