"Come on get dressed"! "I don't want wanna be late"! My best friend Candy yelled. I sighed, she had got invited to the VMA's after party, and wanted to take me which I declined so many times, but being her she forced me into going by threatning to burn my study books and guides. So of course being I agreed being a straight A student (In college) comes with consequences. I walked into her walk-in closet and she handed me an aqua, knee length, tight dress. I groaned and put my hands together and begged her not to have me wear this. "Melanie Jane Bonin"! "You will wear this dress, if it's the last damn thing I do"! She yelled. I quickly took the dress and ran into her bathroom. I put on the dress and slipped on the heels before walking out. She smiled with glee before pulling me back into the bathroom. "SIT"! She ordered and I scoffed. "Why I don't to sit, I feel like standing"? Candy glared at me and I hurriedly sat in the chair she had prepared for me. "I want to make sure your hair is flawless"! She said mimicking a gay, French hairstylist. I giggled and shook my head about 30 minutes later we were ready and I examined myseld in the mirror. I guess I looked okay, and was presentable enough. Candy grinned and grabbed my hand pulling me out my black, mercedes, audi. We got in and headed to the party. (Candy was driving and I was the passenger). "Tell me again why I ahve to go". I whined. "Because you need to live and get your face out of those study books and study guides"! She said taking a swift left. I sighed, I couldn't stand parties, with their loud music and smelly, sweaty drunk people and their just really uncomfortable. They weren't.....ME. Candy pulled into the parking lot and rushed me inside.
