For Your Eyes Only

Tonight was going really well little Rosie was just a dream to look after well when she wasn’t crying but we got the guitar out and sang together which sent her off to sleep. Also though it was easy because of having a lot of help from everyone else but I was still doing the most.
“Livy you would make a great mum one day”
“Oh shh Jade doubt that would ever happen, besides right now I am the cool Auntie”
“The coolest, where are the others”
“Think they all went to the cinema room leaving the women to mother the baby”
“Haha well then have you thought about where you will put her down to sleep?”
“Yeah the love seat Niall and Harry built a little fence of pillows so she won’t fall off”
“So cute have you thought about what you’re going to do with Niall and Harry”
“I really don’t know I have special moments with both of them and it just makes things harder”
“I get it, little Rosie is so cute”
“She really is can’t believe my brother didn’t tell me about her sooner”
“Yeah it is a bit weird but hey he has now”
“Yeah, look Jade you can go to Liam if you want I know you want to really”
“You sure”
“Of course”
I watched as she walked towards the cinema room I moved Rosie over to the love seat and placed her down covering her up with the little blanket we had for her. I was going to stay on the floor next to her just in case the pillows didn’t work and so I can get to her quickly when she cries. I took a seat next to the chair pulling up the guitar from earlier, playing a few chords I sung softly remembering old song my mother used to sing to me. I then just started to play my new song I wrote when I was up with my mum I forgot about everyone being in the house in this moment it was just me and little Rosie. Finishing my song I put the guitar down looking down at Rosie peacefully sleeping snoring ever so lightly.
“Was that your other song?”
I turned around to see Niall walking over to me with that little smile of his I just adore. Taking a seat next to me it was automatic that I leaned in to his body frame.
“Yeah it was”
“It was beautiful”
“How long have you been listening”
“When you started your song”
“Oh”
“Sorry I just wanted to listen”
“It’s ok”
“How’s little Rosie doing?”
“She is doing good fallen asleep now can’t believe I have a little niece”
“Well you are going to be the best Auntie ever”
“Ha-ha thank you, so is the song alright for you guys?”
“Yeah it’s working out really well actually; we are going to call it ‘If I Could Fly’ if that’s alright with you”
“Yeah that sounds perfect to me, you know Niall you never finished playing Temporary Fix to me”
“Your right I didn’t, I’m sorry well at the studio tomorrow I will ok”
“Ok, Niall when do you guys go off I mean Jade was talking to me and saying that you guys would be off soon promoting the album and all”
“Oh yeah well we don’t know yet but could be in a month’s time depends when the album is actually finished don’t worry you are stuck with us for a bit longer”
“Haha good, it’s going to be weird when you guys do leave though”
“Yeah but we will always come back I mean to visit”
“Good”
I looked up to him and he was looking straight back down to me instantly our lips connected I could feel myself getting lost in to the kiss but soon Rosie was awake and crying. I moved from Niall’s arms laughing slightly and moved to pick up Rosie rocking her once again sending her off in to a deep sleep. After a while I went over the notes Alice left me and saw she might need feeding during the night. At this point Niall had gone up to bed after a lot of convincing he soon went up so it was just me and to be honest I wasn’t doing a bad job. Walking in to the kitchen I jumped slightly seeing Harry standing by the sink he heard Rosie crying and turned his attention to me.
“Sorry did she wake you up”
“No babe not at all I just needed a drink and I was going to see how you were doing but you were asleep”
“Oh right I’m doing a great job I think she needs feeding though, can you hold her whilst I sort it out”
“Of course, come to Harry little Rosie”
I laughed slightly and walked over to the milk and bottles I have been using, I looked over to see the crying dying down. I watched how engrossed Harry was with Rosie this sight would make everyone melt.
“Can I feed her?”
“Sure Harry here”
I passed the bottle over and watched how good Harry was with little Rosie, we walked back in to the living room where we placed Rosie down and she was fast asleep.
“You’re great with kids Harry”
“You sound surprised”
“I am slightly”
“Well I guess they just love me”
Slightly laughing I finally looked up in to his eyes smiling, before anything we put Rosie back down and I looked but up to him once again. We leaned in to one another and our lips connected hands cupping my face bringing me in closer to his body. Kissing Harry was great but somehow I wanted to be kissing Niall instead this was the first time I have ever felt like I knew who I wanted. Pulling apart Harry gave me this smile and a kiss on the forehead instantly changing my thoughts. Damn it why does this have to happen.

