Horrible date
~ Amy's POV ~
I walked home with my husky. It was a Husky with piercing blue eyes. This dog was so adorable!! But, it was very skinny. It had nothing but skin and bones. And his hair was all matted and full of knots. And boy did he smell. When I get home, I must take him a bath.
"You smell. Don't you boy?" I said to the dog.
He looks up and licks my cheek. As much as I love dog kisses.. This wasn't my favorite one. Who knows where this dog has been eating lately. I shiver. I arrive at my house and I walk inside. I turn around to close the door and when I turned back, I see Perrie and Eleanor sitting on the couch. They looked at me in shock. I half smiled.
"Uh.. Why are you so muddy?" Eleanor asks.
"Well, like I said, I'll explain. Later." I said walking towards them. "But right now, I need to take this little dog, a bath."
"Aw! He's so cute! Too bad he smells." Perrie says covering her nose.
"Well that's why I'm going to give him a bath." I said walking upstairs. "Come on. Wanna help?"
"Yes!" "Sure" they walked upstairs to the bathroom with me. I took the dog a bath and he smelled like coconut. Eleanor grabbed my scissors and starts to give the dog a haircut. It wasn't perfect but.. It will do.
"I'm gonna go get him some food and water." Perrie says running out of my room. Perrie came back with a bowl of water and a bowl of dog food that I kept in case I needed it for a time like this. As soon as Perrie set down the bowls, the dog ran up to the water and drank it for a long time.
"So you gonna tell us what happened or what?" Eleanor said criss-crossing her legs towards me on the floor.
"Yea." Perrie says as she does the same.
I sat down on the floor too and I explained to them.
"Wow." Perrie says.
"He would never do that!"
"Yea, well. I saw the text plain and clear." I replied fiddling with my fingers.
Perrie scoots over next to me and hugs me. "Don't get yourself down with just one stupid text. We should all just go clubbing tonight!" She says.
"I'll go!" El says eagerly.
"Uh, I don't think that would be a good idea .. Clubs lead to bad things."
"Oh come on! This will help you get your mind off him."
"Ok. Ill go." I said.
They are right. I need to get my mind off him. I'm not going to get myself down while he's probably going to have sex with Tiffany. Maybe this will help me forget about all my problems. I look over to the husky and he fell fast asleep right by the food bowl area. I giggled.
"Look at the huusskyyy! Aaaww!" El says looking at him.
"You should really give him a name. We can't just keep calling him 'him' or 'husky' or 'the dog'.." Perrie says as she pets him.
"Well, I didn't want to get too attached to him so, I just didn't name him."
"You have to name him! Every family needs a pet. It's necessary!" El says.
"How bout Toby?" Perrie suggested.
"Ooh! Or cat." El said.
Perrie and me looks at El confused. "Cat? But, he's a dog." Perrie replies.
"That's what makes it funny, a dog called cat." She smiled. " or maybe Toby. I just thought it was funny."
"Hmm, I like Toby. Cat.. Is . Just too much of a reminder of Harry." I said looking down, thinking of Harry in his date right now.
"Don't think like that.. " El says hugging me. "Forget him."
"Oh! The club! Come on we have to get ready!" Perrie says, getting up.
"I'll call Louis, Zayn, and Liam. Since Niall is in Ireland visiting his parents." El says getting up as well and dialing some numbers.
I get up and walk over to the bathroom and took a shower. I got out and got dressed into a black tight dress with spaghetti straps. It went down to my mid-thigh. Something for a club, I guess. Perrie and El went into the bathroom with me too and we all applied our makeup and did our hair. I went with curly hair. Something simple. Then we brushed our teeth and put deodorant on. I sprayed my favorite perfume.
"All done!" Perrie says looking at all of us through the reflection of the mirror. I smiled at us. [DING DONG]
"They are here already?" El says looking at her phone.
"I guess so. Let's get going, shall we?" Perrie says grabbing El's and my hands and pulling it to my front door.
