For Your Eyes Only

Waking up I was in the arms of Niall, he was already awake looking down at me with a small smile across his face. Last night’s events were easy to remember and I knew today I was going to be talking to Harry. Nothing was said between me and Niall mainly because Jade burst in getting us to come down and enjoy the breakfast her and Liam made. I stayed in Niall’s top and he just went down in his boxers matching everyone else, as we entered the kitchen I took a seat next to Jade and Louis, Niall was sat opposite me then Zayn and Harry joined us taking the other seats available.
“Thanks Liam and Jade what made you do this?”
“Well Livy we thought it would be nice to all have something that’s all”
We all just nodded and tucked in to the buffet breakfast prepared across the table, I wasn’t really feeling like having much so I just ended up having some toast and making a smoothie for myself. I knew I wasn’t eating because I was shitting myself about talking to Harry today, he looked sad and wouldn’t even look in my direction. Breakfast was done with and everyone went their own way to get dressed walking in to my room I wanted something simple so some jean shorts and a blue light jumper with the words ‘Beach Bum’ written across. Walking out of my room I was met with Harry walking out of his. Putting my phone in my pocket and my sun glasses on I then reached my hand out for him to take, with a bit of hesitation he soon took it and followed me down stairs to the garden where we were alone. We took a seat on the swinging garden chair and just stayed quiet for a few moments but I took in a deep breath and thought I should start but Harry beat me to it.
“Olivia look I know you have spoken to Niall last night he told me and I know you know exactly what we thought with your friends Luke and Mike and I feel so stupid for thinking it. For hiding as well from you that was stupid hearing Louis and Zayn, tell us you were looking for us I physical felt sick for blowing you off for some random girl. By the pool when you said alcohol speaks the truth well that night it wasn’t speaking the truth, because the truth is Olivia I have truly completely fallen for you. You are the only thing that is ever on my mind when I wake to when I fall asleep and hearing you say you have falling for me to just made me feel so happy I’m just truly sorry for that night I really am”
I wiped away a tear the slipped through my eye and looked back up to meet his gaze; he was so sad and so sorry. We were still alone outside and I couldn’t resist it I leaned in and placed a kiss on to those soft pink lips of his. He kissed me back even though it was a short kiss I felt a million times better.
“Harry, you shouldn’t be sorry I mean I had a few drugs that night and I wasn’t myself and I mean you put up with me going between you and Niall which isn’t fair and I know I have to make a choice but I just I don’t know. I mean last night with Niall I was thinking how easy it would be to pick him but now I’m thinking how easy it would be to just pick you”
“Olivia its ok we knew what we were going in to and like I have said before I always like a challenge”
“Hmm I promise though and please believe me I do not want to lead you both on to then just drop one of you last minute I’m not like that”
“We know, look we understand that you have blocked these feelings off for a long time and having two of course amazing guys like you like we do it’s hard we know it will take some time”
“You guys really are amazing”
“Well we do try”
“Harry you can Livy if you wanted”
“I like Olivia”
“Thanks and can you do me a favour”
“Of course”
“Get me everyone to come down to the music room”
“Ok why”
“Just do it”
“On one condition”
“What”
“Kiss me again”
I didn’t hesitate I leaned in and place a kiss on his lips once again I could feel both of us smiling in to the kiss making the kiss just feel so much more passionate in a sense. As we pulled apart, I walked to the music room whilst Harry went and got everyone else. I was nervous but when Niall walked in first and sat next to me he made me feel at ease knowing exactly what I planning on doing.
“You sure about this”
“Yes”
With that he moved away from the piano to some the row of seats they put in here for when they used the studio. Soon everyone else joined in with smiles on their faces but also looking really confused.
“So I had this idea and well you need a song right”
“Yeah”
“And I have written a song, my mum’s last song she always wrote for artists and her last piece should do the same. So if it fits and works for you guys I would like you to have it but change the title”
They all looked happy and Liam was the one smiling the most happy to finally hear the song, Jade sat there crying already happy and proud with what I was doing. I didn’t waste no time my fingers hit the keys and I began to sing ‘For Your Eyes Only’ it felt weird singing this in front of the two guys who helped inspire it though. With the last line sung I moved my hands from the keys and it was silent, not for long though I felt bodies jump on top of me saying how great it was and it could really work.
