We were so jet legged Thursday night that we just checked into the hotel room and fell asleep. The next morning, I woke up and went to the rehearsal with my parents. It’s a shame we didn’t get a chance to see much of Sydney.

I saw my sister and gave her a big hug and congratulated her. As we walked deeper into the church, I saw Ashton standing by the altar, with the other three members of 5SOS.

I’ve always mostly been in Luke’s lane, but all four of them are so cute in person.

During the ceremony, I was to stand at the very end of Ashton’s groomsmen line, with Luke to my left. Fucking Luke, fuck me! (I need Jesus, I know.)

I would be walking down the aisle with one of Kari’s friends who I had seen around the house a few times growing up.

After rehearsing, we all went to a really fancy restaurant for dinner. It was the nicest restaurant I had ever been to. The waiters wore tuxes and there was an actual band playing smooth jazz. I sat with my parents. I really wanted to go talk to the other 5SOS members and ask a zillion questions but I didn’t want to be a fangirl. They were all three together at a different table, and I kept making glances over at them.

After dinner, Ashton came up to me. I don’t know if he legitimately wanted to talk to me or if he felt like he had to talk to everyone.

“Aiden,” Ashton said as he approached me, like he was making sure that was actually my name. “Hey man, so me and the other groomsmen are going out for my bachelor party, want to come?”

Okay, so his other groomsmen were the other three 5SOS boys and his brother, who was his best man. So…it was just 5SOS for the bachelor party, and then…me? Was he just inviting me because he felt like he had to?

“I don’t want to intrude.” I said back.

“Not at all man!” Ashton shot back. “The guys are like my family and tomorrow we’ll be family. I want to get to know you and so will they!”

I was strangely touched by this. “I’d love to!” I said. After I got up to follow him to the party, I realized that this bachelor party might be very, shall I say…
