Cosmic Love

It’s time to get ready for the party and I’m actually sort of nervous to go with Harry. Like I really like him, but I also don’t want to fuck things up tonight. Basically I have an irrational fear of messing things up. Right now I’m in my room about to put on my outfit. I just got out of the shower and I feel insanely refreshed. After getting completely dressed I went into the bathroom and blow dried my hair so I could straighten it.

“Diana?”

“In here,” I shouted back as I finished blow drying the last section. Just as I turned off the blow drier Harry appeared completely dressed.

“I was wondering if you were ready to go, but I can see you’re not. I’ll meet you downstairs though,”

“I’m not going to lie it will probably be a little while longer I still have to straighten it,”

“Okay. See you in a bit then,” He said before leaving my room completely. Once he was gone I sectioned off my hair and it took me thirty minutes to straighten it. Once I was done I got my clutch and walked downstairs to where I found Harry waiting on me.

“You look amazing Diana,” Harry said giving me a hug.

“You don’t look too bad you’re self,” I said to him, “We should probably head out. Do you want to drive or should I?”

“Actually if you’ll take a peek outside you will see a surprise,” Harry said opening the front door for me and that’s where I found a limo waiting on me. I turned and looked at him in shock.

“You didn’t have to do this,”

“I know, but I wanted to. Let’s get to going then,” He said allowing me to walk out in front of him and then closing the door behind him. I waited for him and when he caught up with me he took a hold of my hand and walked me to the limo. When he opened the door for me I found the whole cast sitting waiting on me.

“Took you long enough,” Logan said and I rolled my eyes in response.

“It takes time to look this pretty, but of course you wouldn’t know about that,” I shot back at him while Harry got in and closed the door. Once he was seated he took ahold of my hand and just held it.

“It’s so crazy that this is the end of it all. The past six years of our lives have been intertwined and now I won’t see you guys as often,” Tyler piped up.

“It’s all so crazy. I’m going to miss you guys,” Ariana said while resting her head on Mac’s shoulder.

“Yeah don’t get sappy on me! We still have tonight to party away with each other. Also it’s not like we’re never going to see each other again,” I responded to the pair.

“She’s right. We still have our vacation soon,” David pointed out. The rest of the ride was full of us telling stories from the set and laughing a lot. When we finally got to the party Harry helped me out and we led the cast inside and of course there were paps there, but he held my hand anyways.

“Aren’t you worried about a story coming out?” I asked him.

“So what if it does?” He replied smiling down at me with a shrug and that warmed my heart and I smiled back at him. Once inside we began to dance the night away, but soon Harry and I found the photo booth and we rushed in it.

“So are we doing all serious or silly?” he asked and I gave him a smirk.

“A mixture of both,” After the five rounds of pictures we each got our strips and then I was stolen away by Ari because they wanted each cast member to say something. As I listened to the other’s speeches I began to cry which wasn’t very out of character for me. When it came to me I wiped my eyes and smiled.

“First like my family up here I would love to thank you all for coming tonight. When I first started the show I was hoping that it would have an impact on young girls and could show them that they could do and be anything they wanted in this world. I think we have accomplished it and I’m happy with the way it ended. Of course I would’ve liked to continue on longer because not only of the five people standing beside me, but the crew as well. You all made this Brit feel like an American right away and embraced me with open arms and I’m thankful for you all. I mean we did spend close to everyday together and you’ve watched us all grow up and mature into the lovely adults we are. I want to finish this before I break down again, so with that I want to thank you all and let you know that I’ll love you each forever,” I said before stepping away from the mic as they were clapping for us and the six of us took our final bow as a cast and then went back down and partied as the music started again.

“Hey David can you take a picture of Harry and I?” I asked and he agreed. We went out into the hallway there there was constant light and I leaned into him and smiled. David took a couple for us to choose from and then the three of us went back inside. Around midnight I was getting tired and wanted to go home so I went around and said my goodbyes to everyone.

“Ready?” Harry asked me and I nodded my head. As we got back in the limo I checked my phone and notice I had multiple texts from Niall, my parents, and Brooklyn all freaking out and asking me about Harry. I looked at the picture and it was the one of us holding hands. I replied to them all telling them that as of now we’re still just friends.

“Did you have fun?” I asked.