“That was in great Olivia”
“Thanks Lou”
“Yeah I think it could really work”
“Do you think Zayn?”
“Yeah sis you do not know how much you have just saved our arses right now”
With a light chuckle I finally handed over the music and lyrics to Liam, Niall and Harry hung back a bit waiting for me to approach them.
“So do you think it could work Niall?”
“Livy yeah I really do thanks for this it sounded amazing”
“Thank you”
“Yeah you really have pulled it off, your mother would be very proud of you with that”
“Thank you Harry, well I guess I will leave you guys to sort this out then Jade come on lets swim”
“You’re not going to help”
“Hey I wrote the song Lou you guys can figure the rest out”
With a few laughs I left the room with Jade it felt like a massive weight had been lifted I have sorted things out with Niall and Harry and now just let go to the last song of my mothers. It felt great though and on an even better note only two weeks until my dad would be back. Me and Jade got changed and headed for the pool we did a few lengths and then just climbed on to the inflatable sun beds and relaxed having a chitchat.
“You know when your dad gets back we should go on holiday you can take me to your favourite place you travelled to for a couple of weeks”
“You know that sounds like a great idea Jade”
“Yeah well the guys would be on tour or really busy I guess when they release their album so it’s not like we would be abandoning them”
“True very true, I didn’t even think about them going off but I suppose it won’t be long will it”
“No but Liam said they think they will use this place to always come back to”
“Well that would be nice”
“So you sorted things out with Niall and Harry?”
“Yeah last night I spoke to Niall”
“Just talk was it”
“Ha-ha surprisingly yeah it was I think that’s a first but it was weird because I was thinking how easy it would be to just pick Niall in that moment it thought he would be the one. Then today talking to Harry I thought the same about him I just don’t know what to do”
“It’s a tricky one; I mean you have been with Niall since day one in the sense really spending time with him. You only started to properly spend time with Harry when he was near to breaking up with Kendall”
“Yeah how does that help though?”
“Who do you miss the most during the day?”
“Both of them and at night both of them there isn’t a favourite the only thing I can say is if I got with Harry I would worry he would do to me what he did do Kendall. What if someone like the way I was did that to him again and he went with it”
“Hmm and Niall do you have any worries about him?”
“None”
“So pick Niall”
“But I really like Harry as well”
“Just let them know before they go off otherwise if they don’t know when they are away they might find someone else and you won’t be able to get mad at them”
“True yeah I will decide I promise who do you think I should pick?”
“Honestly Niall I mean don’t get me wrong Harry is lovely and you are happy around him and he managed to get you to overcome your fears, shit wait no go with Harry but then Niall always makes you happy when you are sad he would drop anything last minute if it meant helping you or seeing you. He came to me telling me has completely fallen for you... you know what I don’t know now actually they are both great for you”
“See my problem now”
“Yeah that sucks girl sorry”
“Hmm”
We finally moved of the subject of me, Niall and Harry and went on to talking about her and Liam. They seem so happy together and just have a perfect relationship it was love at first sight for them. We were just about to get out when we had splashes come from different areas of the pool completely soaking us. It wasn’t long either until we were both flipped off our beds and was now back in to the pool. Resurfacing I had Louis beaming down at me proud of what he had done, I looked around to see Zayn doing the same to Jade whilst Liam, Harry and Niall were setting up the volley ball net.
“You know Louis that wasn’t very nice”
“No but it was hilarious”
We started a splashing war to which I was completely losing but then I had Niall helping me which cause Louis to bring Harry to help him out. I gave in first as my vision was just a blur right now and it took me a while to be able to see clearly now.
“You alright Olivia”
“Yeah I can see clearly now thanks”
We divided up the teams apparently one team would have both me and Jade because girls were a disadvantage according to Louis but I wanted to make a point. So my team was me, Jade, Liam whilst Louis had Zayn, Niall and Harry with him. Probably not the best point I was making as we were currently losing so I stole Zayn he was by far better than Harry or Niall and suddenly my team were starting to win. Louis decided to throw a hissing fit at the end claiming we cheated walking back in doors whilst the rest of us just started to play other random games in the pool.
