High For This

Elizabeth’s Pov

We drove to the party according to Astrid happens to be her brothers friends party. He wa originally trying to keep it lowkey but failed when he was talking to his friends about it and Astrid being Astrid eavesdropped.

“Tonight is going to be memorable!” Astrid exclaimed as she parked her car. We got out of her car and that’s when I got real cold.
“Crap it’s cold..” I said while rubbing my arms softly. We proceeded to walk to the house that had music blaring loudly from it. There were people standing outside of the house either drinking from a red cup, talking our passed out.

We walked up to the door steps and opened the door, which showed a bunch of people dancing, twerking or making out in the corner. I resisted the urge to throw up already, that’s when Astrid dragged me to the beverage station.

“Hey can I have 4 tequila shots” She said while smirking deviously at me.

“Sure thing” the guy said before turning around to set them up

“I’m not drinking Astrid..” I said sternly

“Ugh! Cmon! Loosen up a little! Your 17 and never drank or smoked anything in your life! Your being such a prude” She exclaimed

“I’m not a prude! I just like being different” I said rolling my eyes

“Just two and that’s it!” She said pushing me slightly. The guy had finally returned with four shots and had set them in front of us.
I started to think about it. Am I becoming a prude? She’s right I’ve never done anything that mostly all kid of my age do because I was taught it was wrong. My parents always would keep me in the lines making sure I didn’t fall with the wrong crowd and always did everything to impress them.. Maybe I should loosen up..
“Sooo?”
I sighed before nodding my head. Astrid grinned as she grabbed a shot and gave me one and grabbed one herself. She handed me a lime aswell.
“On the count of 3, we down the shots, then suck on the lime” She said
I nodded my head as I smelled the drink. Ugh that smelled disgusting.
“1....2.....3!” We both downed the shot at the same time. My throat started to burn as the alcohol went through my system. I sucked on the lime quickly feeling a little better.

“How you feel baby!” Astrid said while smiling proudly.

“I actually feel...great” I said smiling

“See I told you! Next shot!” She said as she handed me a shot along with another lime.
“Ready... Go!”

I downed the shot again. That one wasn’t as bad as the first one. I sucked on my lime as I turned around to look at the crowd. Where we were we can see everyone and everything they are doing. The floor was packed with sweating bodies dancing on one another. There was a circle as you can see two girls twerking getting the attention of all the guys. Up on the corner you can see a couch where a group of guys say smoking, and passing it along amongst each other. On the other side you can see a hallway I think leading to upstairs.

“Let’s go dance bitchh!” Astrid dragged me to the dance floor. I started to move my hips to the beat of the song. I could feel the vibration of the speakers playing music pulsing through my body as danced. Astrid was now dancing with a guy so I was dancing by myself for the time being. I had the sudden urge to pee so I left Astrid to go to the bathroom. I went up the stairs that lead to the bathroom.
I opened the door to see to people making out. I rolled my eyes.
“Get out have to use the bathroom” I said they both groaned and rolled their eyes at me mostly the girl. I closed the door and locked it and did my business,and washed my hands. I walked down the stairs so bump into someone.

“Woah I’m sorry!” I said while turning around

“It’s fine!” The girl said while looking at me

“I honestly didn’t mean to!’ I said

“No it’s fine honestly! What’s your name I never seen you around?” She asked

“My names Elizabeth” I said while smiling politely