Putting the car seat in was harder than I thought, I had to result to leaving Liam to do deal with putting it in. Everyone said bye to Rosie and Jade jumped in the car with me whilst everyone else went on off to the studio.
“So Jade guess what?”
“What Livy”
“Last night well early morning I guess Harry helped me with Rosie feeding her and everything and when we kissed I honestly thought that I didn’t want him I wanted Niall”
“Oww so what happened I can see a but coming”
“Well then he smiled and kissed my forehead and I’m back to square one”
“So hard being you”
“It really is”
“So how long until your brother’s house”
“Just around the corner”
I pulled up and before I could even take my belt of Fred was out of the house running to the door to see Rosie. It was so great to see how happy he was, Alice came out after smiling as well.
“You have a good night you two”
“Yeah was alright missed my little girl though how was she”
“She was really good actually Fred”
“Good thank you again”
“No problem don’t be a stranger though I need to see her for her to realise I am the coolest Auntie”
“Of course when is Dad back?”
“In a couple of weeks”
“Ok don’t tell him about Rosie I want her to be a surprise”
“Of course, right must go to work I will see you later and goodbye my little Rosie”
Jumping back in to the car I waved goodbye and we were soon at my Studio walking through everyone would say hello to me. I know this is because I am the boss but I also like to think that they loved working for me and actually liked me. Jade went on up to my office whilst I got pulled in to a studio room with Ben with a new artist called Ruby.
“Hello Ruby I hear that you have an amazing song for me to hear”
“Yeah well working on it and Ben here said you might be able to help if you had free time that’s all”
“Urmm sure I mean let me just call up to my assistant to see if I’m needed and I will work something out just hold on a minute”
She was a little bit older than me but was so nice and genuine as I walked out of the booth I caught eyes with Liam, Louis, Niall, Zayn and Harry. I had to fake a smile to hide how annoyed at Ben I was, but before I could approach them Ben came out pulling me to one side.
“How could you Ben”
“I just thought with you writing again”
“Yes but seriously you could of text me and warned me I’m still getting back in to the swing of things”
“Olivia everything alright”
I turned around to see Liam talking and everyone else behind him looking at me and Ben.
“Yeah fine Liam, Ben go back in I will be down in a few minutes”
Ben nodded and headed back in to the booth I went to walk away but Liam was now the one pulling me back to one side.
“What happened you sure you are ok?”
“Yeah just got a new artist in there and Ben suggested I should help with the writing and it just threw me out a bit I guess”
“Don’t do anything you don’t want to”
“I know but I need to see if I’m free anyway have a good day”
“You to come find me if you need me”
“Thanks Liam”
Walking away I heard him explain it to the other lad’s what had happened, getting up to my office Jade was currently on the phone but soon hanged up as I took a seat on her desk.
“So Jade please tell me I am fully booked”
“I’m sorry but no tomorrow you are though today just some paper work need filling out”
“Damn it”
“Why?”
“Ben told Ruby the new artist that I could help with a song she is having problems with”
“Owww good can I come down”
“Yeah I guess”
“You will be fine come on you wrote two songs and have given one of them to One Direction so you can do it girl”
“Fine let’s go then”
Walking back down I noticed Harry was standing out in the corridor on his phone he caught my eye and just gave me a smile before going back to his phone call. I walked on in to the booth to see Ruby greeting Jade and then turning her attention to me as Ben and Jade sat down and watched. The song she had already was really good just needed a more lyrics and a few tweaks on the chorus.
“So what is the song really about you have the first few lines which sound good but what did you want the song to say?”
“Well I want it to be a love song like I fell in love with this guy when I was over at the States and just yeah”
“Ok well the first line doesn’t really make sense so how about instead of:

