For Your Eyes Only

I was nervous standing in the booth with Aaron, I was expecting him to start setting up a laptop but he didn’t. All he did was turn to me with a smile and then began to talk.
“So I hear you have written a couple of songs any chance I can hear a couple, and then we can discuss this song contract with Ruby”
“Contract”
“Yes but first sing”
I walked in to the booth and picked up a guitar that was in there, placing my fingers on the strings I began to sing the song I wrote called Distance. I started to tear up slightly thinking of Harry and Niall, the song came to an end and Aaron had a big smile on his face.
“Oh my god I love it”
I walked out of the booth and sat next to him on the chairs, I couldn’t’t contain my smile.
“Olivia that was beautiful what inspired that song”
“A guy or two inspired me”
“Well it’s great now about this contract with Ruby, we will record the song here and then we will discuss a music video when we get to that point, so are you up for this”
“Yeah totally, I can’t believe this is happening”
“Well believe it here I have the contract already printed just read it and sign it and then send it back to me then I will be in contact”
“Woah thank you so much Aaron”
“No problem it was a pleasure to see you I look forward to working with you”
“So do I”
We walked out of the booth I looked to my left and saw all the guys standing outside their booth watching me. Louis signalled thumbs up or thumbs down and I simply put my thumbs up but concentrated back to escorting Aaron out.
“Goodbye Olivia”
“Bye Aaron”
Turning around I heading on up to my office where I couldn’t help but just run to Jade screaming. She copied my reaction clearly clicking on to how successful the meeting went.
“So explain”
“Well...”
“Olivia why didn’t you tell me I’m your brother how did Louis know”
“Haha well no one knew it sort of slipped out when I was talking to him last night”
“Well how did it go?”
Before I could answer the phone went off in my office I excused myself to answer the phone.

Olivia it’s Alice
Alice what’s wrong you’re crying
It’s Fred
What’s happened is Fred ok
He had a crash he is in hospital
Alice I will be there as soon as I can is he still alive
He’s breathing
I won’t be long”
With that I hanged up I didn’t realise the tears that were falling, everyone had heard but they still didn’t know fully what was happening.
“Liam can you please look after the studio”
“Of course what has happened?”
“Fred he had a crash and he is in a bad way”
“Go and keep me updated, Jade no wait you can’t drive guys can one of you take her she can’t drive in this state”
“Li-“
“No you won’t be fine, urmm Niall you’re the only one that is free do you mind”
“Not at all”
“I will be fine”
“Olivia don’t argue Niall will take you hand him your keys”
I handed my keys to Niall to be fair I did need someone to take me I could barley function I was in shock. I couldn’t lose Fred I just couldn’t. Getting in the car the music was on low and there was complete silence between me and Niall for most of the journey.
“Livy he’s going to be ok”
“You don’t know that what if I lose him, I can’t lose my brother Niall I can’t”
“You won’t ok don’t think about that just think positive ok”
“Little Rosie what about Rosie, she needs her dad”
“Babe she will Fred is a very strong guy and he will pull through this ok”
“Ok... Niall I know were meant to be having distance and everything but can you come in with me please”
“Of course I will”
“I just don’t think I can face it on my own”
“I will be right by your side”
“Thank you”
We were soon at the hospital walking through all the wards until I found Alice sat outside a room holding Rosie.
“Alice”
“Olivia... he’s been rushed in to surgery there was an internal bleed... I don’t know what is happening”
“Oh my god... No... he’s going to be ok right... he has to be ok”
“Olivia take it easy just take a breath”
“I...I can’t lose him... please oh god please... I have to ring Dad.... he needs to know”
“Babe breath, look at me”
I looked at Niall deep in to his eyes and did as he said I took in a few deep breaths and calmed down. I looked up to see Rosie asleep in Alice’s arms and I couldn’t help but just smile slightly.
“Sorry for freaking out Alice”
“Don’t be silly; I can call Darrell if you like I need some air anyway can you hold Rosie”
“Of course thank you”
I took Rosie in my arms taking a seat and Niall took a seat next to me, I looked down and just smiled.
“You know little Rosie you’re so damn cute, I wish I will have a little girl as cute as you one day”
“You want kids”
I froze slightly I almost forgot about Niall being there, it was a bit awkward but I looked up at him and the awkwardness just slipped away.
“Yeah one day”
“What happened today then with Aaron you didn’t have a chance to tell us”
“Oh well, he wanted to hear a song so I sang to him and then he has given me a contract for the song with Ruby”
“That’s amazing well done babe”
He brought me in to a side hug kissing my forehead; I couldn’t help but smile up to him seeing him with the same reaction. Our little moment was interrupted by a doctor coming out of the surgery room looking around trying to find Alice.
“Hi I’m Olivia Fred’s sister is he ok?”
“Oh hi yes Alice said you would be turning up, right now he is in a critical state he has lost a lot of blood and we don’t have enough to give him”
“Take mine”
“It’s not that simple”
“It is Niall I am his sister we must be a match right doctor”
“We can test”
“What’s going on?”
“Alice he needs blood there going to test mine”
I handed over Rosie to Alice and then followed the doctor I didn’t realise until his hand touched mine that Niall had followed me.
“Told you I will be by your side”
“Thank you”
I took a seat in the chair and they took some blood and tested it quickly to find I was the perfect match. Soon they were taking a few pints and went back to the surgery.
“How you feeling Livy”
“A bit dizzy but I will be ok”
“Liam said he’s going to come down I can leave when he gets here”
“No...I mean please stay I won’t be able to drive back”
“Good point”
“And I don’t want you to leave... I mean I just...”
“Livy why are you panicking about asking me to stay”
“I just.... we’re meant to be keeping our distance but”
“I’m here as a friend to support you ok”
“I know I just I don’t know if I want you here as a friend though”
“What are you saying?”
“I don’t know, Niall I don’t feel good”
“I will get a doctor”
He ran out and soon a doctor followed in the room he was asking me questions but I couldn’t form any words. It was such a weird experience they injected something in to me and soon Liam was by my side whilst Niall went to get some food. It wasn’t long until I was back sat outside along with Alice and little Rosie, after eating I was feeling a lot better and less dizzy. Soon the doctor came out and we all jumped out our seats.
“It was a success we have taken him through there for his recovery; thanks to your blood Olivia it really saved his life”
Alice and Liam walked towards the room whilst I turned around to face Niall stopping him from walking. He paused and looked down at me with a questioning look.
“He’s ok”
“Yes he is and it’s because of you”
“I haven’t lost him”
“No you haven’t go see him Livy”
“Come with me?”
“Of course”
We walked towards the room and I took a hold of his hand as I saw Fred laying there looking so fragile. I held on to Niall’s hand and Liam pulled me in to a side hug kissing my forehead.
“Alice if you and Olivia wanted to stay I can take Rosie back with me”
“Oh will you, I was going to ask but I wasn’t sure”
“Of course I will I have Jade to help and the other lads I’m sure we can manage”
“Thank you Liam I will just go grab her stuff out the car”
“Niall can you stay with Olivia whilst I sort Rosie out”
“Of course”
They walked away and I don’t know why but I didn’t want Niall to leave me I didn’t want to be left her with Alice I just wanted him next to me. The only thing stopping me from saying this was Harry the friendship I can ruin that so I stayed quiet. When Alice came back I got up and followed Niall out of the room giving him a hug I thanked him before he soon left. I felt lonely without him I wanted him back but instead I walked back in to the room where my brother was laying.

