Mya’s POV:
“OMFG! WHY WOULD SHE MENTION ‘INFINITY’?” I yelled as I sat down on the bean bag.
“Cause she’s your mother.” Coraline laughed.
“If they ever make us sing, I swear I will-” I threatened.
“Hold your horses!” Roxy stopped me, “Don’t say something you will regret.”
“Too late.” I laughed along with Coraline.
“You guys are being really slack on them.” Roxy told me and Coraline as she sat down on the wheelie computer chair.
“No, we’re not,” Coraline looked at me, “They are being “slack” on us!”
“They have just come from the UK, leaving family and friends behind and you guys treat them like they are the worst people on this planet!” Roxy tried to stick up for them.
“But they are...” I tried not to laugh.
“Just go easy on them.” Roxy sighed.
“Debatable,” Coraline laughed, “Anyways, we all know you have a thing for Niall.” She smirked.
“SHUT UP!” Roxy blushed throwing the purple pillow at Coraline.
“You want to climb him like a tree!” I laughed.
“MYA!” Roxy tackled me to the ground, “Enough!” She laughed.
“Come on, admit that you fancy Niall!” Coraline smirked.
“And you want to snog him!” I smirked too.
“FINE!” She yelled, standing up, “I kinda ‘dig’ Niall.” Roxy blushed.
“I KNEW IT!” We heard a Irish accent yell from outside the door.
We all looked at each other and opened the office door. We found them all standing there, ears dropping on our WHOLE conversation.
“Shit!” Niall whispered.
We all crossed our arms and glared at them, “Well, well, well, what do we have here?” Coraline stared at them.
“RUN!” Louis yelled, the rest of the boys following them downstair to my backyard/pool area.
“Should we go after them?” Roxy asked, slightly embarrassed about the whole ‘Niall’ situation.
“Nahhh,” I looked at Roxy and Coraline, “I have a better idea.” I smirked.
We all walked outside, casually, and I unlocked my shed door. I opened the squeaky door and moved a couple of brown boxes until I found my old water guns I used to play with when I was around six.
“Water guns?” Roxy questioned.
“Yep.” I smirked.
“Ahhh, water guns.” Roxy finally realised what we doing, smirking.
We filled them up with the cold water tap near the garage and causally walked to the backyard, water guns behind our back, so we looked a bit innocent.
“Hey boys.” I smirked.
They started to back away from us, “We were just walking past the door and heard the conversation, thats it, I swear!?” Liam tried to defend his friends.
“Didn’t your mother tell you not to swear?” Coraline smirked.
“ATTACK!” I yelled as we aimed our water guns at the boys.
“NO!!!” I heard Zayn yell.
We started firing at them, water flying everywhere, they tried to stop us, tickling us, tackling us, trying to pick us up but we gave them a hard time. I was mostly aiming at Harry, occasionally hitting Zayn and Louis. Although it was meant to be a punishment, we were all laughing and smiling, I guess I enjoyed it...a little...
“That’s it!” Harry smirked, picking me up and putting me over his shoulder.
“Harry!” I squealed, “Let me go!” I laughed.
“You’re going for a swim!” He laughed.
“No!!!!” I tried to get out of his hands.
“1-” Harry smirked.
“Harry, PLEASE!” I whined.
“Please, wow, never thought I would hear you say that...but no,” He replied, standing at the edge of the pool, “2-”
“Harry! Please, I will do anything!” I didn’t want to go for a swim, the water was cold.
“Beg.” He smiled, showing his dimples.
“Never!” I shouted.
“3!” He yelled as he threw me in the water.
My pool was kinda deep so I almost went all the way down. Lucky for him I had compulsory swimming lessons when I was in primary school, meaning I could swim quite well.
I swam back up to the top and broke the surface of the pool water. Everyone was laughing including the girls.
“Woops!” Harry smirked, “You must of just slipped out of my hands.”
“Ha, ha, ha, now do me a favor and help me out?” I smirked, knowing what I was going to do next.
“Um, sure...” Harry was a tad confused at why I was asking for HIS help.
I held my hand out, waiting for him to grab my hand, and when he did, I pulled him in the pool with me.
“Hahaha!” We all laughed.
Harry surfaced, “Hey?!” He splashed me.
“I can’t believe you fell for that!” Louis laughed, “Oldest trick in the book!”
“It’s getting really cold, I’m going inside... Roxy?” Coraline asked.
“Yeah...boys?” Roxy smiled.
“Yeah we should probably be getting back in a little bit anyway, see you inside Harreh!” Zayn said.
Harry and I kept splashing and dunking each other until we both just sat there a tad awkwardly.
“My mum is going to kill us!” I groaned.
“What do you mean?” Harry asked, swimming over and sitting down on the pool step next to me.
“My mum hates chlorine in my clothes, we better get out...” I sighed in an a slight British accent.
“You do have an accent.” Harry confirmed with smirk.
“What do you mean?” I questioned.
“Your mum told me you used to live in England.” He replied.
“Oh...what else did she say. Hope nothing embarrassing...” I covered my face in my hands.
