Cosmic Love

“ Happy happy birthday to youuu,” Harry sang waking me up in the hotel room that we share. Since I agreed to come last minute the two of us had to share a hotel room, but neither of us really minded. It’s March 13th and we’re in Paris the city of love.

“Thank you,” I said rolling over in my bed to face him as he sat up in his bed smiling at me.

“So I was thinking that tonight after the concert we go and see the eiffel tower. If we leave as soon as it ends we’ll make it just in enough time to see it light up one more time,”

“That sounds amazing. It’s always been on my bucket list and I’d love to check it off on my 21st birthday,”

“Your wish is my command. I have sound check at three, so until then do you want to go to Disneyland or Notre-dame?”

“Actually I was wondering if we could try and find Point Zéro dec Routes de France? The reasoning behind it is somewhat dorky,”

“Intriguing. Please explain,” He replied with a smirk and I should’ve expected it. I set myself up for this.

“When I was thirteen I read the book Anna and the French Kiss and in it Anna and the guy she fell in love with went and made a wish. Ever since I’ve always wanted to do the same,”

“That’s actually really sweet. I say we do it. I’m going to get dressed and as you’re getting ready I’ll order breakfast for us,”

“Sounds like a plan,” I said just as my phone began to ring and my dad’s face popped up on the screen. I answered it and when I did the faces of my brothers, sister, mom, and dad appeared with smiles on their faces.

“Happy birthday!” They all exclaimed at the same time causing me to laugh and I’m pretty sure I was blushing.

“Thank you. I miss you guys so much,”

“We miss you too,” My mom said smiling at me.

“I miss you the most though,” Harper said and my heart couldn’t handle it. Harper has always been my little buddy and best friend.

“I miss you too Harps. I’ll be home sooner than you know,”

“So what are you plans for today other than the concert?” Brooklyn asked me.

“We’re going to find point zero and make wishes and then after the concert we’re going straight to the Eiffel tower,”

“You’ve been bugging us to go there for years. I’m glad you’re finally able to go. It’s also really good to see a genuine smile on your face especially after what happened with Anthony,” My dad spoke up.

“Hey guys can you give me, dad,and mom some time alone please?” I asked my siblings and they said goodbye as I plugged my headphones in.

“What’s going on lady?” My mom asked once it was just the three of us.

“I really like Harry, but I’m not sure if he feels the same way and then again I’m nervous because of how my relationship with Anthony played out in the public and how he treated me through it all,” Anthony and I dated when we both were eighteen and he was caught publically cheating on me, but I stayed with him. As he was touring he kept finding different girls to cheat on me with and he made me believe it was my fault. All in all it was a very unhealthy relationship that I needed to get out of long before I actually did get out of it.

“I’ve met Harry before and he is nothing like Anthony. He’s way better than Anthony in every other way as well. Even though you’ve known each other in such a short amount of time he cares about you, I mean who stays up with a 20 year old during a thunderstorm,” My dad said.

“I haven’t met him yet but Niall seems to trust him with you and I trust Niall’s judgement. Trust me if he was bad or was going to hurt you Niall wouldn’t be encouraging this relationship. Also trust your own instincts,” my mom said.

Harry’s P.O.V
“I trusted my instincts with Anthony though and I was proved wrong. What if I’m wrong again mom? I really like Harry and I don’t want to mess anything up,” I heard Diana say from the other side of the bathroom door. I know it’s wrong of me to listen to her conversation, but at least I have confirmation that she likes me. This will make her birthday present that much better.

“Okay, you’re right. I guess I’ll see where the path leads me and go from there. He should be out soon. Thank you for the birthday wishes and I love you both so much,” I heard her say. I waited a little bit in the bathroom before walking out fully ready for the day.

“Your turn,” I said smiling at her before walking into the living room portion of our suite. I ordered us each an order of pancakes and then sent a text to Lou asking her if she would be willing to come with Diana and I to the Eiffel tower tonight. Twenty minutes later Diana came and joined me on the couch and we just talked about everything. She told me a little more about what it was like for her to grow up while I told her about my childhood. Soon after our breakfast arrived and her face lit up.

“A girl who loves pancakes,” she said noticing my laughter as she did a little happy dance after taking a bite of her pancakes.

“I can tell,” I said. After breakfast I grabbed my phone and wallet while she grabbed her phone and purse and we made our way outside to find her dream spot. On our search to find it she told me all about some of the traditions people do there and she was getting so excited. I noticed that when she’s excited she scrunches her nose and her eyes have a little twinkle to them.