“Urmm Olivia there is someone at the door a guy called Fred”
“Fred’s here”
I couldn’t contain the smile I swam as quickly as I could to the side jumping out not bothering to get a towel or anything I ran on in doors. I heard as I left Jade explain it was brother, running through the house there he was by the front door I haven’t seen him in over two years.
“Olivia”
“Fred”
With that he picked me up not caring how wet I was and embraced me in to a tight hug. As he dropped me down he hugged me again but pulled away once more.
“I’m sorry I didn’t keep in touch or come sooner”
“It’s ok what’s been going on”
“Well there is someone I would like you to meet but I need you to get changed first”
“Ok, sit down if you like”
I ran up the stairs changing back in to my shorts and jumper soon running back down the stairs, as I turned to go in to the living room he was joined by a women who I guess was his girlfriend Alice. She has changed massively, walking over I then heard a baby cry.
“Oh my god”
I took a seat next to Fred and there Alice was holding a new born baby, I looked up to Fred and he just nodded answering my question before I could even ask it.
“Well Auntie Olivia this is Rosie mine and Alice’s daughter”
“Rosie, you named her after mum”
“Yeah Fred suggested it and I feel in love with the name, would you like to hold her”
“Yeah, oh my”
Alice passed the baby over to me and I took her in to my arms, she cried a bit but soon stopped I couldn’t help it I felt the tears begin to form in my eyes she was perfect.
“Hello Rosie, I’m Auntie Olivia the coolest Auntie you will ever have”
“Ha-ha yeah well considering you are the coolest Auntie we have a favour”
“What is it Fred?”
“Well I have this important dinner tonight with my company and I need Alice there for support”
“I would love to look after her”
“Thank you sis”
“Oh Fred have you met our new brother Liam”
“Briefly I hear he is living here with you guys”
“Yeah he is lovely”
“Is he here now?”
“Yeah in the garden”
“I will go say hello whilst Alice explains what you need to know”
Fred walked towards the garden and Alice went through the run down, I told her Rosie could stay the night and I will drop her home tomorrow which Alice actually seemed happy about. Just as she finished Fred arrived with Liam and Jade who both took a seat on the other sofa and Jade couldn’t help but let out an ‘Aww’.
“She is adorable”
“Yeah she is you sure you don’t mind Olivia”
“Nope you go Fred Auntie Olivia and Uncle Liam have got this”
“Thank you guys and Liam I just want to say I am sorry for not being so welcoming at the start”
“It’s absolutely no problem”
“Thanks again, so we will see you later tonight”
“Oh no I told Alice I will drop her round tomorrow for you guys just leave the car seat”
“Really whoa cheers, Liam can you come grab the seat”
“Yeah of course”
They left the house and Jade came and sat next to me I passed her over Rosie and she was a natural holding the baby.
“What’s her name?”
“Rosie”
“After your mum”
“Yeah”
“Well Rosie you are very pretty little girl”
“She sure is”
Liam walked back in and he took his turn in holding the baby, soon everyone else joined in sort of shocked with the new arrival to the house.
“Guys this is my niece Rosie we are looking after her tonight”
“This should be interesting”
“What do you mean by that Louis?”
“Just none of us have ever looked after a new born before going to be interesting that’s all”
“Well Alice gave me a run down on what to do sounds easy enough”
Everyone sort of just laughed at me and went to dry up and get changed I took a hold of the baby making funny noises and rocking her to calm her down. Niall was the first person to come back down, taking a seat next to me he took a hold of Rosie and started to sing to her. My heart just burst right at the moment, the moment was shortly lived as his phone went off and it was him mum causing him to jump up and leave me. I rocked Rosie once more and began to sing the song my mother always sang to me ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ half way through singing I looked around to see it was Harry who had joined in with me. Taking the seat beside me he sang along and soon Rosie was off to sleep in my arms, why did this always have to happen me and Niall have a moment and then straight after I have the same Heart bursting moment with Harry. This was definitely going to be a challenge picking between them why are they both so perfect.