I laughed along and an hour later we had a solid first verse and chorus it was sounding amazing. Jade and Ben were loving it but they soon popped out as Liam invited Jade and Ben to lunch we were invited as well but we were on a roll with the song at the moment.
“So Olivia have you ever thought about becoming a singer yourself?”
“Urmm when I was younger but right now I have to run the studio and I am only just getting back in to music so I’m alright with being behind the scenes”
“But you have such an amazing voice and talent I would love it if this song me and you did it as a duet”
“What? Really?”
“Yes I mean I will talk to my management but I know as soon as they hear you they would love the idea”
“Whoa that is such a lovely offer but let’s get the song finished before we get a head of ourselves”
“Of course we nearly done though”
“Nearly it helps a lot when the melody is down and it’s just the lyrics and with your story it is really easy to write”
“Well you are doing a great thank you”
“You’re helping as well it’s not just me”
We carried on writing and two hours later we had a song a full song it was amazing I have never written a song so quickly with someone before. Ruby was great with melody and picking the right pitch were as I was really good at picking the right lyrics. Ruby was about to go in to the mic booth when Ben, Jade and Liam came in to the booth.
“Oh my you’re Liam Payne”
“Hey yeah and you are?”
“Liam this is Ruby the new artist I am working with”
“Hi Ruby hope my sister has been good to you”
“Sister I thought I saw you somewhere yeah she is an amazing song writer and singer, in fact Ben you work the desk Olivia come and sing with me”
“No it’s really ok”
“Go ahead sis or I will bring the others in as well”
“You are just going to call them in anyway”
I got of my seat and walked in to the booth with Ruby, of course Liam did in fact ask Louis, Zayn, Harry and Niall to come in. Ruby freaked out a little and I just turned my back to them they have heard me sing before but never in the range we did this song in. They have heard me just being soft and gentle not hearing a bit of power behind my voice.

Taking in a deep breath placing the headphones over my ears I looked over to Ruby who was smiling ear to ear. The music began and I closed my eyes not looking at any of the lads as I began to sing with Ruby.

Ruby practically screamed taking her headphones off and wrapping her arms around me, I must admit it did sound pretty great the song was going to be a hit with Ruby’s vocal. Taking my headphones off I followed Ruby out of the booth to have everyone clapping my eyes instantly landed on to Niall and Harry. I put my head down and excused myself walking out of the booth I needed some air for some reason I just needed space. Walking past some people I finally got outside; walking a bit further down I took a seat at one of the empty benches finally catching my breath. I didn’t understand what was going on I was fine until I looked at Niall and Harry this was just so weird. I felt someone sit down next to me but they didn’t speak instead they handed over a fag, I noticed the tattoo and happily accepted. Lighting up the fag I never normally smoked but sometimes I had acceptations.
“What happened then Olivia?”
“To be honest Zayn I really don’t know I just as soon as I looked over to Niall and Harry I needed air”
“It got too much for you; by the way your voice is incredible”
“Yeah it did and really you think that?”
“Yes we all do, we were shocked when you started singing like we knew you could sing but girl you have a set of pips on you”
“Ha-ah thanks so how are you and Danielle?”
“Good actually really good”
“Aww you’re blushing”
“Stop now are you going to come back in I hear we have a song to play you”
“Ahh yes Niall never played me the finish version”
“Well lets go then”
Putting out the fags we jumped up and headed back inside I felt a bit more at ease I still didn’t quite understand why I felt the way I did but I decided to just shake the feeling. Walking back in I saw Ruby on the way out and said goodbye and gave her my number to keep in contact with me. We headed to the new booth were the lad’s were in opening the door I just nodded to everyone and took a seat next to Jade. Liam, Louis, Harry and Niall was in the booth and Zayn walked in behind them all, Ben hit the microphones on so we could now hear them all.
“So Livy as promised here is the finished version of Temporary Fix”
I just smiled and looked up watching Harry and Niall prepare themselves to sing. The music started and the song began, listening to the words I could see exactly how I was the inspiration. Watching how Harry and Niall looked over to me singing there verses to me, it made me go weak inside I needed one of them soon.