It has been a couple of days since Fred’s accident and Dad was due home today. I was sat by Fred’s side he was a wake now and was nervous about Dad coming up to meet him. It wasn’t long until he walked through the door and went straight to his side.
“Oh son how are you?”
“I’m okay, I’m alive because of this one here”
“Olivia what is he talking about”
“He needed blood that is all”
“You saved him oh Livy, have they said when you will be out”
“Darrell hi”
“Alice you’re looking well”
“Thank you, the doctors said tomorrow he can be released”
“Oh brilliant, son I will be back up later we came straight from the airport to here so I will drop my stuff of”
“Ok Dad oh Olivia will come with you she has something to show you”
“Okay come on then If we go now we I can be back up soon”
We said our goodbyes I knew exactly what I had to show them well who I had to show them. Getting in the car I saw Karen I asked them both how their time away was they absolutely loved it. They were glad to be home though, I text Liam to let them know we were on our way home and he said Harry had Rosie in the garden out of the way. Walking through the front door everyone said their hellos and the maids moved the bags up to their room. I walked straight to the garden to see Harry holding Rosie.
“You’re such a natural Harry”
“You think”
“absolutely you will make a great father one day”
“Thank you”
“Now let me have my little niece”
“Haha of course”
Harry passed her over to me and I rocked her slightly he stayed close to me titling my head up to look him deep in his eyes.
“You will make a great mother one day as well”
“Thank you, now I think it’s time little Rosie meets his Grandparents”
“This is going to be great!”
“I hope so”
Walking through the house I stood behind my dad and Karen I cleared my throat to silence the chatter and soon spoke out.
“So do you want to meet your Granddaughter?”
“Wh-what oh my this is Fred’s daughter?”
“Yes dad her name is Rosie would you like to hold her”
“Yes...”
I handed over Rosie to Dad and I saw the tears begin to fill up and fall down his face.
“Rosie... named after your mother”
“Yes... isn’t she adorable”
“So beautiful, Karen come see”
“No it’s ok I will leave you to bond”
“Karen she’s going to need a Grandmother and you are married to my dad so technically you qualify for that role so come meet Rosie”
“Alright Olivia I just didn’t want to impose”
“We are your family now you can’t impose on family”
The night went on and Dad went back up to the hospital with Karen, Alice took Rosie home with her so it left me, Liam, Jade, Niall, Louis and Zayn.
“Let’s have a movie night”
“Alright Jade pick a movie and Olivia grab the alcohol me and the lads will order the food”
“Does it really take all five of you to order food?”
“Yeah got problem with that Olive?”
“Not at all Lou carry on”
With that I left the room to get all the alcohol thankfully Zayn decided to come and help. I don’t know how I would of been able to carry everything in.
“Thank you for helping Zayn”
“No problem, now let’s go get drunk maybe we can all skinny dip later”
“Haha Maybe...”
With that we headed back to the room and we had a laugh watching a film eating and drinking the only sad thing was I didn’t have Niall or Harry to end the night with. I couldn’t let that ruin my night though I had to push that thought to back of my mind it seemed Harry and Niall wasn’t even thinking about me so I should do the same about them.