"Wait!" I said pulling out of Perrie's grasp and walking over to Toby. I picked him up veeeerrry gently and put him on my bed.
"Sorry, wanted him to be comfortable." I said walking back to Perrie and El.
We got downstairs and opened the front door.
"Hey gorgeous." Louis says walking over to El, kissing her. El giggles.
"Hey babe." Zayn says as he walks over to Perrie and kisses her too.
I just stand there, awkwardly. I miss Harry. No you don't! He doesn't like you, you don't like him.
"Lets go!" Perrie says running to the car in her heels. Wow, she is a pro on her heels.
~ Harry's POV ~
[DING DONG] "Harry! Your date is here!" Mom yells.
"Ok!" I yelled back. I really didn't want to go. I would rather be here with Am- no Harry! Don't think about her. I walk down the stairs and saw Tiffany waiting by the door. She ran and jumped at me once she saw me.
"Hi Harry!" She says as she gets off me.
"Hey Tiffany." I said a bit glumly.
"Ok, you too have fun.. " Mom says. She gave me a worried look.
"Kay!" She pulled me to the front door.
"Why so eager?" I said.
"Oh. I dunno. I just can't wait!" She smiled. What is she so excited for? Sex? Because that is not happening!! Especially on the first date.
~ At The diner ~
"Your food will be right with you." The waitress says, winking at me, then walks away. What is up with all the girls flirting with me?
"So. Have you ever dated a cheerleader before?" Tiffany says, starting the conversation.
"Uhm, no." I said, not really interested in the topic. I pretty much zoned out on the rest of the conversation.
I was thinking of how Amy chose Zach over me. What does Zach have, that I don't have? I have known Amy for a far longer time than Zach has. Zach has even been ignoring her all year and now all of a sudden he just asks her out? Weird. This is why I'm going on a date with someone. To forget about her, which isn't working. Why is Amy so important to me? Why can't I just choose someone else for once? Something about her is just.. Unique. She has a very beautiful personality, along with her features.
"Here you are." The waitress handed our plates.
Tiffany ordered a salad. Typical. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries. Amy would've ordered some ribs. Would you stop thinking if her? Is this like impossible to do???? I bite into my cheeseburger. Tiffany ate her small ass salad. Then a random girl comes up to me and gives me her number on a napkin.
"Uh, thanks?" I said confused.
"Excuse me? Can you back off he's mine! Can't you see?!" Tiffany yells at the girl, making a scene.
"Tiffany, quit making a scene." I asked a bit embarrassed. I apologized to the girl who gave me her number. She just nodded and walked away.
"Yea. Walk away!" Tiffany yelled back. Everyone looked at us.
"We should just go." I said, a bit annoyed.
I got up and left a tip on the table and paid the bill up front. What a horrible date. We drove to Tiffany's house and I walked her to her front door. As soon as we got to the front door, I kissed her cheek goodbye but she turned the kiss on her cheek to a kiss on her lips. I guess I was fine with it. Nothing special though. I put my hands around her waist, like I usually do when I kiss girls. Then she grabbed my belt and undid them. My eyes went wide open. I pulled her away.
"Tiffany! I'm not doing this in the first date! Especially in front of your front door!" I said as I buckled my belt.
"Why not? My parents aren't home." She said and she kissed me again.
I pulled her away from me and said,"Tiffany. I'm not one of those guys who has sex in the first date. I'm sorry but I can't do this." I gave her a kiss in he cheek and walked away. I drove off and went home. Finally. I went inside my house and started to walk up the stairs as I heard my mom.
"Hey. How was the date?" She asked.
"I've had better." I said, not wanting to talk about it.
I still miss Amy. This date thing isn't working out. This isn't helping me forget her at all. It actually made me miss her more. She had a way better attitude than Tiffany. And she wouldn't want to have sex on the first date either. I changed into my pjs and slid into bed. God Amy, why are you so perfect?