“So what’s the one tradition you were hoping to do once you got there?” I asked her as she clung to my arm and looked up at me.

“I was hoping that by the time I got here I would be with someone I loved and I really wanted to kiss them there for eternal devotion,” She said and this broke my heart a little bit, but it was also in that moment that I knew I would bring her back here one day no matter the cost.

“Well you can still make a wish while we’re there. What is your preferred method of the wishes?” I asked.

“I think I’m going to spin around on one foot. You’re going to make a wish also right?”

“Of course, but I’m going to toss a coin instead. I don’t think it will be as cute for me to spin as it will be for you,”

“I think it would be, but you do you,” She said hugging closer to me and this made my choice about tonight that much easier.

“Make a wish,” I said to her as we approached the point.

Bella’s P.O.V
“Make a wish,” Harry said to me as I approached the point. I’ve been waiting to come here for years and I need to make my wish count. This is the most important moment of my life it seems like and I don’t want to waste it. Once I was sure I had the perfect wish I spun around and made it. When I was done I turned and looked at harry expantly.

“Make your wish,” I encouraged him. He turned around and threw the coin over his shoulder.

“Now we wait and see if they come true,” He said just as fans began to surround us. Thankfully we had one of his bodyguards with us.

“We should probably uber back,” The bodyguard said to us. Harry nodded his head and we were lead into a bakery to wait for our uber. Once it was there we rushed into it and Harry and I laughed before riding in silence for a bit.

“Thank you for that, thank you for bringing me here with you,” I said looking up at him sincerely.

“You’re welcome,” He said before surprising me with a kiss. I seriously think my heart stopped for a second before bursting outside of my chest. This kiss in this moment is the one thing I didn’t think I needed, but ended up needing.

“That was nice,” was all I said afterward. That was nice? Really Bella? Get your act together girl!

“I want to say a very happy birthday to my favorite lady out there, Diana! I hope today is all that you hoped for and more! Now here comes Kiwi I hope you guys enjoyed tonight and thank you for coming!” Harry exclaimed into the microphone. I watched the concert in the barricade next to Lou Teasdale who I’ve gotten closer to throughout the night. As soon as he finished Kiwi Lou and I walked backstage.

“So your god-father is really Mark Ruffalo?” Lou asked me in shock and I laughed. Many don’t associate him and either of my parents, but he and my dad are actually best friends and have been for years.

“He’s my papa Hulk,” I said causing her to laugh.

“What’s so funny you two?” Harry asked coming and giving us both a hug.

“I just informed Lou on who my godfather is,” I informed him.

“Ahh. Well we should get going if we want to get to the Eiffel Tower in time. We’re Lou’s ride so she’s going to tag along. I hope that’s okay,”

“That’s perfectly fine with me,” I said smiling at the pair. Harry then took a hold of my hand and lead the two of us out to the car that was waiting for us. When got in Lou and I told Harry how amazing he did tonight. Once a few blocks away we got out and the three of us walked to the tower.

“I’m going to find the loo, but I’ll be back,” Lou said before leaving myself and Harry alone. I looked up at the beautiful monument and just like everything else today I was blown away with the beauty of it.

“You’ve made this one of the best birthdays ever,” I said to Harry asked I continued to look up.

“I have something I’d like to ask you and I do have a gift for you in the hotel room,”

“Okay, ask away,” I said turning to face him. When I looked at him fear and nervousness were written all over his face. I could tell that this question was torturing him, but he needed something from me. He needed an answer, and now I’m worried that I’ll be giving him the wrong answer.

“Feel free to say no since we’ve only known each other for a few months, but in those months I’ve felt a strong connection between us and well I was hoping you felt the same way. I would really like it if you would maybe be my girlfriend,” Harry blurted out and noticeable weight wasn’t only lifted from his shoulders, but mine as well. This is what I wished for today and have been waiting for for a month or so, yet my mouth can’t seem to form the words to say yes so I simply nod.

“Yes?” Harry asked me with wide eyes.

“Yes!” I exclaimed with a laugh and he hugged me tight. There was a flash and the location of that flash came from Lou’s phone as she held a smile on her face.

“We should probably get going love birds. We have a flight in a little bit,” Lou shouted at us and we pulled apart and headed towards the car holding hands. When we got back to the hotel room I packed my bag and changed into my pajamas and got into my bed.

“How was your birthday love?” Harry asked walking out of the bathroom in only red flannel pajama pants.

“Best birthday ever!”