“Other things, things I will know and you will have to find out babe.” Harry replied with a slight smirk.
“Come on Styles, let’s go.” I said standing up and getting out of the pool.
“Yeah, sure.” He mumbled.
Coraline’s POV:
“Where are you?!” I yelled into the phone.
“I’m nearly there, calm ya farm!” I heard Mya groan.
“Ok, see ya soon love.” I replied and locked my iPhone.
I only live a street down from Mya so every morning I wait for her at the bottom of the hill and we walked to school together.
I heard a wolf whistle, making me turn around, “Give me some sugar, sugar!” Ian, the year’s douche bag yelled at me from across the road with his so called friends.
“In your dreams!” I shrugged, “Not even if you were the last human being on earth!”
“Ohhhhh burn!” I heard one of his friends laugh at him.
“Shut up, you dog!” He shoved him, “Let’s go.” He gave me once last glance before walking off.
“Got your daily dose of Ian?” Mya laughed, making me turn around to face her.
“Unfortunately...here.” I smiled, passing her a coffee.
“Awww thanks babe!” Mya hugged me.
We started walking towards school, passing numerous houses when I noticed something was missing, well, someone.
“Mya?” I asked, sipping on my coffee.
“Yeah huh?” She answered back.
“Where is the English lad?” I asked, noticing Harry was missing.
“He slept in.” Mya smirked.
“And you didn’t wake him up?” I questioned again.
“Nope, he has to learn the hard way.” She smiled, taking a drink.
“MYA! Didn’t see it in you, thought you would have at least woken him up for his first day of school...” I raised my eyebrow.
“What do you mean? You hate Harry, why do you care? You going soft on me Coraline?” Mya asked.
“No of course not, just didn’t think you were going that tough on him.” I gave her a side hug as we approach the front gates of the school.
15 MINUTES LATER, ALSO KNOWN AS THE START OF BIOLOGY:
I walk into my biology class with a smile on my face. This was the only subject that had a class of ten and I loved that. The people in my class weren’t annoying or rude, they were nice and most importantly they understood me. I was by myself, no one in my group had this subject but I didn’t care, I had a good class and a cool teacher. Since this subject was not very popular they had to join year 10 and year 11 together...which means it was co head...another plus ;)
I took my seat next to Felix, he had brown dreadlocks and silver/blue eyes. He was nice and extremely intelligent.
“Hey, Coraline.” He smiled while taking out his books.
“Hey, Felix,” I smiled back, “Have you seen Bethany?” Bethany is my partner in biology and she hadn’t come to class yet.
“No, I think she’s in Thailand.” Felix nodded.
“What?! That’s not till the last week of school!” I asked shocked.
“Yeah, she moved her holidays forward, she had things come up or something.” He shrugged.
“Oh...” I sighed, placing my head on the table and groaned, “Who’s going to be my partner?”
As soon as I said that Mr Simon walked in the room, placing his piles of textbooks onto his teacher desk.
“Right class, today we have a new student with us, he should be joining us soon...” Sir spoke to us.
“I’m here! Sorry that I’m a bit late.” He yelled.
“Bullocks!” I cursed under my breath.
“This is Liam, his on exchange from England.” Sir smiled, Liam standing next to him.
“Just my freaking luck.” I groaned, sinking into my chair.
“Why don’t you tell us a little about yourself.” Sir asked, started writing up work on the white board.
“Well, um, my name is Liam, Liam Payne and I’m from a place in England called Wolverhampton. I’m good at P.E and I enjoy obviously biology. I’ll be staying for the rest of the year and hopefully I will enjoy this subject...” Liam told us.
“Great, so your partner will be...” He said looking around the class, ‘Ahhh, Coraline, since your partner is absent for most of the year.”
“Kill me now.” I covered my face.
“Is there something wrong Miss Wellington?” Sir asked.
“Nope. Just peachy.” I faked smiled.
“Great.” He smiled back.
“What’s wrong?” Felix asked. By this stage Liam was still at the front of the class grabbing work of Sir.
“Let’s just say we have met, and I’m not really fond of him.” I faked smiled.
“Don’t worry, you’ll be fine, he can’t be that bad, surely.” Felix replied.
“Now, turn to page 394 in your textbook please.” Mr Simon smiled.
I went through my tote bag, trying to find my textbook. Once I found it, I pulled it out and placed it on my desk. I look to my side and Liam was already sitting down next to me.
“Hi Coraline.” Liam smiled sweetly.
“Yeah, hi.” I replied awkwardly.
“Um could I borrow-” Liam started to ask.
“Look, biology is kinda my life and I’m not preparing to fail it cause some hot British boy rocks up as my new partner. So don’t bring me down with you, cause its not going to be pretty for any of us.” I cleared the air.
“You think I’m hot?” Liam smirked.
“Seriously? Was that the only thing you got out of that?” I asked.
“No,” He smiled, “I get it, though, can we try to be friends?”
“I will just stick with acquaintance for now.” I opened my pencil case. “Your job as my partner is to sit there and look pretty. Don’t look at me, don’t talk to me, don’t even breathe next to me. Got it? Or am I not speaking English enough for you?”