“I had a lot of fun. Tyler, Dylan, Logan and I are going out next time we’re all together. Thanks for inviting me,”

“You’re welcome. I enjoyed spending time with you,”

“I did too. You were the best date I could ever ask for. Speaking of dates are you ready for ours on Saturday?” He asked me and I nodded my head smiling like an idiot at him, “Good because so am I”.

Once back at the house Harry told the driver to go back to the party so that when the other five cast members wanted to go home they would have a ride. I went ahead inside while he talked to the driver and went into my room and started my shower. It was a twenty minutes shower, I know it’s excessive. Once out of the shower I put on my pajama pants with one of Niall’s shirts and then plopped down in my bed before looking through all the pictures I took tonight.

“Can I come in?” I heard Harry ask from the other side of the door.

“Come in,” I said locking my phone and putting it on the table next to me. Harry came and sat on the end of my bed and smiled at me.

“What?” I asked self consciously.

“Nothing. You just look like you’re in a cocoon,” He said smiling at me and causing me to loosen my grip on my comforter.

“Do you maybe want to lay with me and watch a movie for a bit?” I asked him.

“Sure. I don’t care what movie it is,” He said and I smirked before turning on my TV and switching over to the DVD player that currently held Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging. I’ve loved this movie ever since it came out and I’m actually friends with Georgia Groome.

“Don’t judge me, but I thought this was a pretty good movie,” Harry said once it was over.

“Why would I judge you? It’s one of of my favorites and plus one of my childhood friends is in it,” I said to him as I sat up and crossed my legs so I was facing him. He just rolled onto his side and used his arm to prop himself up.
“Have you seen the posts yet?” I asked breaking our silence after a minute or so.

“Yeah. My mom and sister both sent me texts asking about you,” He said.

“My parents and brothers saw it and asked me if we made it official,” I replied with a slight chuckle.

“I have a good feeling that one day we will,” He said to me and I raised my eyebrow at him, but just as I went to ask him there was a crash of thunder and the lights went out. I hate to admit it, but I’m still very afraid of storms and the dark so this is honestly my worst fear.

“I should probably head to bed,” Harry said getting from untangled from my covers, but before he could leave I grabbed onto his arm.

“Will you maybe stay in here with me tonight. I don’t really like storms and with the power out it’s worse. I guess now would be a good time that I’m prone to anxiety attacks and storms are the biggest cause of them,” I said to him.

“Do you want me to stay in the bed with you or the floor?” He asked me.

“You can stay in the bed,” I said and felt the bed shift and a leg touch mine under the cover. I knew he was here and he knew that one small touch would reassure me. I picked up my phone and started to play some of James Bay’s songs.

“Do you have a favorite author?” Harry asked me as I sat my phone in my lap.

“I’m a big fan of Sarah Dessen. I’ve read her books since I was twelve and I still love them. They are so realistic and I think that’s what I love most about them,” I said to him.

“Which of her books is your favorite?” He asked me as the screen from his phone illuminated his face.

“I don’t have a favorite because them all, but the one I’ve read the most is The Truth About Forever,” I replied looking over at him. He then began to type something into his phone and once he stopped her asked me to turn off my music and I did. As soon as I turned off my music the audiobook for The Truth About Forever came on. A few minutes in lightning stuck and thunder boomed. In response I scooted closer to Harry and clung onto his arm. He pulled his arm loose from my grip and then put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me close to him so my head was resting on his chest. Soon I felt myself drifting off as the words of my favorite author rang through my ears, the body of the man I’m crushing on kept me warm and safe, and the storm seemed so far away even though it was happening right outside my window.

Harry’s P.O.V
She was slowly falling asleep as she held onto my fingers. Each time I looked down to make sure she was okay she had a smile on her face and seemed very content with our current situation. I know I haven’t know her that long, but there are people who come into your life that you know that no matter what happens you want them to be a part of your life forever. She was the one I wanted in my life forever whether she is simply a friend or more. Once she was finally asleep I stopped the book and turned on music by The Fray and then I took a selfie of us and got on Instagram. I know what will happen as soon as I post this. Both of us were going to get bombarded with hate, questions, and support all at the same time. She was, she is, worth it though.

Long time no update! Sorry guys I've been studying for a midterm for the past six days so I've worked on this chapter here and there. I really hope you guys enough it though!
