Love Me Like You Do

I woke up to the bright morning sun shining onto my face through the big hotel window. I guess I must have fallen asleep on the couch and forgot to close the curtains. I slowly at up and letting out a big yawn and wondered if Mia made it safely home.

“Mia?” I called out for her as I made my way to her bedroom. I knocked on the door but there was no answer, she still must have been fast asleep. She does love her alcohol so she will most likely have a hangover today. I was about to leave her be and walked away when the door clicked open.

“Karen!” Mia sounded flustered. I turned around to her and I noticed her cheeks were blushing red.

“Are you alright Mia?” I asked her, stepping forward.

“No! I mean…no, don’t come any closer Kaz, I reek of alcohol, you don’t wanna be near me right now, trust me” She innocently smiled. Something did not seem right, especially that she would not open her door wider, as if she was trying to hide something in her bedroom.

“What’s going on M? We’ve been best friends for ages, you can tell me anything” I told her. There was a moment of silence until Mia sighed and let her door swing open revealing what was in her bedroom. But in this case, it was a ‘who’.

“What the fuck?!” I exclaimed feeling like I was about to have a heart attack. Sat up on Mia’s bed was the one and only Harry Styles. Shirtless.

“Hi” Harry innocently smiled.

“I’m so sorry Kaz! We freaked out when we woke up too, we were really drunk last night, we had no idea what the fuck we were doing, I’m so so so sorry!” Mia blurted out looking so guilty.

“Umm, no…it’s fine, don’t worry, it’s not like Harry and I are dating…” I pretended like I did not care, “I’m just gonna go down to the buffet breakfast and leave you guys alone”. I walked away to go to my bedroom to get ready before they could say anything else to me. I stood up from my bed after putting my shoes on when I hear a knock on my door. I sighed and gave in. I opened my door expecting Mia trying to apologise to me again but it was not her.

“Hi umm…I wanted to apologise myself too, I know this must look really bad, I’m really sorry but like you said, it’s not like we’re dating right?” Harry says as he stands in the doorway with only his boxers on.

“It’s fine, I don’t care, you guys do whatever you want, I wasn’t really interested in dating you anyway” I completely lied to his face. Harry's face expression dropped like he had never been rejected by a girl before.

“Well, Mia and I are gonna go out for breakfast, did you wanna join us?” He asks.

“Oh no, it’s ok, you guys go, I’m just gonna go down to the hotel buffet then come back up here, I don’t really feel like going out today” I honestly replied.

“Aww, that’s ok, I’ll see you around then” He smiles a little then walks back to Mia’s room. I know I should not care but I feel like I had just been betrayed by my best friend. Mia knows how much I love him, maybe not personally, but I have always had a crush on Harry and now she goes and fucks him? I thought she wanted my brother. I quickly leave the hotel room so I did not have to see the two of them again. As I walked out of the elevator, camera flashes went off, blinding me for a moment then they stopped.

“Oh, it’s alright guys, it’s not Harry” One of the camera men says. Ugh, paparazzi.

“Hey you, have you seen Harry Styles in the hotel? Do you know what room he’s in? Is he with a girl?” Another one asks me.

“Umm…no” I bluntly answered then forced my way through the paparazzi so I could make my way to the hotel’s restaurant.

“It’s Harry! Harry! Smile Harry! Who’s that girl? Is she your girlfriend? Have you finally found the one?” I heard the paparazzi shout out as Harry and Mia exited out of the elevator. I turned around as they tried to walk out of the hotel. Harry had his hand around Mia’s waist as if he was protecting her from getting hurt. A slight jealous feeling came over me. I forced myself to stop looking at them and turned around to go to the buffet. When I sat down at a table by myself, I decided to text my brother about what the fuck happened last night.

Harry Styles just fucked my best friend. What the hell happened last night?!

Seriously??? Well they both got really drunk, I was sober enough to convince them it was time to go home but then Mia insisted that Harry should stay the night with her and he agreed.

Why didn’t you stop him???

Because he said he wanted to see you again, I didn’t think they were gonna fuck, are you ok? Do you want me to come to you?

If you don’t mind…

Sure thing, is it ok if I bring one of my friends though? I promised we were gonna hang out today

Yeah sure, I’ll be at the hotel buffet
