As I took the last sip of my English Breakfast tea, two guys came up to my table. I looked up and it was my brother and Niall Horan. Since when was my brother friends with all these famous people?

“Oh hey” I wide eyed my brother, referring to the Irish boy standing next to him.

“Niall, this is my little sister Karen…Karen, this is Niall Horan as you probably know” Jackson introduced us with a cheeky smile on his face like he was up to something. The boys sat down on the table with me and I did not feel so lonely anymore.

“So, I hear you’ve met my good friend Harry?” Was the first thing Niall says to me with a friendly smile.

“Yes…Yes I have” I did not know whether to smile about it or keep a neutral expression.

“What do you think of him?” Niall questions me. I looked to Jackson, not knowing what to exactly say.

“Umm…he’s nice, he just went out to breakfast with my best friend Mia” I answered.

“Oh that makes sense, I was wondering why you were all alone” Jackson pointed out.

“Well, I’m glad we’re able to keep you company” Niall flashes me a big grin. I gave him a smile back. Niall is super cute, if I may say so myself. The boys and I went upstairs to hang out in the hotel room. We sat down on the couch with me in the middle, and Jackson turned on the TV and the entertainment news was on.

“Harry Styles was spotted this morning at a café with the same girl he was seen clubbing with last night, could this be the girl of his dreams? Find out more, only on E news” The hosts reports. They showed pictures of Harry and Mia leaving a club last night with Jackson tagging behind.

“Karen, you look angry” Niall spoke up. I did not even realise my facial expression changed.

“Oh no, I’m fine…” I trailed off.

“Someone’s jealous” Jackson nudges me with a cheeky wink.

“Shut up, no I’m not” I nudged him back, glaring at him. Jackson just laughs in my face and gets up to go to the bathroom, leaving Niall and I all alone. In the corner of my eye, I could see him staring at me as I watched the TV. I did not know whether to find it creepy or a compliment that Niall Horan could not take his eyes off me.

“Umm…” Niall clears his throat, seeming a little nervous, “Are you free tonight?”. Shit. Is he about to ask me on a date?

“Yeah I am” I shifted my look to him.

“Did you maybe want to go out to dinner tonight?” Niall asks me looking a bit nervous himself.

“Yeah sure, I would love to” I answered surprisingly fast and confidently. If Mia gets to be with Harry, I can be with Niall. Niall is not Harry but he is probably better anyway.

“What do we have here hey?” Jackson smirked as he came back over, “Did I just hear Niall asking my little sister out on a date tonight?”. He gives us a wink. He can be so annoying sometimes.

“I sure did mate” Niall laughs which made me laugh a little too.

Niall, Jackson and I had spent most of the day hanging out in the hotel room. Harry and Mia had not even come back yet. A part of me was dying to know what they were up to.

“Do you reckon they will start dating?” Jackson looks to me.

“I guess” I shrugged my shoulders.

“Knowing Harry, he’d be too hesitant about it” Niall spoke up as he changed the TV channel.

“What do you mean? I swear he’s dated so many girls” I claimed.

“Yeah but never for that long though…it always falls through you know” Niall explained looking me in the eye. Suddenly, the hotel room door clicks open and in came the two love birds. Ugh.

“Oh hey Niall” Harry looked surprised seeing his good friend here. Niall got up and gave Harry a brotherly hug. I could feel Mia’s eyes on me. She was probably hoping that I was not mad at her. There was a huge awkward silence. Jackson and I just kept our eyes glued to the TV while Harry, Mia and Niall looked around at each other also dreading the silence.

“Hmm, so Karen, we should probably head off now” Niall finally gives in and breaks the silence. Thank god for that. I stood up and smiled at him.

“Sure, I’ll just go get my stuff” I said and went into my bedroom. I hear a knock on my door. Mia came in and shut the door behind her. For some reason, I kind of wished it was Harry to tell me not to go with Niall because he wanted me instead. But it was Mia with an apologetic face on.

“M, if you’re here to apologise, don’t…I forgive you and it’s all good ok, you’re my best friend and I am very happy for you” I put on the best smile I could clutching my purse in my hand.

“Thanks Kaz, I still feel really bad about it though, I know that he’s your biggest crush and everything…but seems like you and Niall hit it off?” She put in.

“Yeah he’s nice, no big deal” I smirked.

“Well, have fun, you guys make a cute couple” Mia pulls me in for a hug.

“Thank you, so do you and Harry” I hugged back, not knowing myself if I even meant it or not.
