High For This

Elizabeth’s POV

Locking my car I made my way towards the door. It was currently 8:30 am.

I dropped the Liam last since it was on my way to the studio. I was picking up Astrid and Carl after wards. Liana said she would meet us at my house so she can get her clothes from hers.

But something weird happened this morning though. That I couldn’t shake off.

*Flashback*

“You better come early Liana! Don’t leave us hanging.”

I chuckled softly as to what Astrid was saying.

“I promise girl.. is she always like this?” Liana said as she leaned forward and looked me.

“Like what? A psycho. Yes, always had always will be” I said

Astrid gasped and hit my shoulder. Liana began cracking up in the back. I rubbed my shoulder as I laughed as well.

We were currently parked in front of school since it is pretty early they decided to stay since the boys weren’t here either. Carl had left earlier claiming.

‘I don’t want to be apart of this conversation’

“Who is a psycho?”

A voice said causing me to seize my laughing and see who had spoke. My eyes landed on Louis and Harry. Louis looking at me while Harry was looking at the ground.

“Astrid.. already bossing me around.” Liana said jokingly

“I am not psycho.” Astrid grumbled out while crossing her arms and pouted.

“I don’t know love..” Louis said causing Astrid to flip him off.

“Ah I feel the love..” Louis said sarcastically while smiling playfully.

“Where’s my brother dipshits?” Liana exclaimed as she stepped out of my car.

I shot a look at her. I looked back at Liam to notice he had headphones in watching his cartoons. Thank god.

“He said he was on the way but that was like 20 minutes ago..” spoke Harry for the first time.

I took in Harry’s appearance. He was in a black muscle shirt showing all his tattoos. With some black ripped jeans with some boots to complete his look.

He looked so good.. Like my god.. His outfit was simple yet made him look so appealing.

“Liz.. Liz!”

I got out of my trance to notice everyone was looking at me. Harry smirking at the fact he had just caught me staring. I felt blush creep on my face as I looked back at Louis.

“Uh what’d you say?”

“I said.. Are you coming tonight?”

“Tonight..?”

Whats tonight again?

“Yes she is! She’s going to be shaking that thang” Astrid said causing me to cough intensely.

“I’m going but I am not shaking anything.” I clarified causing Astrid to groan.

“Come on! Don’t be a buzzkill.”

“I am not a buzzkill!”

“Liz, Daryl is goinggg..” Astrid said while winking

With that everyone’s conversation went silent. They seemed like that intrigued to what Astrid had said and were trying to listen in.

“Who’s Daryl?” Liana asked

I looked down feeling my face heat up. Daryl was Astrid’s brothers friend from college. I had a major crush on him in like 9th grade.

I met him at one of Astrid’s family party. It was a meaningless crush that he knew about. Because Astrid’s brother overheard our conversation. He was sweet about it, didn’t tease me whats so ever. Obviously made it clear that nothing would ever happen.

To be fair I was a 14 year old girl crushing on a 19 year old. But a girl could dream!

“Oh no one just Liz’s old crush..” Astrid said causing Liana and Louis to step closer.

Ready to hear the gossip. While Harry face showed anything but anger. With that he walked away not before kicking a trash can. Both Liana and Louis turned around to witness this unfold.

“I’ll go after him see you later love!” With that Louis took off running after him.

“I think we should get to class Astrid..” Liana suggested

Astrid nodded and stepped out. They both said bye and walked away. Leaving me there shocked.

*End of Flashback*

It was so weird. After that I called Diane in advance and she was happy to hear I was coming by. Told me to come through the back she’ll be in her studio.

I made my way down the hall turning to the only open room. I stepped inside to see Diane cleaning the mirrors.

“Oh my god Elizabeth..”

Diane put down the stuff and made her way towards me and pulled me into a hug. I hugged her back.

“Now what do I owe the pleasure of you coming by today?”

“Well.. I’ve been thinking about it lately and decided on getting back into dancing like before..” I said

Diane smiled happily.

“That is GREAT! Here let’s start stretching and practice shall we?”

“We shall..” I said smiling and followed her closely.
