One Love
Chapter One
Chapter 1
- day before my fifth birthday -
" Your funny!" I said gripping my sides, as my face turned red from laughing so much. He was laughing just as much as me. We sat on a park bench talking the whole time.
"Come on sweety, its time to go see your dad." My mum said, pulling me from the little boy. I looked at him sadly, as my mum grabbed my hand, pulling me down the street.
" Bye Louis!!" I yelled, waving back at him.
" Bye!" He called back.
- 13 years later -
" Screw you mom! I can take care of myself! " I yelled in frustration as I grabbed my bag and ran out the front door. I ran down the street back to the place I would always go to comfort myself. The place where I met that funny boy. I sat on the park bench, and sighed in frustration. I don't get why I cant live on my own. I mean I'm 18, and can take care of myself, but apparently my mum thinks differently.
" Excuse me. Are you alright?" A familiar voice asked. I looked up and realization hit me. It had been almost 13 years sense I last saw this boy.
" Louis?" I looked at him again, taking in every inch of his face.
" The one and only! " He yelled picking me up in a bone crushing hug. Man its been to long. " What's wrong? "
" Nothing, just I have no place to stay, and...." I trailed off.
" What? Well you can stay with me. " Man I love this guy. I don't see why my mum wouldn't let us hang out when I was little, I mean sure he's 2, 3 years older than me but he's nice. He never hurt me or did anything to me like my father did. He noticed me hesitate. " erm.... I mean you don't have to if you don't want to. "
" Yes I would love to Louis. " I said, grabbing hold of my bag. We spent the rest of our time walking to his place, catching up. It was weird in a way he felt like an older brother to me. He told me about his life in his band called one direction, and about his sweet girlfriend named Eleanor. I told him about my boring life with my mum and what happened today when I told my mum I was thinking about renting out my own flat, not that I can afford it but I could get a job, but my mom didn't think I was responsible enough.
" so here I am, talking to you. " I said, looking up at him as he stopped in front of a big building.
